Tour was fantastic! Fun to see Christmas decorations. Food at tea was abysmal. Need to serve traditional tea sandwiches that are meant to be cold. The toast with herbs and melted cheese and the potato pancakes were ice cold and tasted terrible. And if you made the cupcakes and scones in house, you need a new pastry chef. Though, I suspect they were chain store bought. Those items didn't taste great either. You should either charge less than the $50 ticket price, or tell guests that $45 goes to the preservation efforts and there is a $5 tea snack. That will align expectations better. Go for the tour, not the food.

I've lived 8 miles from this amazing place for 20 years, and only JUST went to a tea here recently, discovering this absolute GEM. I was enthralled with this place's rich history, and outstanding art collection. It also has retained its status as a working catle ranch! The views are some of the best on the front range. Just make a reservation!

Very beautiful estate and perfect location for any small scale wedding. Do run the risk of the elements being so high up, but for our visit it was very nice. Security is present to make sure the historical castle isn't damaged by any drunkards or kids playing.

We held my son's wedding at Cherokee Ranch last weekend and it was absolutely magical. This is such a special venue. I really can't imagine a better place to hold a wedding. The guests loved it and so did we

It is a beautiful place, which remains a working 3,400 acre cattle/hay ranch. The castle, fashioned in 15th century Scottish style is truly awesome. We had a lovely afternoon tea in beautiful surroundings and an extremely enjoyable, informative tour afterward. Our guide had been the butler to the beloved lady of the house, Tweet Kimball, for 21 years prior to her death. Beautiful European antiques fill the house. It is a lovely way to spend an afternoon.

This place is magical and the folks here are knowledgeable and very service oriented. IF you haven't made it out, it's a must. I brought a group of friends for one of the evening events, twinkle twinkle little bar. No where can you see views like this and have a cocktail that I know of.

Brunch, meh. Fruit salad, quinoa salad and spinach salad were all good, but proteins were a bit over cooked. Cash/credit bar. Shortened tour of castle definitely kept the attention of 9 and 11 year old (technology obsessed) boys' attention. Learning about the history of the castle was very interesting!

Really delightful day. My sister came to visit from New Jersey and I thought this would be the perfect outing. It didn't disappoint it's located in a beautiful setting marvelous views you walk through the castle and it's not a large Castle but it's very well kept it's a beautiful place. It truly is. We also had the high tea and it was a nice a sampling of all the foods and wait staff was very efficient what is a lot of fun I plan on doing it again

We were there for a murder mystery event. They only had one person making drinks, so the line was long. Then, they ran out of food before half of my large group could get through the buffet, and there were still many people still behind us! The home is lovely, but they needed to manage resources better.

Wasn't impressed that my ticket for high tea that was purchased was charged for 2 additional. I tried to reach out via phone twice. Was hung up on the first time and the second sent to voicemail and asked for a call back. No one called. Reached out AGAIN VIA Facebook and no one would respond however they had no problem responding to my sister about the dress code. We got to the tea I asked AGAIN and then I was told sorry too late catering was paid for only to see the kitchen staff made the food at the event. If you go to a tea triple check the amount of tickets.

The most spectacular setting for this amazing castle. You will need to show up for the scheduled tours or event to gain access to the castle itself. The drive was amazing and the property is so amazing. They have their own cemetary on the property and several memorials for their pricing winning studs. I will have to go to one of the teas!!

We have been at Cherokee Ranch for 3 different events. First the tour was amazing, very unique information and objects in the castle. The castle itself is quite a building. The second visit was a sunset hike. What beautiful land surrounding the castle. This property is a working cattle ranch set in the Rocky Mountain foothills and has a variety of landscapes with views that go on forever. The last visit to watch the elk as the rut has started. We brought our dinner and sat in the main room of the castle, very socially distant from the others viewing the elk. This room opens to a large veranda that overlooks some of the grounds. There was a teacher/ zoologist that told us facts and answered questions about the elk. We watched a herd of about 40 elk and some of the rituals associated with the rut. We are very lucky that this place is available to visit and learn from, it's wonderful.

This was an awesome day. This ranch/castle is amazing in itself, but it houses the most credible art and furnishing! We had lunch on the patio and a tour. We will be returning for other activities...bird tour!

Gorgeous place but beware of the High Teas. Attended one catered by Serendipity Caterers and it was the worst garbage served by the worst servers. Teas are a hobby and I have attended Teas in this area, other cities in the US and in other countries. This one rates 0 on a 10 scale.

One of the most unique places I've visited in Colorado! Went for the tea and tour. Definitely worth it! The views from the tower are breathtaking, make sure to bring a good camera. The tower stairs are steep, there is moderate walking and stairs as this is a 10,000 sq ft building!
During warmer months they offer hikes on their 4000 acre property as well.

Having our wedding at Cherokee Ranch & Castle was truly a dream come true!!! If you are looking for a unique and magical wedding venue with a spectacular view of the mountains, look no further! From the moment my husband and I stepped onto the Castle grounds, we knew it was the most perfect venue for our wedding reception. We had a destination wedding with guests coming from far and wide (many of which hadn't been to Denver before). Having our reception here provided our guests with a gorgeous Colorado setting like no other! The grounds, the historical artifacts and spectacular views are all incredible. Isabelle Kline was our wedding planner but also served as our point of contact at Cherokee. She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was beyond perfect. Despite weather complications and traffic delays, Isabelle and the Cherokee team ensure that everything went off without a hitch. Our guests adored the venue and I highly recommend it (and Isabelle) for your wedding!

If the Castle is advertising more for tours rather than brunch then yes it is a nice place. For a $50 Sunday brunch on the other hand the offerings were very minimal. Mixed greens, balsamic Vinaigrette, a chaffer of Fritatta, a chaffer of sliced ham, Chicken salad sandwich, egg salad sandwich both on croissant, cucumber sandwiches on wheat bread and a tray of sliced fruit. No desserts again for $50 I was so disappointed, I was expecting more of at least semi grand offerings as I am a Sous Chef at a hotel considering that this is a castle

The event put on for valentine's day is a treat. They limit it to less than 50 people. Start the evening with cocktail reception and tours. The history of the castle is amazing. They had a guitar player for the evening filling the great room with soft classical music. The dinner was buffet style, followed by dessert and coffee. The views from the castle tower are amazing. Worth every penny, you definitely want to check this historic castle out for yourself.

We went for a tour on a beautiful fall morning given by John Lake. He was the butler for Tweet Kimball, the last owner of this spectacular castle and cattle ranch. It was very enjoyable and educational.

My experience with this organzation was very unsatisfactory. I dutifully made reservations and then through an emergency was unable to make the appointed date. I called well in advance to let them know. They would happily RESCHEDULE my reservation but flatly refused to REFUND my money. I paid for this via credit card. It is not like they have to cut and mail check to me. Because I'm so unhappy with their response to my situation I will lose $90 for a tea/tour I will not be able to enjoy. I recommend at all costs that people do NOT bother with this institution.

Very disappointing Christmas tea in 2017. The tour of the castle was lovely but the tea itself was not good. The service was poor we had to repeatedly flag down the server. Approximately half of the food was stale, dry and flavorless. Go for the tour but skip the expensive tea.
