Bubble bad defect and bad connection tv but impeccable cleanliness

I spent one night and frankly not too disappointed just the pool can be a little too small for as many rooms if the service very polite and smiling

The buffet breakfast was cold. It would be nice to make a small commercial gesture.
Otherwise the super attentive staff.

Hotel good, Spar and fitness area adequate but without flair. Restaurant very confusing, that means, you will find nowhere else what is offered. Very bad: they take 50euro deposit for any special services which you could take. Does not work.

Nice venue situated close to an idyllic lake. The interior is clean and well maintained. Food and drinks are good and freshly made.

We are generally satisfied with our overnight stay at your property, but some details did not please us. We had a drink on the indoor terrace, smoking area, and the seats and table were really dirty, covered with ashes and we even changed places. In the room, the handle of the window was ready to fall, so unscrewed, the badly cleaned bedside table with resistant traces of the previous customer ... and then disappointed also by the breakfast, with products that one finds in all chain hotels. We would have enjoyed a more local breakfast, homemade, with products more terroir and corresponding with the price, the standing of the hotel and the setting ... shame! We still appreciated the offer offering the late checkout at 14h and the access of 2 hours to the fitness. In summary, a beautiful establishment that deserves to be more picky about the details that are important, for us anyway.

Very over my stay when I hear 5 stars I expect a wonderful aspect it was beyond what we could have imagined it is very sad when we want to go as a couple we expect that we can take a bath jacuzzi in room together it was every one of our turns bath too hard and bubble even my husband makes the best bubbles with these fart;) very dirty room when we arrived I had dust everywhere as if this room had been forgotten For years the internet was rotten we did not know what to connect no access to the swimming pool or to the sport the empty fridge no soft nothing luckily I had taken from the house bedding I will define her as the beauty and the tramp a spaghetti for 2 grrr
And to finish for lunch it was disgusting and very reduced I am sorry to say it but I would not come anymore and I do not order it again.

Very nice hotel, polite and cordial hostesses. The suites are very beautiful and modern, with flat screen tv, nespresso, very comfortable king size bed. (provide earplugs for people sensitive to noise: the ventilation works continuously and makes a slight but noticeable noise, unfortunately we do not know how to cut it (even by removing the power key)). pleasant and relaxing, again very polite and cordial staff. Buffet lunch with pastries, hot, corn flakes, ... very complete. Only downside ... during our stay the swimming pool and one of the sauna (hammam?) Were out of order (nothing had been communicated to us on this subject).

For the price of the night I was expecting different .. The room we were given was already busy, suddenly one of the people at the reception felt obliged finally to offer me his help for luggage ... Why not before ?! Room with dust supplement as well as part of the bar ready for 3 vases along the banquettes. Bath with massage jet that has never worked .. Restaurant side a bottle ordered never brought. (Full details for a 5 star would never have happened!) And the drop that broke the camel (no pun intended.) The spa accessible 2 hours per day. is not included in your stay count 30 euros for a scam ... The pool must 15m square jacuzzi 4 people max otherwise it is on the lap of the neighbor that you will finish. 2 hammams, one of which did not work ... And I stop the .... In short thanks the Belgians ....

Scheduled 3 months before, booked twice by telephone for the stay. Was promised to receive a confirmation e-mail, did not receive e-mail after 2 weeks and 5 days. I contacted myself by telephone, I was casually informed by the operator that there was no booking from me and the hotel is fully booked this weekend. For the same effort we had driven 150 km on Saturday to be told that our booking had not been passed on. I hope you NEVER get 1 more guest over. You don't deserve a single star.

An excellent business hotel, well equipped with a gym and pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Beautiful surroundings in terms of the lake, close to the small Genval town and the E411 highway. Restaurant and room service are very good, minibar well stocked and a fairly late opening bar area.

