My son has been very well treated and the staff is incredible!

Dr. Saripkin and Nurse Cindy are the best! My son has UC and upper GI Crohn's and he has been symptoms free for 4 years. He has to have a remicade treatment every 9 weeks we drive 2 hours one way to get there and they always work around our schedule. Truly a blessing to have found them and worth having to drive there every 9 weeks!

Dr. Patel is wonderful, as is the rest of the staff at the main office on Meridian Mark. We took our 12 year old son to GI Care for Kids and we were randomly assigned to Dr Patel and we now feel that our son could not be in better hands. After a few visits, Dr. Patel was able to diagnose our son with Crohn's Disease. He started our son on immediate treatment and now (2 months later) our son is looking and feeling better than he has in a long time. Dr. Patel has just the right balance of patience and aggressiveness. He is always easy to talk to and has a way of making everything easy to understand. He is never condescending and spends lots of time talking directly with our son. We never feel rushed at all and he is always willing to sit with us and answer any questions we have.

The only "negative" I would give this place is that you do need to be prepared to wait a while to see the doctor. They are very busy and so they typically run behind, so just make sure you plan on waiting for an extra 30-60 minutes to get in to see the doc. Ultimately, however, I don't really consider this a negative aspect because I know that the reason they run behind is because they are dealing with children and worried parents...which eats up time. Even though we sometimes have to wait a while to see Dr. Patel, once he comes into the room we NEVER feel rushed and he always spends as much time with us as we need...and that's what really matters in the end.

I would also like to point out that the Remicade infusion center (for treating Crohn's) next door to this office also has a great staff and our son loves going for his infusions. They have really made us feel like family.

Dr. Meyers and his nurse is WONDERFUL! We had the pleasure of having Dr Meyers during one of my son's hospital stays and I have never seen a doctor so attentive, coming in at any hour of the day, not just during morning rounds. I never had to wait for him and whenever I had a question it was answered quickly. His PA and nurse is just as wonderful. We are sorry to have to find another doctor, only because we moved to another state.

Dr. Myers comes highly recommended. However his front staff/ receptionist are the RUDEST, unhelpful group of people I have EVER encountered in my life. I am now searching for a different doctor for my baby solely because of the front staff. So disappointed.

The women who do the scheduling over the phone are not only dumb and stupid but very incompetent. How do you request an appointment for GAINESVILLE and get scheduled for ATLANTA?? There not spelled the same or even close to each other. How is these doctors work with kids but can't schedule an appointment after 3 pm. KIDS GET OUT OF SCHOOL AROUND 3. Who wants to take their child out of school for a day to see the doctor?? They not coming to help your child with the work they missed if you can't so why put them in that position. Don't waste your time. They charge you $50.00 if you cancel in less than 24 hours or is a no show. Who the hell gonna pay for my wasted time and gas?? I think they need to pay me!!!!

Great hospital ! When I popped a blood vessel at field day at Sutton school , they were nice and immediately fixed it and were nice about it! They fixed it up quick and were nice ! Thank you children's hospital of Atlanta ! You have all been real nice !

RUDEST OFFICE STAFF I HAVE EVER MET. Did not help, transferred my 3 times to voice mail; then hung up one mee!!!!!!
