Excellent Experience: the Best food, Great music every night, Great Service!!! It is the Best in Boise!!!

Spelling errors on the menu. Inexcusable in a high end place!

Great food and great service at a price above the food quality.

In the past six months I have gone to Chandlers twice and order a steak medium rare and it came out well done. Chandlers you are better than. Not good.

Over priced for what you get. Also the servers act like they are better than you. If your table is appropriately chatting and joking with you its ok to smile. Match your customer.

Awesome experience. I had a manhattan cocktail before dinner and it was so good I had a second. Dinner was surf and turf which was excellent. Service is great as well. Definately will be back!

Not Hotel 43 nor Chandler's websites mentions the steakhouse is temporarily closed! I went way out of my way to book a night there to eat and relax there. AFTER checking in and getting my key they tell me it's closed and that there's dinning within walking distance. That defeats the whole point if my choosing Hotel 43! AND they know it. They do it on purpose to get hotel bookings. I canceled my room and went to The Grove. Their restaurant was open.

My wife and I dined here for valentine's day 2015 and the service was ok but the steak was flavorless. They served the steaks with "dipping sauces" that were ok but became dull as the meal progressed. We had much better steak at barbacoas for the same price. The only thing we would recommend is the berry cobbler dessert.

I had the swordfish and it was delicious. Amazing service and live jazzy lounge music.

We're in Boise for a funeral this weekend and couldn't find a place to eat that was still open after ten anywhere near our hotel until we eventually wandered into Chandlers. I don't usually eat anyplace nearly this nice and I couldn't afford a lot but we got a couple entrees to share among the six of us and our server Bodie was so helpful and amazing. I've never felt so well taken care of than I did at Chandlers last night. Thank you for the amazing experience. I'll definitely come back here on purpose someday.

Celebrating my bride of 41 years, 60th Birthday, with our daughter. She had been asking for a lobster dinner. She loved it. It was also the first time she has enjoyed scallops. They were awesome as well.
The service was excellent and the wine pairing was perfectly matched.

What a wonderful restaurant, we started our evening at the bar with drinks, my husband had an old fashioned and I had a huckleberry lemon drop...delicious! We started our dinner experience with bone maroe and the black orchid as starters, for our main dishes I had seared scallops and my husband had surf and turf with the flat iron steak. Everything was delicious and the experience was warm and inviting.

Really good food. Outstanding service. Kinda pricey but the atmosphere makes up for a heafty bill.

Phenomenal food and a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

When I am visiting Chandlers - it is often for business events. I appreciate the private rooms available for small groups to provide a setting for presentations. The wait staff is attentive and efficient. All of that being said - the food is also wonderful at every single visit, with every item I have ever ordered.

I have been to quite a few steakhouses across the US and this one is among the top. The service is on point every time I have been, but if you want something over the top ask for Bodi to be your server. Food is always cooked to perfection. Easy choice if you are looking for amazing food, service, and entertainment.

I made the mistake of trying something new for our anniversary this year and going somewhere other then chandlers. We regretted that decision very quickly. We ended up at Chandlers for drinks and those amazing Oysters I can t wait to have again. My birthday is coming up soon and I can t wait to dine at my favorite again. I know good food and service. I was raised in the east coast where food is life, I worked in the restaurant business, and my husband use to be a chef. So when I tell you this is the place to go if you want to take it up a notch, I know what I m talking about. Keep up the good work guys.

Excellent steak (not only tender, but cooked exactly as ordered), lobster, soup, appetizers, and drinks!!!...too full for dessert!!! Also, the ambiance was great, with live music nearby. I highly recommend Chandler's to others and will be back myself!!!

The staff are excellent and provided great service. Meals are not outrageously priced and the quality you receive is worth the cost. Presentation of the food is good. Portion size is good.

We had the best waiter ever, Bodie. It was date night so we went for it with Wagyu steaks. My wife had the filet topped with blue cheese and I had the ribeye rib cap. So unbelievably good. Fork tender. Cooked perfectly. Bodie brought my wife out a sampler of all of the steak sauces. The side scallop was like butter after the steak. We had a crab cocktail and oysters to start. Shared the burrata salad. Loved the live music with the singer and piano player. What a night!

We've never treated so good on a restaurant like this. Staff are very kind, friendly and amazing. At the beginning and to end, we had a very wonderful stuffed evening. Food was fantastic!!! Me and my husband love it! We would love to go back!!!

