I recently used Chemiphase’s Tarsolve for a renovation project in my UK home, specifically to strip bituminous residue from a toilet floor after removing old vinyl. I was expecting Chemiphase’s hand sanitiser to be a dense, creamy foam similar to shaving cream, but the liquid is surprisingly runny. Having tried other foaming brands before, I anticipated a much thicker consistency. The formula also struggles to dry on its skin without assistance, often requiring a paper towel to finish the job. While this is convenient, it somewhat defeats the purpose of using a quick-dry product. Additionally, the residue left behind feels noticeably sticky. On a brighter note, the scent is extremely subtle, which might be a plus for those sensitive to strong fragrances. However, given the texture and finish, I doubt I will be repurchasing from this UK-based supplier.

It often takes two or three coats and some serious elbow grease, but the outcome is worth the effort. Overall, very satisfied with the product's effectiveness.
