Reasonable prices, beautiful interior and delicious Bruschetta. Chianti grill is a local favorite of mine to experience some upscale dinner and have a wonderful time with friends. The wait is rarely bad, the food is great and the service is always professional. Great restaurant, two thumbs up!

Their food is pretty good, better than Olive Garden for a comparison, but their lunch buffet is somewhat lacking however it is nice because you will not feel the need to have to try everything. It s a great idea if your hungry and want better food while at the same time trying to keep from overeating

What an amazing place! Walking in the door you knew it would be wonderful based on the delicious smell. We ate in a booth at the bar & the service was fabulous. Even though they had an hour wait, we never felt rushed. The food was phenomenal when it came. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great service, lovely atmosphere, decent wine list and delicious food. Portions are generous. Lunch menu is more affordable if you want to try it without the dinner price tag. Brunch is set up in the bar area, the selection is average but is always filled and fresh. Great date night spot, but also fun for family gatherings or brunch with friends. They're happy to accommodate larger parties especially if you call ahead.

Chianti definitely doesn't have a lot of vegetarian or vegan options, but that's to be expected from a grill. However, they have continuously allowed me to substitute their vegetable medley in place of chicken in their Spicey Chicken Penne. They even season the vegetables like they would the chicken. Their service is always amazing. This is my wife and I's preferred spot for date nights, but is also family friendly. Plus, they have a Bread Club rewards program that gets you $10 or $15 off your meal and free dessert for your birthday.

Great for lunch or supper. Food is high quality and appetizingly presented with the flourish of ground pepper & grated cheese. Wait staff can vary friendly-wise, but can be generally described as capable and efficient. Lovely dining hall and seasonal special cocktails cap off a real treat.

The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of pastries, but a limited variety of the hot and or main meal items. The food was very good, and the service was also very quick. However, I probably won't go back because it got so busy and only one line is formed at the buffet causing a significant wait to go back for more.

Excellent and well made Italien food, fresh and handmade food. It maybe on the pricey side but well worth the quality and quantity you receive. Staff are very accommodating and very friendly. Great place if you have a larger group.

We were lucky enough to have found a table in the bar. We had a lovely waitress named Michelle. She was extremely helpful and offered several recommendations. We both had the 8 oz filet and parmesan mashed potatoes. Both were prepared perfectly and everything was very delicious. We are looking forward to visiting again soon!

Warm, inviting atmosphere. I am a MN native but live in CA. I was back for thanksgiving and my old work family took me out for dinner and drinks. I've always been a fan of Chianti and this visit did not disappoint. I had a Moscow Mule which was delicious! Thanks to the staff for taking great care of us!

Hm? (NEW REVIEW) UPDATE. Think the chef might of changed, all I can say is the waitress (Tamika?) was !!EXCELLENT!!; the straw and hay tortellini was at best fair and the $19 portion didn't fill the bowl even half way while the other 4 guests had very large portions. Tried the lasagna bolongnese but it was mostly diced tomatoes, absolutely no meat and very little noodles ( 7 layer ) by the menu description.
(OLD REVIEW) ;Best Italian food! I've lived in Vicenza for two years ate in trattoria's from Malga Coe, and Folgaria; you can't get better northern Italian cuisine. My favorite is their straw and hay tortellini con prociuto, con fungi, con piselli; reminds me of tortellini alla pana at Rigehettis in Vicenza.

Bruschetta is delicious, service is great, decent wine selection, and if you order meat they actually prepare it the way you ask. Be wary when ordering a salad, if you don't ask for dressing on the side you might find yourself with some soupy greens.

I've been here many times in past years, just not so much as I used to. However, I still enjoy the service, the ambiance and flavorful Italian food especially on a snowy winter's day, like last Friday.

The greeting at the front desk was a little "chilly," my petite co-worker and I had been completely ignored by the young man behind the desk. He had curtly helped the guest in front of us telling her she had to take a seat as he put her on a "wait list" then instantly exited the counter without giving us another glance! We both looked at each other, shook our heads then turned to the other two young gals behind the desk, I took a step forward announcing myself and the table we were to be joining since we had reservations at 11:30 and we were on time despite the weather. The host then kindly, with a smile directed us in the direction of our party.

Fortunately, things went up hill from there!
Our server was a delight!
She listed off the specials, the foods that were being offered at their $11.95 All you Can Eat Lunch Buffet - which usually includes 2 soups, build your own fresh house salad, 2 hot pastas of the day and 2 kinds of pizzas...I'm sure I'm forgetting more. Anyway, several of the ladies in my group ordered the Lunch Buffet coming back with some wonderful smelling and tasty looking food. Just remember most of the food at the Lunch Buffet varies daily and runs Monday through Friday from 11:30am - 1:30pm, Dine In Only.

