Come have a drink and watch the ocean on the front veranda. It's a perfect place to grab a cocktail at the end of the day with your loved ones and it's family friendly. During the summer the place gets packed during the early evening. Other than that the property is truly something special: make sure to go down to the pool and rent out a cabana.

The vibe is classical and beachy. The staff is super nice. We were waiting on a line to check in and the staff offered complimentary drinks and snacks. The room is cozy and move views. Lastly, must check out the spa.

Cocktails and beers were great. Views / location are fantastic. Still seemed like they were getting everything set up for the season on Memorial Day weekend, slightly slow service at a less than packed outdoor area.

Went for a sunset cocktail with friends, waited 45 minutes at our space for a dfink - didn't wait for another. Lovely space and view - service a bit lacking. (Wine list also not available upon request? Bizarre)

Actively staying here now! I wanted to love this weekend getaway from the city but the frustrations of Covid just followed us here. The hotel seems understaffed (a couple employees confirmed) and under prepared to accommodate the number of people staying here. The hotel has great amenities... if you can get them. My husband and I paid for the included breakfast, but found that they were overbooked for breakfast even though they don t take reservations. In the end, after a lot of complaining, they sat us inside for breakfast, which made us uncomfortable but we were hungry and just wanted to eat. They tried to tell us there is a grab and go breakfast, but that line had to be at least a 30 minute wait. My food finally came, and there was a huge hair in it! We tried to get beach chairs and an umbrella the first day, and found that there was a 40 minute wait list. Our travel agent told us we had early check in, but didn t get a room til almost 3 (ps check in is at 4pm). We tried to make reservations to eat at the restaurants and found that even for lunch we couldn t get a reservation for the weekend. Long story short, if you want to escape for a weekend getaway in the age of covid, rent an Airbnb. For the cost of a room per night, and the short supply of reservations, and availability of the amenities, I don t recommend.

*Adding to this review: sitting on the beach and asked for some water. Was told, I m sorry we ran out of water. The super sweet server was so apologetic and brought us some ice. Also, I am surprised by the number of guest walking around by the pool or on the paths to the pool that are NOT wearing masks.
