Filed taxes with CheckSmart and an employee did not know what she was doing. I paid them to mess my taxes up.

The communication sucks. do not ever use them. they will lie and screw you over.

If I could give a lower rating I would. I got pregnant and wasn't able to go in office due to me being high risk and sick. I had HG(hyperemises Gravidarum) and they overdrafted from my account 2 weeks in a row. I couldn't leave my house without medical clearance. Now during my entire miscarriage process I've been trying to call Corp to see if they can pull from my account for the last week. Nobody answers. I can't leave my house. Wth.

SCAM, THEY HAVE A OFFICE WITH 3 OTHER LENDERS THEY CREATED ON THE SAME BUILDING. AVOID THEM INTEREST 450% + FOR 2500 PAYMENT OF 450 A MONTH FOR 24 MONTHS YOU PAY THE INTEREST FIRST!! 5000 THEN YOUR PRINCIPAL FOR 2500.

God forbid something go wrong with your transaction. Horrible customer service, treat you like a criminal. Your bank will cash your money orders! Huntington bank has free accounts. Don t give this company a dime.

A gentleman named Dan definitely does not need to have his job by the way he speaks to people, very nasty attitude and horrible disposition..if he is head of his department that whole part will be doomed..this guy needs to learn how to speak to people.. very very very horrible person

On August 1, 2019 the store manager by the name of dave walked into my place of business and asked about my account in front of me and a trainee. This first off is HARASSMENT AND AGAINST THE LAW!!! I did inform him of this he said he didn't care and kept asking about my debt embarrassing me more and more also infuriating me. He kept continuing on and then as he walked out the door he said "what do i care you are going to collections anyways" This is very unprofessional and clearly against the law. I will NEVER EVER give my business or recommend this place to anyone!!! VERY UNHAPPY AND EMOTIONALLY DISTRESSED. I can't believe checksmart would hire someone like that and promote him to a manager!!!

We talked to them about coming in to refinance and they overdrafted our account!! They just screwed us out of rent and food for our kids!!! If I could rate lower then 1 star I would!!!

They are a credit scam to take advantage of needy people and trap them into a never ending cycle of Loans with extremely high intrest rates, they never report to credit bureaus unless you don't pay them back in full on time.

check smart took my rent and then told me to go somewhere other than them lied about their policies so i wouldn't call back
lucky me im not an idiot and checked up on those policies
will be going to bbb because a business that lies shouldn't be an open business at all.

SCAMMER COMPANY !!!!!! I TRIED FOR A TAX ADVANCE WITH THEM. AND THEY DENIDED ME OF IT DUE TO MY CREDIT EVEN THROUGH IRS APPROVED OF THEM !! THEY KEPT MESSING UP MY PAPER WORK AND WHERE I GOT TO TO THE SAME PLACE 4X JUST TO BRING IN EXTRA DOCUMENTS THAT WASNT EVEN USED !!! $400 DOLLARS OUT OF MY STATE WHEN THE CHECK ALL TOGETHER WAS $600. I FEEL LIKE IF THEY WERE GOING BASED OFF CREDIT THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE CHECKED BEFORE I FILD WITH THEM TO SEE IF I WOULD GET APPROVED OR NOT !!!! NEVER GOING TO THEM AGAIN !!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY !!!

Major crooks this company is.They said I did not pay h $200 loan to them.I have asked them to review the footage from the store,and they stated they would do that.This was in April or May.Since then I have spoke with so many different people each with conflicting stories.I have health issues and damn sure don't need this stress in my life.Now the latest is I spoke with someone from corporate on 06.04.19 and they stated the issue has been resolved and I don't owe.I asked for a letter or email to that effect.
The lady said give us a couple days and give us a call back.Why can't i get this now?Another excuse.Now here comes another call on 06.20.19 asking if I would like to settle this account now.WHAT !!!!!!! ????? I said the one I spoke with on 06.04.19 that it had been settled but Mrs 06.20.19 said no it has not been settled that they only gave you an adjustment.and took off $110 but now the dollar amount has gone from $240 to $ 300 and something.What a insult to my intelligence.This is to much.Simply too much,that a company is putting a person through all of this. When I reloaned the money each month it was never an issue.But since I didn't get a reloan,they said I didn't pay it. This is totally an unprofessional way to run a billion dollar company.They don't deserve one star but in order to post this I had to do that.Go figure.
