Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Review

We had an excellent stay here. Place was spotless and the front desk clerks were very friendly. This is the view from our room on the 40th floor. Corner room. I highly recommend paying for it.

Clean, crisp, esthetically pleasing. Staff have been overwhelmingly helpful, polite and kind. Finally a hotel bar that also serves hot food! The hotel is a wonderful place to come back to after a day of work and relax!

Older hotel, but convenient to everything all along the Miracle Mile. Great views of the city from the rooms also.

Stayed here for a few days and was super impressed; what a terrific spot! The hotel isn't the most modern, nor it is outdated, though it is cool. The overall vibe was pretty calm considering its bustling location --which was awesome.

The staff was incredible. Extremely helpful, courteous and polite, and very welcoming.

Their gym was like nothing I've ever experienced in a hotel. It literally was like a full gym with a membership with awesome machines, free weights, more running, elliptical and stepper machines than you'd know what do do with and a separate room for yoga and 16 spin bikes.

Their concierge lounge was just phenomenal. Quite frankly one of the best I've ever experienced. They have a full breakfast with a chef prepping whatever you want in regard to eggs, omelets and more. They had homemade sausage daily, and delicious coffee --wow, what a spot!

The beds were super comfy, and linens incredible. The rooms were pretty standard and hallways somewhat dated, but everything else at the hotel outshined any of that --incredible spot. Cannot wait to go back!

I recently stayed at the Marriott on the magnificent mile this past 5/21/21-5/23/21. When we got there they let us check in a few hours early which was great. And then we went to the room and had to leave right away to go get some dinner. We didn t get back later till the evening and went to watch tv and the tv didn t work. We called maintenance and the guy tried to fix the tv and couldn t. Then we tried to put our leftover dinner in the mini fridge and the mini fridge didn t work. When I went to take a shower in the morning the shower looked like it hadn t been cleaned and there were plastic gloves found next to the one of the beds. When we checked out my husband let the front desk know everything that wasn t working and what we found all we got was I am so sorry . I feel like we should have been compensated for something. Even our parking or a discount off of the hotel. My other complaint is the fact that you have to pay for WiFi in your room. I have never been to hotel and had to pay for it. I ll be honest I won t be staying at this hotel again. I am super disappointed.

Beautiful hotel. The view is amazing..Rooms on the small side but it's so nice that doesn't matter. Staff are friendly and hotel is clean and welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of everything. You can just walk to all the top shots downtown..

Great view from the 42nd floor in the Heart of Downtown you don't need a car everything is in walking distance

We had such an awesome stay here! The views from the room of the downtown Chicago skyline are out of this world! The food pantry on the first floor is very convenient. The rooms were very nice and clean!
