Lovely community theatre. Always welcoming, always fun. Go see a show there - or just meet a friend for a snack or coffee. Whatever your choice, you'll be supporting a great inclusive theatre project!

Inclusive theatre company in North London. Inspirational to be able to attend a parents and baby workshop (planet play) where the theatre company including those with varying levels of disabilities also ran the workshop. A phenomenal example to set to children of all ages about inclusivity and accepting everyone regardless of differences. Highly recommended.

It has opened my eyes to possibilities this theatre is no normal theatre it has changed the way I think about the world and mostly myself.
Every time when I am on stage all of my worries about reality goes away, I am just Me I also feel like I belong. I have made amazing friends over the year I have been there, they are my best friends.
And it's all thanks to chickenshed.

An inspirational center of excellence for local community. Christmas Carol show was excellent. The place oozes enthusiasm and in the light of recent arts funding cuts must be a celebrated local asset.

What came first - the Chickenshed or the amazing "egg" that is a fantastic venue for local shows and more? Was there to work on a charity book launch and found them easily one of the better theatres I've had the pleasure to be in over the last few years. Everyone else speaks highly of them, and I can only presume the outstanding experience I had of the venue is one that represents their longer term provision.

Great venue, very welcoming to all and a nice layout. I was there for a Tales from the Shed performance and a young ones birthday, both of which were expertly handled. There's free parking outside and the venue prices are very reasonable.

What a fabulous local theatre.

What a fabulous local theatre.
Free parking, lovely (reasonably priced) bar/diner, small intimate theatre and friendly staff. Saw a great performance of Jekyll and Hyde which was well acted (and sung) by the actors. Even better to know that this venture is inclusive for all members of the community. Definitely recommend.

Never having attended a Chicken Shed production before, I wasn't sure what to expect. However, I feel what I experienced was exceptional. The gent who played Faust held the stage, delivered his lines with utter credibility and was intuitive to cover, when minor things weren't quite going to plan. The other actors held their roles well, too.
Great singing, particularly strong from the ladies - fab.
The stage design was wonderfully creative- by Sunny Smith. Great concept and convertable use of props.
Lightening worked well. The music/sound effects were interesting - there was a rattly- froggy sort of sound that was quite errie - brilliant.
We really enjoyed the experience. The general support team were friendly, the theatre space was nice and intimate, so one felt almost involved. Wow! We had a good time! Many thanks to everyone.

Came to watch the show Rapunzl. It was brilliant. My 5 year old loved it. And me too. Really well put together, actors did amazing performance, loved the music, spoken words. It was a brilliant show. Well done. Parking available if you come early. Otherwise you are better off parking on the streets around.

Don t bother - Our view of the performance was completely ruined by the flashing spinning lights they sold to people on the way in and during the interval. In a darkened theatre this kind of light pollution is entirely unacceptable. I was really really annoyed; I asked the family directly in front if they would switch it off during the performance and was told no, they sell them here . What a ridiculous thing to allow during the show. This is supposed to be an inclusive performance venue and even for those without additional needs it s immensely distracting and annoying. For our party, which included a child with autism, this made it a total write off. Would never return.
