This place does not support young people to get in...

This place does not support young people to get into the industry it undermines both professional industry and the expectations of young people. Staff take advantage of the spotlight instead of giving it to students they self absorb to their own personal interests. They care more about the money they are getting from funders to enrich their needs instead of the needs of the young people. Unless you are sleeping around, related to a teacher or will sacrifice your soul in an unhealthy way you will not get anywhere. They use people with different abilities as a tool to show that they are inclusive when really they are sly bullies. Teachers sleep with students and they manage to get to the top this way. Chickenshed looks all good from the outside looking in but there is a deep dark underlying surface that needs attention paid to it. I know this because I am a current student at this school looking for a way out.

Wonderful theatre, and a wonderful cause. Amateur dramatics that does not feel amateur in any way. The venue is well kept and designed. Highly recommended the shows here and all support is graciously received.

I just spent an hour typing all that is wrong with the place and the staff in the place then the website went screwy and I lost it all!

I can now only reiterate all that Sam typed and there is a MASSIVE amount more! It is a truly dreadful place that should have been closed down years ago!

I love Chickenshed Theatre, the art and the love that they spread through our community is amazing. I also really enjoy the restaurant in the theatre, Brooklyns, there's an excellent choice of dishes and anyone I take there is always incredibly impressed by the mountain of foam with a generous coverage of chocolate powder, when they order a cappuccino.

Good local theatre company. It's big on inclusivity so everyone's welcome and they never fail to amaze with the variety of shows. Love that most productions have signers for the hearing impaired.

Nice show