Outstanding service and the meal was a wonderful culinary experience. I let the server know about my food allergy and he made sure to tell me which items contained it so I could avoid them. Can't wait to go back

Great restaurant for that special day or celebration. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Complimentary birthday cake on your special day! They have great drinks! It is pricey but well worth it! Live music on most weekends. Reservation is required in life of social distancing.

For the vegans in the world, try the cauliflower steak. Not bad at all!

Food was excellent, staff was outstanding. Held a dinner for 20 people, everything was flawless. Price for portion was quite reasonable.

Exquisite is the only word for this entire dining experience! I've been to some of the biggest and best steakhouses in Chicago but none compare to the entire experience here in Boise! From the reservations to leaving the restaurant was a dream! The rib eye steak was the most tender, flavorful and juicy one I've ever had in my 60+ years anywhere, charred on the outside and a true medium rare in the inside... Perfection! The crab cakes had no bread or cornmeal fillers in them just pure crab, spices, etc.! The wait staff is beyond professional and courteous! I have never gone to a restaurant and been called by my name as given on the reservation... Mrs. ----, such a personal and welcome touch. Don't pass up the opportunity to done here, it's a truly pleasurable experience you won't forget soon!

It is a very "inn" place. The food is good. Very formal service (for goodness sake, good - but that's not what you eat! At least for me). Pretty expensive. There is live music, sometimes with singer, jazz, blues - always at too high volume: it annoys the conversation a little (too bad because it wouldn't hurt). You pay that too. In the center. If the price doesn't bother you, it's a good restaurant.

Chandler's is one of the most well known fine dining restaurant in Boise. This was my third trip for our anniversary. The food is good and the service is excellent. The value is marginal. I feel like if I am going to pay $200 for a meal, I want to be wowed, I was not. It is a nice restaurant with good food, but for the money there are better options in Boise.

Classiest place in downtown Boise. Excellent prime rib.

Average at best. The steak was not that well prepared or flavorful I have to be honest.

Great Service but food was way over priced and charged a $25.00 corking fee for 1 bottle of wine, which is outrageous. Will not recommend or frequent this place again.

As always the service was exceptional as well as the food . I love the atmosphere and ambiance at this restaurant. I highly recommend it, it should be on everyone's bucket list if you haven't been there you definitely need to treat yourself at least once to Chandler's steakhouse

Great 30th anniversary experience in the wine room.

Went here last night for our anniversary. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and all his suggestions were spot on. The flat iron American Wagyu (SP) was seriously the best stake I'd ever had and their potatoes were super yum. I read a review on here that said they were like instant...that person is crazy! The scallops were devine. We ordered as an appetizer and I was regretting not ordering as a meal until my steak came out. The ginger snap crust on the key lime pie was delicious! The guy at the piano was so good and smooth I originally thought we were listening to a recording. This place is perfect for special events. I highly recommend.

Amazing crabcakes and drinks. The restaurant and bar are very classy with excellent staff. I would return more often if it weren't for the price, but that was to be expected.

For the level of exclusivity and price, Chandler's should be aware of product quality at any time, since the meat was not at par, dry aged or cooked properly.

My wife and I had an excellent dinner here last Friday. The service was excellent and the food was divine. Quite possibly the best piece of tuna I've ever had. The duck was cooked to perfection. The souffle was awesome. Can't wait to dine there again. Thanks to Chandlers for an awesome dining experience!!

Chandlers is a very good steak house. Great service and food. Really pleasant ambiance. The crabcake appetizers were delicious. Our table had swordfish, filet mignon, sole, and the halibut. Everyone enjoyed. Service was great.

Food was ok! Very dark! Need more lighting. Music was to loud had a hard time having a conversation.

One of my favorite restaurants for that fine dining experience! I had the most delicious "vegan steak" and coconut sorbet for dessert so even though it's a steakhouse they cater to everyone. The valet parking is great too!

The best food I ever had. I'm a business traveler and have been in many restaurants. This was a great surprise to eat.
Really not cheap but worth every penny. Huge respect for Tina M. as sommelier. Never met someone with her skills and knowledge. Gave us perfect recommendations for the food and wine and could answer every question.

Nothing for a vegetarian. Nonetheless, the atmosphere, jazz, and service are exceptional. My husband had a delicious prime rib.
