I am shocked at how many people complain about losing one dollar a day, I see it as money well spend with endless blessings. I can easily spend thousands on materialistic stuff yet I wonder if my sponsored children are eating adequately and getting proper schooling with only 39pm but every little counts, thank you for caring. The 2 lads I signed up with were thorough and just amazingly full of energy, love their work

The volunteers that hit the streets of Adelaide ...

The volunteers that hit the streets of Adelaide are friendly at first. Then they tell you no payments needed now, then boom, out comes the IPAD where you enter your card details. Which I politely told the young man, I am not comfortable with. He then started badgering me and tried forcing me to sign up. What is 1 dollar right?! If it is 1 dollar, why on earth do I need a debit order? Also, why can t I sign up myself? I don t need someone who becomes rude when I say no, to do it for me!

Got conned into losing $40 a month by being lied to that it was going to be a 1 time donation. Don't trust the people trying to sign you on in shopping centres. Supposed to be a charity not there to lie and steal from people

I've been a supporter of Childfund for a few years now. I'd been looking for a charity that was doing work with underprivileged children in Ethiopia and which Childfund was doing.

I would recommend that people don't confuse the behavior of fundraisers on the street with the charity, charities usually use third parties to find sponsors and their behavior isn't always representative of the charity and its work.
