My BSN experience was wonderful (all online) and I decided to return to pursue my MSN. The support from the instructors is incredible-they make it clear that they care and are there to help you succeed in any way that they can. That being said, I had to withdraw due to my child's health after completing 2 weeks of a course. I understood that I would be responsible for a portion of tuition, but since it was what they considered 4 weeks (even though I had not participated since week 2), I will now be footing the bill for 75% plus all of their fees. I am not someone who wants something for nothing, but when your child receives a life changing diagnosis and you reach out as soon as you realize that you just can't focus the time and energy that your studies deserve because of weekly appointments and each day being a roller coaster, a bill like that is the last thing that anyone needs. Yes, I will pay it of course, but I am not sure that I will return to Chamberlain after this due to the bad taste in my mouth. I don't doubt that many parents would have made the same decision that I did and am chalking this up as an expensive lesson learned.

**Review update from 2 stars to 5 4/7/2021. I was recently contacted by a manager from student services to make this situation right. The heartfelt email and steps taken do show that Chamberlain cares. I appreciate their efforts to right what I felt was wrong during an extremely difficult time. Thank you!!**

Great school!! Very caring instructors!! I received my BSN and will get my FNP there as well. I tried another BSN course at Western Governors University and had a terrible experience there. I was so relieved when I found Chamberlain, keep up the great work!

I ve had nothing but great resources, professors, and education. Honestly, they ve helped transition from undergrad to my graduate program seamlessly and I think all the information they provide helps you acclimate to the online setting. My admissions rep, Ashley, was truly amazing and checked in with me often to make sure the process went smoothly. Thank you Chamberlain and I m so happy I chose to be a student with you guys!

I attend the Tysons Corner, VA Campus. Spend your hard-earned money someplace else. The clinicals are far away, and slots are very limited. The leadership is not supportive, and complaints go ignored. The core grading system is a setup to fail. I am very disappointed and do not recommend this school. A lot of my peers have dropped the program.

When it comes to student support, I can attest that the Professors at this school are very supportive. With the COVID Pandemic being hard on all individuals, keeping an open communication with Professors is very easy to do and they show how much they care about not just the student but as a person as well. The Professors care about not only the student's education but also about their well being. When time is needed and support is needed to get through daily challenges, the Professors are caring and always listening and helping. I thank my Professors for being supportive and assisting when it comes to getting through graduate school, working in the pandemic, and yet keeping the family going and strong.

Their MSN FNP program is a joke. The professors don t actually teach anything and somehow, this school manages to create roadblocks at every step of the journey. getting through the clinical rotations is a nightmare due to how poorly chamberlain communicates with the students about requirements. Everything has to be done on your own, from learning to finding preceptors. you re really just paying a large amount of money for a piece of paper, not really an education. stay away from this school.

I was a potential BSN student using VA money and after reading a good majority of these reviews it sounds like money and false advertisement are the chief complaints. Education is too expensive to have to worry about being over charged and lack of resources for higher degreed programs so I definitely look else where and advise all my military friends.

Used to be a family culture on campus, now they only want more work since COVID-19.

Stats speak for itself when it comes to education, but as far as being an employee there were so many unfair & discriminatory issues happening. My previous direct report held me back in so many ways. She would offer opportunities to others yet passed me up for so many. Diversity was very limited until a couple years ago when the new DCO hired in a very diverse group of people for non nursing departments. Such a glass ceiling!! After all my years of dedicated service I still wasn't offered a position to help me excel at all. The DCO fed me lies about waiting for a position to open when someone retired only to be told they weren't filling that position. I trained new hires... twice... for a position I could clearly be successful in only for them to hire someone over my head. I don't appreciate the discriminatory acts against me nor the deceit used to push me out. I couldn't stand to be lied to anymore so I performed my daily expectations & that wasn't enough. When COVID-19 happened there was no guideline to follow, they just wanted people to go home & work like slaves with no support or pause to talk about what's happening in the world around us. They expected more work & no compensation in pay to help with increased living expenses. Nor did they consider parents with school age children & how WFH would affect expected performance. Since my best wasn't enough... I was terminated.

Okay that's the bad right. So the good would be how I appreciated leadership's approval when I had to flex my schedule for personal business, or support during an illness or family emergency, or how they fed employees during most large meetings (way too much food involved), or how many were easy to chat with & had a friendly tone. Thanks for the experience to learn & grow as an individual through several tough situations... although I was overworked & underpaid.

As a student at the Indianapolis location, I had a very positive experience. I was offered more than one job before graduation. Chamberlain in Indianapolis has a great reputation. This school has come such a long way and has improved so much since first starting. I definitely had some struggles but made it through and am glad I invested in this school. I love my second career.

I would not suggest it for the FNP program. The average grade on midterms and final exams are failing. It causes a lot of stress to read and study, knowing that you, with the majority of your class will fail anyway. Add a narcissist instructor that wants to "play" with your grades, then it is a bad combination. I would suggest Brenau. Other FNPs cannot say enough about how supportive they are, and care that you are learning. Consider other options.
