Finally, time is up for this pathetic excuse of a law school. They are closed and the website is down. It was always only about the money and they were paid many tens of millions of dollars of federal money paid by students who will now have to live with the stigma of having graduated from Charlotte School of Law, in addition to the high likelihood that they may never be able to pass the bar or, if they do manage to pass, get a job with any real meaning making any real money. It's criminal how they've taken advantage of so many students who may never financially recover from this, being hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. I can only hope something can or will be done about this.

I completed 67 credit hours at this school. Then the dept. of education alleged fraud and denied federal funding on December 19th. We were all blindsided days before Christmas. The school made serious misrepresentations about bar passage rates and post graduation employment. With the denial of federal funding and private financing being offered FROM the fraudulent company that owns our school I had little choice but to withdraw. I only had 23 hours remaining and no school in the nation will take all of my hours. They left us in an unfortunate situation.

The anonymous 5 star reviews are probably staff members. The other positive reviews are not what real people write about. They sound like they are basically statements from PR departments. Read the news articles about the school. They pay for you not to take the bar and have the worst passage rate. It's atrocious

is there anything less than 0 stars? Started out slow, and turned into a diploma mill. They are a for-profit law school, emphasis on the profit. It will cost 150k and you will be looked down upon for having graduated from an institution of such ill repute. It will be almost impossible to take the traditional legal path as you compete with students from Duke, UNC and Wake. You will be relegated to non-traditional/possible public service routes with a soul crushing amount of student loan debt. Do something/anything else with your money and the next three years.

This school has been slated by the ABA and USDOE for closing for defrauding students. Whatever you do not attend this school. Their 1L curve is set very low- D+ - to ensure students have a hardtime transferring. They do an atrocious job at preparing their students for the bar and then blame them when they do not pass it. Their attrition level is over 55% and so they try to counter that by sabotaging students so they would be unable to or too discouraged to even attempt to transfer. Their ABA accreditation is in danger of being removed. Their ranking is almost last out all law schools in the US. If you attend this school you are going to be saddled with nearly 150k in non dischargeable debt and not much to show for.

Also, the school routinely have staff members post positive reviews. All around very questionable school.

This school sucks, don't go to any schooled owned & operated by InfiLaw like Florida Coastal Law School or Arizona Summit Law School. The school is run by greedy self-serving people who care nothing about the students they accept, or about the education they provide or their ability or rather inability to prepare to students for the BAR exam. Because of this school's fraudulent actions and greed, I am having to re-do the past 2 years of my law school career b/c schools will only accept 30 credits for transfer and to think I was only a semester away from graduating before the DOE revoked our funding.

Let's see, it's extraordinarily expensive law school which couldn't exist if it weren't for federally funded student loans so that gullible students could pay the for profit law school rates; and just over half the graduates are passing the bar exam, and a fraction getting real full time jobs that require a law degree and you're strapped with enormous student debt of $125K to $260K for the rest of your life along with impaired credit. What a deal! Scam R It.

I love this law school! The professors teach you how to practice law just as you would in your actual career. Like most educational institutions, you get back as much as you put in! I'm so glad that I chose Charlotte School of Law!

In my conversations with many Charlotte School of Law students and graduates, most have come to see their decision to attend CSOL as one of the worst financial mistakes of their lives.
