A little too busy for a perfectly quiet place to study, but the atmosphere is very relaxing. They have local artists come in to play music and share original compositions every Tuesday night, which, in my opinion, is an essential part of visiting Newberg.

I viaited this place for the first time. I was rudly approached by a staff member telling me I had to ware a mask despite telling her i have a medical exemption the staff insisted I could not stay. I was very upset. I have never been told to leave a business due to discrimination against my medical condition. This business will not have my business again.

Excellent selection of children's and all genres of all books new and used. Serves Big Train chai and a vast array of loose teas as well as coffees. Remodeling is gorgeous undertaking by the Main Street USA organization... wow! Also a kids play room bonus!

Chapters is a family-run bookstore that invests a lot of care in its staff, store and customers. The owner cares a lot about the youth in the community, too.

This bookstore/coffee house is popular amongst the university crowd, but continues to stay busy even when school is not in session. It is a popular meeting place and a good place to study or just relax on one of the plush sofas. It's also cool to go in and see see artwork displayed from local talent.

Unless things have changed, Chapters buys and sells used books. They also sell new books that are primarily faith-based.

Chapters combines coffee, books, and a great space to chill, work, or meet up. There are quite a few tables, with a fair amount of plug in options along the walls. Couches in the middle offer a cozy feel, and there are plenty of books to browse and purchase. The baristas are quick, friendly and helpful, and the options for drip coffee rotate, but they seem to always have a selection.

What a delightful and charming place. I picked out a book for me and one for my kid. I had a nice conversation with the baristas about Tolkien's writing while they made me a great tasting espresso, and a caramel steamer for the boy. Just a lovely place overall that made me feel better about the world.

Small local book store with free wifi, a barista, and local ice cream in a cool historic brick building. I found a favorite paperback book in the used section, in mint condition, that's now out of print, for only $2!

Stopped in for ice cream. It's homemade and really different flavors. Mostly made with extracts from flowers. Like Honeysuckle, Rose, Saffron and so on They will let you taste before you buy too. Settled on chocolate and stuff. Was very good and not overly high priced.

Excellent smoothies, and a good variety of coffee choices. The aesthetic of the place is very nice, and the whole building is very roomy with plenty of tables and chairs to use for studying or to sit and chat at. They even have a couple of couches to sit on. Lots of great books to look at and buy, everything is organized and displayed in a pleasant way. They have a community open-mic music night every other Tuesday which is really great.

Nice lirtle local coffee and new or used book store . They did a big remodel this summer and it made the facade more attractive and the interior more roomy. My wife and I stopped here on first Friday in January when the shops closed down to warn up. Ended up getting a kids book to take home called Wonky Donkey. The kids love it.

I've always loved this place. Chapters is a quiet little coffee and book shop right off of College Street in Newberg. There are typically indie tunes running in the background, which are nice listens on the ears for those who enjoy that certain genre. They serve Stumptown coffee here, and a variety of other local coffees like Caravan, and it's easily the best coffee I've had in the area. The baristas are all very friendly as well. All in all, if you need good coffee, Chapters is the place to go!

We love this coffee shop! It has a kids room with books & toys. I order a kids hot chocolate, small coffee, & a biscotti and it cost me $5. We frequently visit here & definitely recommend too anyone. FYI there is no changing table in the bathroom.

Chapters brews a mean tea, as well as rich roasted coffee. The industrial/historic/modern building (did I leave out art deco) provides a lovely aura in which to sip and read, or write your own book! The inventory is not large, but well picked, and when I asked staff to order a book they readily agreed and had it there in days. So, why wouldn't I love this shop? Oh, and the VERY best thing? It's an independent bookstore. Don't want to lose this in my community. (Down with Internet mega-stores!)

5 stars as long as you consider it to be q coffee and tea place and not a bookstore.

Book selection is held back by the fact that there's effectively no book organization other than splitting up between age groups.

Great tea and coffee selection, prices not too high. Obviously very popular with college kids looking for a place to study but has a large enough seating area it's not a problem. Looks like they put an effort into having lots of interesting events.

Start your weekend morning here, with a cup fresh brew and a book, or a friend, or just sit and contemplate as 99 hwy flows by at 25mph. Great place to meet strangers, catch up on your social media and even ... do some work.
