It's small but I took my teenage daughter and nephew along with my 9 yr old niece and they had a blast. It's only 2 slides but they just rode them repeatedly. It was a great price and not too crowded. Something nice and fun to do to get out of the house.
Cute little spot but nothing fancy. Could use some updates but staff were very friendly and helpful. Military friendly which is a big plus.
Very nice water park for a smaller town two slides for your older kids and a nice kiddie area, an open pool and a splash area near the front of the park. Also, the lazy river for all ages! Food is reasonably priced with many different menu item great day destination.
Had an awesome day at the water park. My kids had so much fun. We went on a Friday to avoid the weekend assuming more people would be there then. Calvert residents only makes it amazing!! It was just the right crowd level where it was full but not insane. I d never want to be there if it was 4x more crowded. The reason I won t give it 5 stars is the service. We mobile ordered lunch from the grill and everything was messed up. It took multiple trips back up to the counter to get everything sorted. It really shouldn t be hard to get these orders right, especially with a limited menu and less crowds. The second thing was I overheard a scrawny, young blonde employee in a blue supervisors uniform refer to a group of kids as a**holes. They were only being silly young kids piling 4 on on a raft meant for two and they weren t disrespectful. Not that big of a deal. I d give her the advice to enjoy the power tripping now as a minimum wage lifeguard but that nasty attitude isn t going to get you anywhere when you get a real job.
Overall I recommend, especially during the Calvert only mandate. I really wish they d continue it!!
The park is really small (see the park map). I would not pay 30 bucks to go here. Thank goodness for Groupon. Not much little kids or toddler play things to do. A few positive things is the free parking and you can re enter since you have a wrist band.
Definitely old but still very fun for adults and kids of all ages. Will go again for sure. Only reason I gave four* was the kids working there did not know the answers to any of our questions. Had to find an adult employee.
The only issue I have is the fact that they couldn't really enforce the 6ft distance. They had signs telling you that you needed to wear your mask in certain places but no one would listen. Besides that, it was very nice like it normally is. For once it wasn't hard to find a spot either.
Fun place! The whole family enjoyed our day there. Will definitely be back!
I had a terrible experience....I had called previously to check what were the rules and regulations before taking an hour long drive with my family To the water park... a young lady answered the phone she told me that they had a 350 capacity and after I asked if they were at capacity she said no they would ve let her know ahead of time. Okay so we took the chance hoping when we got there it was not at capacity. As soon as we got there we went to go buy our tickets, the person at the ticket booth asked for our ID and if we were county resident...... (this is where it gets interesting lol) we were so confused we said we had called ahead of time and nobody told us about that very important information all they told us was the limit. So the young lady went to get her manager and he says the same thing to us. So now the young man (manager) went to get his general manager, we explained to her (General manager) nobody told us this information when we had called cause if we would ve known we would not have drove an hour and went else where. She told us to wait outside and that she will call the mayor to see what he said, so we waited very patiently to see what was the verdict..... well 10 min later we see two cop cars approaching us ... we were so confused my husband was confused also cause he is a DC officer... the general manager never called the mayor she called the cops on us..... we were very polite to her and she told us to wait for what?!?!? So she can call the cops???? I never felt so humiliated and discriminated in my life ( my whole family is Hispanic) all she could ve just said was no sorry we can t let you in and we would ve gone our way to go elsewhere . The cops was even confused about the situation cause it did not make no sense why she called the cops... anyways as we were leaving the park to go to our car the cops stopped us and said hey you guys she said it s okay for you guys to go in ...... what?!?!? After she called the cops on us and humiliated us in front of everyone we obviously turned down the offer...... but never again! I would write the general managers name but I will not stoop down to her level.
