Had a very bad experience with an agent. Not only did he wait until the final week of the contract to market our house, he only conducted one open house in 6 months and then did not show up for our closing. Oh and his inexperience cost us about $5,500.00

I moved into my home as a first time home buyer on...

I moved into my home as a first time home buyer on February 28th. Within 2 weeks of me being in the house I had to call A1 Sewer service out twice. The second time the owner and the entire crew informed me that the back room addition of the house had been completely built over a sewer line. Sewer line replacement is around $2000. I contacted Gemma Mcclendon, the realtor who sold me the home, and she did not respond. A month later I noticed my driveway flooding with water. I thought that perhaps I simply needed a gutter extension or gutter cleaning. I called 3 different contractors who came to my home and confirmed that the cast iron pipes under the slab of my home were rotting and would need to be replaced. I learned that home owners insurance does not cover this because it was a pre-existing condition. The cost to replace the rotting cast iron pipes is between $10,000-$20,000. It gets worse...a few days ago I discovered termites behind electrical outlet above kitchen counter. Gemma Mcclendon was my realtor and I definitely would not recommend her. She decided to "speak for me" and asked for a small amount of cash from seller in lieu of them making repairs. She knew expressly that I wanted the repairs made before I moved into the home, but disregarded my desires. The check I received at closing was not enough to cover repairs, and her broker informed her that it would not be enough. The major things that need repair in this house were not even listed on inspection report. Gemma Mcclendon was referred to me by someone and I regret listening to this individual now. Major mistake! I can't sell this house and am in a situation where I will probably have to go into foreclosure and lose everything. She hasn't called to ask how she could assist me thru this situation, but she has had my facebook page disabled so that my review can't be seen by others. She also had someone call me to ask why she's being bashed. Imagine that...she's not concerned about me losing everything financially, but concerned about how she's viewed on facebook. I had 100% financing through ProFed and needed a 0 down payment and am on the verge of foreclosure. After my son graduated college, I wanted to become a homeowner and am so disappointed in the outcome. I lost $450 on the first home that I was going to close on because she failed to do something as simple as comparing the comps. As a first time home buyer I feel that no one had my best interest at heart.

Cheryl is the shadiest realtor I have ever encount...

Cheryl is the shadiest realtor I have ever encountered. It took me asking 3 times for her to give me the inspection report that her clients were making claims on and as terrible as that was gave us 24 hours to give a response to those claims! Worst experience ever. Avoid Cheryl Albright Baldridge at all cost!

Hello,
For Clarification, previous to our first meeting, we had never met Steve before. Nor was he or Century 21, Bradley Estate Brokerage recommended by a friend or relative! I am in NO WAY related to Steve (but I wish I was!) and this review is 100% HONEST and SINCERE!
My hubby and I are mid 50's, thinking about eventual retirement and looking to buy a HOME we love, at a price-point we can afford. We have NOT found our new home YET but I knew from our very first, "home showing" walk through, that STEVE would be the perfect Realtor for US!
Century 21 Bradley Real Estate Brokers has hands-down the most friendly, helpful group of Realtors. We have been assisted by Vicki Topps and Caleb Blevins but inadvertently, were BLESSED with Steve, when through that fate changing first walk through HE was the Realtor showing the property.
We instantly like his energy, attentiveness, professionalism and natural ability to make you think YOU are his ONLY customer without being PUSHY!
Do you KNOW there are Realtors out there who WILL NOT show you a property WITHOUT an "Approval of Financing" letter? (NOT Bradley Realtors OF COURSE!)
ANYWAYS,
I will keep everyone in Thumbtack Land updated on our journey but if YOU find YOURSELF looking for a home, YOU CANNOT go wrong choosing STEVE FRANKS! (or REALLY, anyone from Century 21 Bradley Real Estate!!!!!!)

....I love my home that I purchased, however, unfortunately, I had to go thru "Century 21 real estate,inc." in order to purchase the home I really wanted, and that being said, "Century 21" is a very nefarious real estate corporation, that is owned by "gangsters", and employs dishonest, degenerate people, as you already know.

Jim Owens was the BEST! Walked us through every step and possible senario, made valuable suggestions and gave us pertinent information in a timely manner (i.e.. utility company names and numbers for the area in which you are buying a home) He and his team were the best we've ever worked with and we would highly recommend Jim and his team!

I bought my house through Ray Smith with Century 21 Bradley. The experience from start to finish was great! I was comfortable the whole time and Ray was very knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process!
