Chelsea Physic Garden Review

the garden was beautiful even though it was early spring. there was a free guided tour too. really enjoyed it and planning to visit again when it's fully open

We visited this beautiful botanic garden recently. What a lovely place this is. It's perfect if you love plants, gardening or you want to visit somewhere different in London. It is close to the River Thames and across the River is Battersea Park. You can discover interesting plants and their uses, for example plants to make perfumes. Attractions include plant beds, greenhouses, a cafe, gift shop and plenty of benches where you can sit down and admire the views.

It s a beautiful garden tucked away in a side street away from the hustle of Kings road. I was also very amazed by the history and the fact that it has so many varieties of flora and fauna. Must visit!

What a wonderful hidden gem. Make sure you book in a tour at reception, the volunteer guides are incredibly knowledgeable.
The plant are well labelled and arranged beautiful.
Make sure you plan for at least 5 hours you won't be disappointed.

A little gem in the heart of Chelsea. A fantastic lady answered our plant questions and told us to look out for the plant that has totally transformed the treatment of Leukaemia in children located within the medicinal garden section. It is quite amazing to see all these medically life changing plants. Great people. Great cafe. Thankyou. Anne and Maurie

An outstanding little heaven in the middle of London. We are members/friends of Chelsea Physic Garden and visit regularly to enjoy seasonal displays of plants and flowers. The one thing that has recently changed is that the eatery exchanged hands and has become an ordinary franchise cafe rather than the previously catered kitchen with a creative chef.

Was a wonderful visit! Very peaceful. Indeed like a paradise in this fleeting world.

As someone who loves gardening and science I found this place fascinating!

If you're mildly interested I would recommend the visit. There was a little tour which was great and a cafe which made very delicious, fresh, delicate food.

We had our wedding ceremony at the Chelsea Physic Gardens. The staff and service was fantastic. Highly recommended. Thank you Megan for being the best co-ordinator possible :) from a happy couple!
