Never worked for the company or did business with them but just enjoyed some ring bologna from this company and it was delicious! Best I've had. Would definitely suggest to anyone.

Everyone in manitowoc seems to filter through here not many stay. Good product, but not ran in a way that attracts decent employees with longevity. .

The company is a nice place to work. The physical work isn't bad, except packing department is in a freezer so if u can't handle the cold dressed properly then it's not for u. Fast past and must have patience and b able to not take others actions or tone personally... as long as it a good worker, ask questions, very observant, and quick to comprehend things u will do great, just keep it about work and do ur very best not to gossip about any thing or ppl. Venting isn't venting there it's gossip/drama. There are a lot of really nice ppl to work with there. 1St shift 6am-3pm. (2nd shift 2pm-11pm only during busy session usually September- November)

wouldn't waste my time doing business with this lopsided excuse for a business i never worked here nor would i or recommend ever doing business with chermake their orders are always late and i don't know who they have as accountants but some how their math never quite added up like everybody else's..
for potential customers~ DON'T!!

Picked up frozen beef 4 pm appt checked in at 2 pm they load me in 30 minutes 40k lb

Horrible place to work. I worked 3rd shift sanitation. All but 2 of us spoke english. They apparently like to hire illegal immigrants. HR told my temp agency they are ending my assignment there because I didn't do what one of the illegals told me to do. I don't speak Spanish and didn't understand what he was saying. It wouldn't matter because he wasn't my supervisor to begin with.

Horrible process for trying to get hired. They are always hiring but obviously the hr department needs to get more skilled at there job. I called to get an update on if they got to my application and was told they are behind by a month on them. That I should go to the temp service to get a job. They won't let you leave a message or even note you called to check. I think the owner needs to can his hr department if a temp agency has to do all there hiring anyways

The only negative ,you have to have sale on empty trailer.

Worked in packaging for 20 years. Lots of hours during busy season. Best dogs, brats and sum sge your gonna find anywhere!

Worked here for 8 years (still do), still eat their products every day I work!
