Chaplane have just completed cosmetic work on one of my vehicles. Having used them before and being delighted with the results, the work completed this time was to the same exceptional standard. I was unfortunately involved in a collision in my brand new Nissan 370z. It involved a large articulated lorry coming into contact with my car multiple times causing devastating damages to my new car. I was worried that this could have written my car off.
Chaplane was the recommended repair shop by my insurance company, and was happy to go proceed with them following their good reviews on multiple platforms.
They took on a big project with this repair. It involved sourcing a large number of rare or no longer manufactured parts, repairing a rare car for which they likely hadn't worked on before.
I was given a very nice 20 plate courtesy car, one that I had to keep for many months due to the long lead times sourcing the parts from Nissan, most of which likely had to be shipped from Japan or the Far East.
I was kept up-to-date with progress on the car, which although slow at first because of the lack of parts, progressed quickly considering the complexity of the repairs. Communications via email and phone were really good and I could always get a hold of someone to ask questions, thank you to Caroline and Paul. The text message updates were perhaps a bit brief and obscure as I wasn't familiar with the industry terminology and process, ETA updates would have probably been better - although I do not find too much fault in this thanks to what came later.
Towards the end I was given a final ETA on when the car would be ready about a week prior, which was met. The quality of the repairs was stunning, hard to imagine that I am looking at the same car.
I did raise a few (very minor) issues soon after picking up the car. Lloyd was straight on the case and was very quick in rectifying any problems, amazing service. One of the problems was a nail in the brand new replacement tyres. Chaplane didn't even stutter when they offered to have this repaired at no cost to me, everything was sorted in the matter of a day. It felt like they really had my interests at heart.
Many thanks to everyone that worked on my car and dealt with my enquiries during the months that my car was in your shop. I am very thankful that I am able to enjoy the 370z again. I hope I never have to use Chaplane again, but if I do I would know that I will be in safe hands.
Chaplane looked after my Range Rover after another company undertook "substandard" work. Chaplane very much under promised and over delivered taking half the time to complete the work (paint removal) and cost me less than the quote while loaning me a courtesy car! Absolutely fantastic! Would easily recommend to anyone! Great to see a family run business doing well in these uncertain times!

Absolutely top quality job done on my Alfa Romeo Giulia by the guys at Chaplane Accident Repair Centre Ltd... Right from the first meeting with Paul where the damage was assessed, it was clear that Chaplane was the right place to have the work done, any questions asked being answered reassuringly. The helpfulness and friendliness of Caroline and everyone in the office was second to none, keeping me informed throughout. And finally the end result, perfect workmanship and the car cleaned inside as well as out showed everything was done with care... I couldn't be happier, thanks Chaplane.
I have just had my VW Polo in at chaplane for a repair. The car looked like new after they had finished with it.
From day one they were great, they ran me through the whole process and sorted everything out. I was regularly kept up to date and received frequent messages and a phone call to tell me when my car would be ready for collection. I was provided with a courtesy car so I could still get to and from work. The repair was excellent and I could not even see where the work had taken place.
I would definitely use chaplane again, especially as they are a VW Approved Body Repairer.

28-04-21 - Just had our Black Mercedes GLA Valeted by Chaplane (Gold Wash). Absolutely amazing, best that it has looked. Will definitely be using this service again, and exploring the other treatments offered by Chaplane. Again, would highly recommend.
Having had a TP drive into the back of my car Chaplane were recommended by my dealership. Caroline was helpful and courteous throughout and, despite Christmas and covid, the repair was complete within the timescale given and to an excellent quality, dare I say better than new. The fit and finish is better than the manufacturer. Happy to recommend and, should the occasion arise we will use again.
Fantastic company, really welcoming and personable. receptionist is lovely, and Lloyd has taken care of me twice. Once when my car was written off needing repair and my insurance company sent me to them. this was two years ago.
I returned yesterday to get my wing mirror replaced and painted. Great job, great customer care and will retain my custom for sure. See you in the spring for a treatment on my car which I've forgotten...think its mop and wax, to buff out scratches and give my car a lovely shine again.

From the start of the process I was confident that my car would be in good hands. I was not disappointed, the driver who delivered my courtesy car and took my car away was amazing. A very kind and professional man with a friendly ear! I received a call when my car arrived at the repair centre as there was some unrelated issues with my car that they offered to sort out for me at a competitive price. I was kept up to date via text and phone call on the progress of the repair. Despite some additional work they still got my car back to me when they said they would. Absolutely fantastic service and would recommend without hesitation. Thank you to a wonderful bunch !
