Fantastic reception. Lovely clean living environment. Didn t like the TV in the room, and the DStv wasn t clear, but I m not a tv person. Food was great. Always on time (or no more than 10 minutes late). I was too tired to checkout the pool and gym, but they have those.... and a conference area.
Nice environment, in the heart of town. Also, good meals.
Just had a glance from the outside, it seems to be nice.

Service is terrible. Rooms are in a disastrous conditions. Breakfast is unenjoyable. The entire Hotel screams for renovation. From outside is looking like fashioned but inside..... a nightmare!!!!!

Was actually in the Mayfair lounge(locayed inside the hotel)and not the hotel itself. Was not overly pleased with the place. First is the small size then the air conditioning is not too good. Then the toilet was a complete off. The management would do well to improve on these issues. On the other hand, the music was good and drinks were cold. Parking space is average

I loved my stay. The gym though small and lack adequate equipment,the instructor was on point. The kitchen excellent, room service horrible.

The best things about this place are the food, the friendliness of the staff and the sense of security.
The elevator worked for half a day of the 3 that I stayed there ( good news if you are trying to increase your step count- I did 4 flights of stairs many times a day). The laundry could be better- "clean" towels and sheets had stains on them despite a fresh smell, the air conditioner was unreliable despite a maintenance visit. Overall, good intentions by management but no ? will ( or maybe funds) to make it better?
The rooms are big you have everything withi n the hotel. Swimming pool, club and a bar.
The only issue is things need repairing.

It's a nice and beautiful place, have a lounge , poolside bar and so many other attractions. Just like everywhere in this country you need to be a little more careful, though there is minimal security but theft of personal stuff occurs often.

Outside the hotel looks great...but some maintenance is really needed on the inside. Changing of sheets especially.

Channel View hotel can be described as hospitality at one of its best in Calabar. Good meals, receptive staff, clean environment; but their elevator failed to work, a couple of times, prompting my family and I, taking a long walk in the stairs. In all, it's a nice place to be.
The rooms are spacious and clean. The only snag is that I had to walk to the reception twice to request for hangers and toiletries.
I have no words...let's just say I was disappointed in more ways than one.
