My favourite Maroubra Cafe! Great coffee, service and Corn fritters

The best local coffee in Maroubra. Baristas are always friendly and the service is always quick despite the place always being full.
Taco Night Friday s are also incredible! Highly recommend.

Chalk, the writing is on the walls. A cool little place tucked just off the main street with a chill vibe that everyone loves.

Dog friendly and the barrister didn't miss a beat. I was slightly hung over from the night before but there wasn't anything that this place couldn't cure.

First time dining at Chalk as I am rarely around Maroubra. The service was quick and friendly and the meals were well priced. They offer an all day breakfast menu as well as a lunch menu so youre spoilt with choice. I had the Chicken & Avo wrap - served with a small side of super crunchy chips and a fresh juice. Definitely recommend and will be dining here again.

Nice place for a quick visit. The customer service not very enthusiastic but, the food was quite good, even though I didn t like the bread, I appreciate the quantity. Average price, nice and familiar atmosphere. You can park right there, and it s close to the beach. If you re in the area and want a fast breakfast (didn t waited longer than 5 to 8 mins) I suggest this place. You can sit outside, but there s plenty of tables inside as well, if you need a more intimate solution.

Hands down best coffee in maroubra, we will not go anywhere else (learned this the hard way).

Great Coffee, friendly service & great food. Their homemade Hollandaise is fantastic!!! Corn fritters are so good & you can t got wrong with the massive Vege Breakfast.
