I graduated from Chaffey High School in 2002 with honors. Its a great school with great people in it.

Ghetto ass school and so is Ontario high, there's better people at colony hs

We live in an area that has one of the highest rated high schools in this district but we chose to interzone transfer our youngest son here because he loves Chaffey High School, their JROTC program and the staff and administration. I was concerned being new to the area and it not being as prestigious as the other high school that we were zoned for but we are so thankful for this great high school and very happy our son chose Chaffey. It s a hidden gem with mature, seasoned teaching staff and administration that care!

The principal, Dr George Matamala is literally the best principal I have ever met. Our older sons attended high school at top ranked (and overpriced) private schools in Florida and I still feel that Dr Matamala is the best administrator I have ever seen do this job. He is an amazing leader, the staff is inspired to actually care and the kids in general love their school and him.

The campus is beautiful, it used to be a college and is historic. Yes the area served in its zoning is not as new and shiny as some of the surrounding areas in the district but if a child wants to be successful, this staff is going to rally behind that child to give them every opportunity and support to make it there. You don t get that in public school these days anymore. Heck you don t get that at high priced private schools either!

And if your child wants to get into mischief, the wrong crowd or throw away their opportunities, just like any other high school, there s plenty of ways to do that here too. But hands down, I can t say enough good things about this school and administration. Don t believe any negative hype - this school and staff are amazing! If you re child wants to succeed and you want a high school staff that goes above and beyond the call of duty.... Chaffey High School is the place. Go Tigers!

I took my engagement photos here. The architecture is beautiful. I've heard they are going to fence it in, what a bummer.

Counselors and all other staff are nonunderstanding, and uncaring of their students. Lazy to unfair strict teachers, plus inconsiderate students add to how terrible this place is now. Glad I left before the fences. Not to mention that I found some insanely creepy stuff in the basement too. If you're low standard enough to come here, might as well be like that in life.

Not a good school nomore fences all over it ruined it's beauty of its campus. I feel sorry for the people that take pictures outside the auditorium for their fifteen and sixteen and just photos to looks at it beautiful campus to show its one of the best campus out their....but not mw it's just ruined.

Wonderful school and amazing teachers graduated in 2011 with the help of Mrs. Oliva (R.I.P.) my counselor, who made everything possible to keep me on track!...

To all of you rating chaffey dont look at the superficial things make sure you sit down and think and truly appreciate what these people do or have done for you remember you cant blame others for you lazyness, ignorance, and immaturity; it will get you nowhere in this world.

Teachers are ok but the students are getto. So many gang looking kids that talk trash. And the gates. What's with the gates. Like the new buildings but the old buildings are dirty, and has a abandoned look to it. Has griffities everywhere in the old buildings and many students are ignerent. Then need to be taught more communication skills and make then interact with friendly team event because the students don't have much communication and don't interact with others but then to there one or two friends and ignores the others. With what I'm hearing is that back then it was better but then dropped rating as the new generation students entered that school.