I ordered the Seafood Cannelloni with a side salad - $16.50.
The Cannelloni is filled with shrimp, scallops and lump crab meat that's baked in rolled sheets of pasta smothered in a sherry cream sauce topped off with aged Parmesan Cheese [pictured]! Not only was it flavorful, you never had a problem spotting your seafood or tasting it! The shrimp, scallops & crab flavors came through clearly with the perfect amount of seasoning for the dish. The pasta was al dente' as it should be and the seafood perfectly cooked. I would definitely order this dish again!

Another co-worker of mine ordered the Chicken Sorrento with a side salad - $16.50.
It looked delicious! It's chicken breast with capers, tomatoes and artichokes sauteed in lemon basil wine sauce served over a bed of angel hair sorrento. I could smell the lemon basil wine sauce! She said it was really good, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Just like me she too had to take half of her meal home!
Our side salads were fresh including red onions, ripe grape tomatoes and we loved the aged balsamic dressing!

During our time eating our server was very attentive to us, filling our drinks continuously, clearing dirty dishes, polite, knowledgeable, answering a bombardment of questions and always had a smile on her face! In my opinion, a true asset to this restaurant.

The atmosphere has a modern yet warm welcoming feel with cozy booths heavy dark wood tables covered with table linens, silverware and glasses of water. Towards the back of the restaurant it opens up to a high vaulted ceiling room that includes a large natural looking rock fireplace with lots of floor to ceiling windows. We were fortunate enough to be seated at a large round table that faced the fire place, so we could watch the large flakes of snow fall through the windows. However, I will say that it does get quite loud in there when the place fills up, especially if there's large groups.

Chianti is a really nice place that serves good Italian food. Something you can always count on that's done right! It's worth the visit. Enjoy!

Was not impressed by the wait staff. An Italian restaurant that cannot provide a recommendation of their Italian red wine collection is NOT an Italian restaurant. The calamari was substandard not impressed. Cheaper/better quality at Olive Garden. Meal came too fast to be prepared by hand. Entire meal arrived to table in 6 minutes. Seafood Cannelloni was crafted horrendously. Might as well have been mock fish soup. Overall, not worth the price. Better to spend money at an Authentic Italian restaurant such as Bar La Grassa or Cossetas. Highly disappointed in their attempt on Italian Cuisine. Will not be returning until menu is reevaluated.

Food was reasonably good, about what you would expect at a nice Italian restaurant, but not outstanding. Service was not great, took over an hour to even get our food order in and almost another hour to get it. Multiple things were forgotten, they resolved all issues but it took over 2 hours to eat, and this was not a multiple course meal.

This is a favorite place to go for the brunch with friends. Someone said, "The Best in the Twin cities". I always get the omelette bar, the artichoke fish and the monkey bread. And don't forget the canolli. The service is excellent.

Great food as always. We came here for the Father's day brunch and I tried their omellet bar, it was very good.

Their egg's bennedict were tasty and the biscuit and gravy did not disapoint.

I'm a big fan of their salads, specially the broccoli one. The prime rib was cooked to perfection.

The sweets are my favorite part with an assortment of cheesecakes, muffins, cookies, bars and chocolate bombons.

Service is great, our server was friendly and kept our waters and coffes topped of at all times.

If you have not tried Chianti Grill, I really recommend their brunch!

Went to Chianti Grill yesterday for my hubby's birthday dinner! It was outstanding as usual! They even bring in eggplant for me if I request it at the time of the reservation. I love eggplant parmesan!

I celebrated my birthday here Saturday night. I used to live nearby and I love Italian food, so nsturally it was a favorite lunch and dinner spot. Sadly I am now Gluten & Dairy free. They do have a gluten free menu but the majority of items contained some form of dairy which seriously limited my choices! I orderd a off the regular menu a dish with scallops, shrimp, lobster & risotto in a tomato sauce minus the butter & cheese they usually add..They do not offer any gluten & dairy free desserts.

Called to make a reservation for a Wednesday night...

Called to make a reservation for a Wednesday night at 6pm for my birthday. I had a party of ten which is within the governors orders for dine in for covid. The biggest table they had was for 8 people. So I then asked can I reserve 2 tables of 4 next to each other? She then tells me she can't guarantee 2 tables next to each other! Well what the hell is the point of a RESERVATION if the table cant be guaranteed??? Now Im scrambled to find a restaurant that will make my birthday dinner as special as I wanted it to be!!!
