Great facility, integrated into the nature of the island. Remote small bays and beaches can also be reached by pedal boat and kayak. Room (suite) is more like 4 stars. Food perfectly fine.

Nice day trip that I can recommend. 10 o'clock from victoria by boat, 3 course lunch included, pool, beach, everything can be used. 4 pm answer everything for 50 euro! Unfortunately, all corals are pale, like everywhere on the Seychelles

Short travel from Airport to the resort by taxi and then ferry. Excellent staff. No crowd on the beach. Children can learn snorkeling and Kayaking.

Mega great facility, service nice and great, food also very good, all islands in the area can be reached easily and quickly, bungalows very clean and very well equipped, despite fewer guests, the staff is above average.

I really feel that the cerf island resort must visit place to those who really want to enjoy the nature.
When you will be there then hospitality by the cerf island resort is truly amazing. Especially I want to mention that Shubham which is at front desk really a gem of a person.i really feel so secure due to Shubham guidance and his help to my the whole tour in Seychelles.
He always helps us at every step to our 6days tour in Seychelles whether we are living in cerf island or not.
He also arrange us the half day Mahe tour in nominal price as well when we were in Avani and the person who took us to Mahe tour i.e. Ron which is also a great person.
So I always recommend you to visit this place definitely meet this person as well.

This resort is just perfect if you like to enjoy some peace in the middle of nature and to profit from the beauty of the Seychelles.
The villa is just beautiful with an outdoor private bath and jacuzzi, they are equipped with air conditioning and they offer you water every day. They also have nice excursions if you want to visit a little bit the neighbourhood plus a free transfer to Victoria everyday.

The grounds are great, but the service and food are poor. There was no mineral water at the bar today. Sad! According to the description beach towels should be in the rooms, instead we have to go to the front desk every day to get some moisture out of the dryer. The food only tastes good if it is the local cuisine, but with the theme evenings they ruin the reputation. The rice tastes like cooking bag rice, the dessert as mixed from ready mixes. The spring rolls tasted like frozen in the supermarket. If you order a cocktail should already 15min wait, as the staff in fully booked rooms is overloaded. We have no television in the room. The loanable equipment like snorkel and boats are pretty broken.

Cerf Island Resort has 24 villas, named after the names of fish and trees.

Visited from Eden Island for a "lazy day" trip. Enjoyed lunch in the restaurant, complementary towels and snorkeling gear. Just a short way off the coast you can see parrot fish, sea slugs, sea urchins pencil fish and many more!

Very nice facility. Great service. Food delicious. Very beautiful houses. But very complicated all inclusive provisions. This had very clouded our impression.

If you are looking for peace, this is the place for you! On arrival we got a villa, which unfortunately was not clean but the next day we got a new room on request. However, the decor seems a bit worn. To our garden belonged a hammock and also looked to me unkempt. We have been to several islands in the Seychelles and in various hotels where the foliage and fallout was regularly removed. Just makes a neater impression. Also the positive reviews about the breakfast and dinner I can not quite understand. To little choice and not very varied. And there was only toast which unfortunately was already very hard, not so mine .. but the service is very nice. The dinner has rarely tasted .. so we often ate dinner on Mahe. There is the possibility to go by pedalboat or canoe to another island. That was very nice, only to be recommended. Unfortunately we were not satisfied with everything.

Unfriendly and non-service minded staff. Food at the resort is decent but very over priced. Go somewhere else if heading to Cerf.

Vers Nice place! The Island ist a little heaven for itself, the hotel was great.
The Villas are big and beautifully designed. From There, you have a direct view in the garden with its all differents Kind of tropical trees.
The staff is forthcoming, Always ready to Help, even for questions which are not hotel-related. We enjoyed every conversation with them about local culture, habits and nature.

We stayed 2 weeks at the hotel in all-inclusive and the food and Drinks were enough and good. The food ist more a Kind of family-local- food which was fine for us.

The Island stand 15 minutes away from Mahe with Speedboot. The hotel as several costfree Shuttles everyday. One more good point, even if our flight was one hour late, the Guys waited for us at the marina.

We will come back

Service was very good right from welcome to checkout. Inspite of us being vegetarian, chef made sure that there was something specially made for us each day. Villa was very spacious and well maintained. Transportation to nearby islands was well managed every time we needed to hop somewhere. Would love to visit again whenever we are in Seychelles.

We were at the end of August in this hotel and our expectations were exceeded and recommend the Cerf Island Resort therefore gladly further!

Heavenly. Very friendly service and great wooden bungalows. Very good snorkeling environment. Constructive suggestion: evenings on the tables a few candles and also for the ambience there would be top marks. Altogether very recommendable!

List of defects:
This resort was certainly very nice many years ago, but is now pretty shabby and totally neglected. I would not recommend this facility to anyone!
There was hardly anything as originally offered and all the guests we spoke to were disappointed.

List of deficiencies Cerf Island Resort:

1. Full ashtray in the room of previous guests.

2. Ants in the bathroom and living room.

3. Fridge full of water, which regularly puddled on the floor in front of the refrigerator.

4. About the restaurant: Dirty tablecloths on the tables, selection of dishes very small and poor quality (e.g. there was a chicken curry with gristle or small pieces of bone in every piece of meat).
At breakfast we waited 60 minutes for omelettes one morning.
Wrong things were also often brought (e.g. crepes with syrup instead of without).
Once a crepes was burnt and inedible.
Twice too many drinks were charged (it was ordered by us, written down but not brought).

5. Not enough snorkeling equipment available (we didn't get any !!!). On the last day we were offered two masks and ONE snorkel.

6. Too few kayaks (exactly two). In the four days we didn't even get the opportunity to go paddling with four people.

7. The pool table is broken.

8. The locking system of the room door was defective (it was repaired, but you had to wait a long time again).

9. The air conditioning in the children's room was broken for two days. On the first day there was three hammering on the wall switch, then the system went on for a few hours. The next day we found out again that it was incredibly hot in the room.
The counter was then exchanged at 11pm in the evening after several inquiries.
We had to wait and stay awake, even though we were dead tired and my wife, who was the only one who had eaten a salad for lunch, had a severe stomachache.

10. Several guests searched in vain for the alleged hiking trail across the island.

11. There is a rubbish dump behind a wall next to the large pool.

12. The wooden deck by the large pool is rotten and you can break through (already passed at one point).

13. There is rubbish everywhere on the property and on the beach, there are even lots of broken glass !!!
For a marine park (environmental protection area ???) it was all very sad.

14. WLAN only available free of charge at the reception at a very slow speed. Otherwise expensive to book, but not faster either.

Yes, all small things that can be regulated, but which in sum, at these prices, are far too much and should not happen.

That was really the first vacation of my life in which I just wanted to go home.

All in all, the system is degenerating everywhere. Everything is repaired only poorly, if at all.
Hardly anything can be used as described and promised. On an island with no other options to do something all the worse.
The price for this facility is absolute usury and outrage. The 4 stars are not justified at this point.

Conclusion: hands off otherwise the disappointment is great.
