A Denver tradition for decades! Charlie Brown's has been serving food and drinks for over fifty years. This place had great cocktails, good wine and beer choices oddly no berrs on tap...especially odd in Denver where craft brews are king, but that's a mid to the classic bar this is). The food is likewise very tasty. Sometimes in the summer they will hold special events like whole pig roasts. The outside dining area is a nice place to spend a warm summer evening.

The food is awful, and the service is too! Save your money!but they have a beautiful bar and live piano player and sometimes we all sing along, nice outdoor patio too!

The Gyro sandwich was delicious but the onion rings took it to the next level

Charlie Brown's is a Denver classic. Old hotel bar ambience and often live piano music and sing-alongs make it a nice change of pace from most bars in Denver. The food and drinks are or good too!

I found this on a google search for "quirky bars" in Denver. It's a cute little piano bar and it feels kinda homey. Will definitely be going back soon!

We had a fantastic time at this Piano Bar/lounge this weekend. Our table was blown away with the Michael Jackson covers and homely treatment we received. The stakes were perfect as well! Go!

I love this place. Seriously. Their Greek custard desert makes me beyond happy and their smoking allowed patio is always extremely clean and full of smiling folks. Yay!

Smoking patio is the best! Service is unpredictable as they seem to have a high turnover. Food is decent.

How can you miss at this place. Great food, prices $ very fair, good service. Warning on weekends go before or after game time if you want to have a conversation. Did I mention that breakfast are great.

The wait staff and management were extremely rude and unaccomidating. I honestly have never been treated so rudely by a waiter. Food was good, but for $13 I absolutely expect more then one layer of chips for my nachos. And when I asked my waiter for some more chips, he just wanted t poo argued with me and insult me. I would have complained to the manager, but he was an even bigger snob then the waiter. The ONLY reason I give any stars is the bloody Mary's were delicious and the atmosphere was nice.

Walked in, looked around for someone who worked here - nobody to be found. Stood there like an idiot for several minutes and then just left. WTF? Are you supposed to seat yourself? Is someone supposed to serve you? Definitely did not feel welcome here.

Charlie Browns is pure and simple old school cool. Inside a dimly lit bar with a piano in the corner gives the impression of living in a different decade. The outside patio is large and comfortable with heat lamps and roll up barriers so you can feel the breeze.

I haven't missed a birthday here yet. And be sure to make sure the pianist knows it's your birthday for some incredible memories. Highly recommended... but not too much. Don't crowd the place.

This is my neighborhood bar. It's neither beautiful, nor classy. It doesn't sport a fancy selection of wine or liquor, and the food is just so-so.

But that's not what I go for.

Charlie Brown's has a live piano player every night of the week from 6pm-1am, and these guys are GOOD. They can play in just about any style, and they invite you to sit up at the piano and sing with them. If you like to sing or even just to listen, you won't regret a visit.

This place has great cheese sticks! The menu is very diverse. They have Greek plates, Mexican food, pizza... a little bit of everything! Birthday friends get a $30 tab on the house! The piano players are always great! Awesome classic vibe. Jack Kerouac and Neal Cassidy used to hang out here. Enjoy the history!

Patrick is the most amazing keyboard player and makes the night so fun. It's like live karaoke. The service was great even though the place was packed.

The bar itself is average. But they make darn good cheeseburgers. It's not unusual for me to go get a burger from Charlie Brown's and then go to another bar to actually eat it.

Spiders, literally everywhere. Called my favorite percussionist a"dude", then upgraded to "bud" and totally redeemed himself.

Good food, good drinks, but a limited beer selection. There is a piano in the back where customers play songs that the crowd sings along to, making a pretty neat atmosphere after hours.

I love Charlie Browns! Love the happy house and I especially I love Charlie Browns on Mondays, Thursdays & Friday s 6-9pm when John is playing the piano.

Service was great! Food is mediocre! Ordered the steak burrito twice, forgetting how awful it was the time before! You get charred chunks of burnt meat or atleast I hope so! They make a decent regular steak, but apparently have little culinary elegance to use it in their burrito! Leave the Mexican cuisine to a place not named after the least ethnic name in town!

Well, the atmosphere is the only reason I gave it two stars instead of one. Great local scene, but terrible service, awful food, and watered down drinks made by bartenders who couldnt care less.

Charlie Brown's is a great family-friendly restaurant whose staff and management work together to welcome their neighboring clientele. The food and service is consistently really good and worth giving it a try more than once.

A great bar and restaurant in so many ways! They actually appreciate their patrons. They work hard to produce a good product, and have been doing so for decades. Hard to find a comparable experience.

It's a great Neighborhood watering hole with a piano sing along. Very diverse crowd, all walks welcome. Looks like they have good food too. Plenty of seats at tables, the bar is snug. Friendly staff, cozy feels. The Russian bar manager has got to go though. He is nosey and loves acting like a bouncer.

Chill and relaxing place on a cold winter nite. A little smokey for some who prefer not to be around cigarettes/cigars. But overall great atmosphere

Calamari was a bit chewy. Drinks were expensive. The nachos appetizer plate and the queso were both great though!

The piano being part of the bar and anyone can sing along while someone is playing is just a piece of how awesome this place is. Food and drinks were fantastic. Charlie Browns is a true gem.

what can I say about this place it s still the same after all these years. if you re looking for Something like the ViewHouse or punch bowl social go somewhere else. this place is for the old-school and I love it still. People complain about the food but there are so many menu choices you ll always find something that suits your fancy

You have to really like a place like this. Old er, slow moving, and a mix of all types of food. The place is open late and the service is friendly. Plan to chill.

Expensive, classic and awesome. It's a little quiet early in the evening and you can have a good conversation with your group. The piano bar is really classy and it gets noisier add the night goes on.

If you like cigarettes, meat and cocktails this is your spot. Great steaks, reasonably priced drinks, amazing late night happy hour. Only thing is their BBQ sauce is gross!!

We had a huge party last week, 10+ people last week and Sam served us on the patio. He was awesome! His hair was flawless and he made our night.

We are in town for the week and couldn't be happier that we found this place! It's one of the few places in the city that you can smoke on the patio.

$3 brunch drinks and food is large in quantity and amazing in flavor. French toast are so good. Everyones food looked amazing! Now a regular on sundays in the outdoor patio with friends ;)

Good food, chill and casual atmosphere for sunday breakfast

It's good for what it is, but usually a sub-par experience with underpaid wait staff, a smoking patio, rotating cloth hand dryers, and other much less needed relics from the past. Still, having many great relics from the past can also make it an interesting experience. This is a great place to sulk if you're into a live, song-along piano bar and extremely dim lighting no matter what time of day, for example. The patio, contributing much less to the experience inside, is well suited for smoking, drinking, and games featuring local teams, only a small segment of which can open up to the sky. This makes it more appropriate in the winter than the summer, or for smoking while drinking in cold seasons. The food is diverse and definitely in the upper end of most North American comfort foods, such as steak, burritos, pizzas, and burgers, and pairs well with several watered down mystery "bartender's choice" shots.

With a nice food selection and an array of different drinks to choose from this place is a bit of a Hotspot. Their location makes them easy to find tho they have select parking. They can be pricy but if you aren't on a budget it can be a fun place for a get together with friends.
