Nice place. Not only the castle and the stables pay, but also the park. Fairly high entrance fees.

Beautiful castle limits better than Versailles itself with a beautiful park we loved the equestrian representation to do absolutely if you are in the vicinity and have a half day free

Wonderful site for all who loves the open spaces, the nature and the beauty of the place, not to be missed if you have the opportunity to visit

This August 13 we went with family to the castle of Chantilly (3 adults and 2 children of 4 and 10 years). The visit of the castle was very pleasant and interesting thanks to the audioguides (adult and child version). Then we had a great tour in the park, but the children were disappointed not to find the activities mentioned on the net: no train, no carts, no pedal boats ... all these activities are not in use , even in the middle of the tourist season! So it's really a family visit but for the castle, the stables and the park (do not take into account the activities that ultimately do not work).

Beautiful castle and sumptuous park! To visit absolutely .. "the little Versailles picard" its superb gallery of paintings (the museum which has the largest collection of paintings after the Louvre) its chapel, these apartments, ..... Its park .. The racecourse in face and the great stables .... A true historical escapade ...

Exasperating
We took 1 hour to get out of the car park, arrived at the terminal the parking ticket did not work (even though we had paid for it at the castle cash desks),
people got out of their cars to manually raise the barrier!

Beautiful castle very well furnished.
The audio guides are included in the ticket. the children will have a special audio guide, who will make them visit the castle by participating in an investigation (looking for the stolen / lost blue diamond).
Beautiful collection of paintings.
The library is a real jewel.
You can then continue your visit by the stables and the huge park / forest.

Very pleasant day at the Chantilly Castle. We started at 14:30 by the equestrian show which was very beautiful. Then visit the stables, then visit the castle and we ended with the park and kangaroos. Very good day, I recommend.

Beautiful castle that makes you dream, perfect to remember the history of kings. The estate is just beautiful a good walk on acres between the English Garden, the French Garden and the Chinese Garden. Then go through the giant labyrinth and games for children. Beautiful fountains and silence to flourish and rest. Also yes kangaroos I did not understand why but in any case it's the first time I saw and very happy and also full of bee hives and elsewhere we find in the shop of the castle. I was going to forget also the superb horse museum for horse lovers like me - and the show so beautiful with horses so well trained with a posture so beautiful and so proud. In any case yes I loved just have to plan the day from 10am already down to enjoy everything

Really nice place to visit just a few minutes away from Paris.

The castle is magnificent, both the building itself and the exhibition (the collection is simply breathtaking). The park is also beautiful but the walk is long although very pleasant, so plan sneakers! And much more pleasant in good weather. The hamlet is less interesting than the castle grounds, however.
If you want to have lunch on site, remember to book to avoid unpleasant surprises. The restaurants are a bit expensive, but the strawberry cream whipped pie I ate there was to die for. I will come back with pleasure!
