They have an inability to hear when speaking to them. They keep talking and don't stop. I was transferred to a "manager", who strangely was cut off. I dialed again and couldn't get through to anyone who knew anything. They appear to be crooked "debt collectors". They are trying to collect money from me for Verizon. I have 3 consecutive statements from Verizon, showing that Verizon owed me the money. I also have a photocopy of the check and the check stub that Verizon sent to me. I asked them to send to me a valid bill from Verizon that show that I owe the amount being claimed. The idiots didn't seem to understand. Either Chase Receivables is crooked - OR - Verizon is crooked!!
I received a call saying John muir sent a bill to collections from 2 years ago. I told them I remember the visit and paid already. They told me to call John muir. I did John muir billing says they don't work with "chase receivables" and then confirmed I paid the bill that this "debt collector" was calling about. I called them back once I told them that John muir told me they don't work with chase receivables the lady on the phone straight started yelling at me. When I brought up I wanted a bill sent to my home as California law says I can request. The lady freaked out again and told me to just use the website address she was about to send me. I said no thank you please send me mail. She hung up on me. SCAM.
