Hours waiting and never was helped, saw bed bugs on items that were going out. Was told to just wash they will be gone. Not always true

They have a very nice gift store, very friendly staff. They also do great stuff for the community . Free clothes , coats gloves , new outfits for underprivlaged kids for school. Cant say enough good things about this place.

Nice place to get free items. They have clothes, shoes, toys, dishes, bedding, movies, music and books. They also except vouchers for work boots and certain work clothes like hospital scrubs. They also have handmade items and crafts for sell. This is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people in need. Every year, they have a coat drive for school aged children. Very organized. The workers are helpful and very nice.

The single stars for the Commonwealth A.K.A For you reading. Very small selection of men's clothing. The women's clothing is sufficient. But this is 100% donation and volunteer establishment. Keep reading if you'd like to help contribute through ideas. ( A side note for Mgmt on how you could drastically improve your establishment) I applaud what it is you guys are doing and represent. However, your lack of advertisement. Is the main anchor on your ability to achieve your Noble and altruistic goals. As it stands it greatly helps those in desperate need. However, no one knows this place exists. Getting the word out will bring more and diverse donations. Also, getting the message to people who need this places accommodating charitable gifts. You have the ability to drastically benefit the whole area. I hope you find the constructive criticism with in this.

Best thrift store in Battle Creek. Also they are very community service oriented!

It's nice that people donate nice stuff to help out people that are on fixed incomes thank you that's your things at the store helps me out when I do find things I could use

The woman who checked me out was rude and made me feel worthless and unworthy to be at charitable union I will not shop there again I am not racist but from my experience in less you are a minority you dont deserve respect or compassion.

I volunteered at this organization and enjoyed helping out with what they needed. They have good quality clothing for the entire family. They have new and used in good conditions. Every person needs to contact the charitable union to some much needed items.

Such an awesome place doing good things and the staff are wonderful! Always good deals tp be found and all profits going to a good cause. Their handmade items are so nice.

Kind and helpful front desk ladies. An older lady there was a bit snippy and rude though. She needs more people skills.

The charitable union is a great place for people to come that are in need of clothing and small house hold items. We help everyone who has a referral or a bridge card or a medical card and the homeless. We also help fire victims. Everything that charitable union has is donated. There is two parts of the building, one side is the free store where the clothing,small house hold items,books, and such and then the other side is the gift shop where we have a sewing shop and homemade items and some of the donated thing that are in good condition that are cleaned and sold to buy items need for the free store that don't get donated. In the sewing area the volunteers make all kinds of wonderful things like potholders, potatoe bags, bowl cozies, big foot pillows, little foot pillows, MI pillows, and quilts. I think everyone should stop by just to see what is there....

This place has clothing and bedding and more. Please donated to the Charitable Union. They do provide a great service to the Battle Creek community.

Even though the store is to help people they don't have a good selection of clothes like they used to but all in all it's ok

Rosa is a wonderful lady, she is very welcoming and they do a good jog making you feel comfortable and I also got a referral for a pair of nice steel toe boots!!!

Great Service will help you with Work Stell toed Boots

I went there to check out their quilts. They have a large selection that they hand make on site. Reasonably priced, too. When I stopped the shop was full of Christmas stuff, two rooms full.

I don't normally have a problem. My only problem is people taking things from volunteers before items can be put on shelf. That allows no one a chance to look. I have times of 1 bag or 3 bags.

The handcrafted items are wonderful and inexpensive for quilts. Highly recommend

Good place to go if you need go clothes. More for women and children. Not a good selection for men.

The staff are very kind and compassionate. Never do they make me feel bad for getting help when I need it. They have many wonderful programs to help get people back on their feet.

This is the best place for free that u could get things or help getting thing u need on the daily that u need but can not afford to buy

Charitable Union has a Gift Shop whose hours are posted on the Google display and a Free Store where clients can shop for needed items. Hours for Free Store are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00am to 4:00pm and 2nd Saturday of the month 9:00am to 1:00pm. A referral is needed to use the Free Store. Serving Calhoun County Michigan since 1887.

They almost had what I needed I needed more than one shirt but I got what I needed to get released to church on Sunday
