Never had a vacancy. Missed a few statements in my email but not a big deal since unless there was a repair I got the same amount each month. Provided receipts for repairs as soon as possible which helped me plan my finances. Returned my property in great condition when I moved back.
I repeatedly have to contact Chicagoland Leasing and Management to collect the rent on a unit I rent through them. Chicagoland Leasing and Management never returns my emails or calls, and when they do, they send a "cut and paste" response that they are looking into the issue, and will get back to me soon...which they never do. I am currently missing multiple months in rent, and they have not responded to a single call or email. It is easier to deal directly with a tenant than to use Chicagoland Leasing and Management.
CLM was always very responsive and I would definitely recommend to other tenants looking to rent one of their properties.

As an owner of two properties managed by Chicagoland Leasing, I am very happy with their service. If a property needs repairs, emergencies are handled immediately and all other repairs within days typically.
Worst company ever. They are practically slum lords. Nora Bohanon will be quick to pick up a call for any showings but will refuse to answer if you need help with anything additional. They have non existent office hours where you can reach someone it is all driven by a terrible automated system for leaving voicemails. Someone will get back to you on their time. They will hang you out to dry if you rent a condo from them on any building maintenance like fire alarm checks, parking lot resurfacing, any form of condo related maintenance. they will make you meet every contractor as if you where the actual landlord. They have terrible communications even kept part of my deposit with no explanation as to the withhold and refuse to contact me over the issue.Email, phone call Voicemail they can ignore you every way imaginable and will!. Wouldn't rent from them again if the rent where FREE!
Be careful with this company and don't fall victim although they know unit they are showing is being foreclosed they still show it and try to rent it.
Chicagoland Leasing took care of several major urgent repairs, handled all our questions, and kept our rental in excellent shape. When it was time to sell, the process was as smooth as possible! Property sold fast and we received top dollar for the home.
Maintenance was always quick to come out whenever there was an issue. With all the not-so-reputable companies out there, it's a breath of fresh air to find one that treats it's tenants this well.
CLM has been managing our property for 6+ years and so far we've had great tenants. Most tenants have renewed their lease at least for one additional year and we only had one vacancy for a little more than a month. CLM as done a great job at picking good tenants and we know they don't approve everyone which is why we had the vacancy but we'd rather have good tenants than ones that don't pay rent and destroy our home since we used to live there.
As a property owner, it is crucial to find the right property management company that understands the laws and regulations that landlords have to abide by. Thank you for answering all my lengthy questions. It s rare these days to find knowledgeable and polite service.

Worst possible leasing company we have EVER dealt with. They attempted to hold our deposit until we threatened legal action. After being told we would be getting a full refund we still had basically hunt down someone to speak with us regarding the issue. All responses would take days or no response at all. There is no phone number to call and physically speak to someone. AVOID USING THIS LEASING COMPANY at all costs.