Beautiful hotel. A beautiful reception with very friendly and welcoming receptionists. Room very spacious and very well equipped. We even had a drink at the bar, which was not normally included in our booking. The breakfast was scrumptious with a good selection and very convenient opening hours. The spa is very relaxing as well as private massages that we can do a couple in the same room. The gym is also very well equipped with even group classes. Only small negative point, the building left of the castle that is a little stain.

Hello, I ate very well at the Chateau du Lac this Saturday night. What brings me to this site is the hidden price of aperitifs ...
I find it very petty, I explain myself, my companion and I ordering a Campari and a Picon (implied in white wine), I guess it is not drunk alone ... Price 6.50 the glass

The hotel is in a great location with the lake.
The rooms are clean.
The restaurant is at the top and the lunch too.
The staff are welcoming.
The spa is a bit small.

We got the nights as a social deal. Maybe it was also because our room was big but also very dark and you could only see a hedge through a small window. We are now not so experienced with 5 star hotels, but found it strange to see stains on the carpet, mold on the joints of the bathtub with whirlpool function and broken out joints on the bathroom tiles. Breakfast was ok but again it was fairly simple. The yogurt had expired, for example, and we did not see that the out of stock was added. With English you don't get anywhere in the hotel ..... The spa area was small but pleasant, but here too everything looked very calcified. The surrounding area is really beautiful, the lake is ideal for a walk and the hotel is very well lit in the evening. There was a lot of rubbish around the hotel, but the hotel has only limited influence. If you are traveling with a stroller or wheelchair you can get everywhere, but you have to take a lot of ways (e.g. first go to the 2nd floor, walk to the rear elevator and then walk back all the way on the 1st floor)

The hotel fits in nicely with it's surroundings and the lake creates a wonderful atmosphere. I'm sure after things get back to normal after Corona it will be one big joy to experience the hotel's amenities. We wanted to have a corona safe and pleasant stay and after seeing the pictures and website I expected 'a 5 star hotel' experience. The room we had was nicely decorated and spacious but it was dusty and the shower had mold in 4 areas. There was a 15 cm stain on the couch that didn't make it really inviting to sit on. We chose a 120 euro complementary room service dinner. This was a disappointing example of what a good chef could have come up with. This 'margin friendly menu' consisted of two asparagus with some filling, 0.5 medium sized 'chicken' filet (no idea what the yellow poultry was) and and 9 raspberries on some dough. The 'yellow bird' was having raw pink parts inside. My wife called but the 'chef' apparently snug out around dinner time and there was nothing else they could do about it. We did get 20 euro back but that's no way compensating to the hungry night we had.

Besides filling myself up with the little basket of bread I did feel very hungry afterwards. The mini fridge was dirty and empty! After mentioning this (nice and friendly person) - Corona was the escape card. I could call for a snicker or a bottle of water. Seriously ? I would have perfectly fine paying 25 euro in snacks to have it at my disposal. At least then I wouldn't be going to bed hungry. In Germany this hotel would be have 3 stars without mold and a filled fridge. I would like to see what's going on with this hotel after Corona.

Despite the covid measures had a pleasant stay. The tongs at breakfast are a smart way to still be able to do the buffet.

I bought a good Groupon to know this place. The setting is beautiful, the reception very smiling but no one to guide you.
The price of the voucher for the access of one day was more than 44 euros for 2 people it was not worth at all. disappointed

Did not spend the night there, a wine tasting organized by Schenk. Super friendly staff. A warm welcome. Super good food and drink, tasted delicious wines. All in all well taken care of by Schenk, Chapeau!

Superb and modern hotel.The cozy room is spacious furnished with taste and very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool and spa are as beautiful and clean. In the hotel there are sofas everywhere or to rest to relax in peace with without forgetting a sight on the superb lake. In the restaurant the staff perfectly describes the dishes and wines and we advise according to our desires.

Pool and spa .. hs during our week. Otherwise nothing to complain about; very good time as a couple.

Fairly comfortable, by a lake and in the woods of Belgium. Not an easy ride from Brussels. Possibly priced according to the area but rather pricey for my liking and use of the swimming pool doesn't come with the steep Euro 140 per More
