Interesting building, but we were not in the exhibition but only once walked around it. Admission was too high for us (10 ).

If you would like to sleep in a historic former Abby in the quiet countryside near Parma Italy, then this gem is for you! And to top it off they offer air-conditioned cozy rooms, a quaint bistro, and a museum on the grounds!

The natural setting is unique, it's like to be in a timeless dimension and Sironi's horse is really amazing!

A beautiful place where you can admire many things ..
I went there and it's cool there are exhibitions of objects to remember a special year in the history of humanity, the one I went to see was called 1968.
That is an exhibition with the memories of 1968, the year in which the lives of many people changed ...

I highly recommend going there because it is a very engaging experience and also very rich in emotions ...

Enthusiastic about the place, we wandered among the installations in the garden following a pleasant artistic journey. We visited a particular photographic exhibition: very nice idea of the photos in the drawers. At the ticket office they gave us a lot of information about the place and the various activities, accompanying us in a microtour. Too bad that the church was not open at that time ... we will certainly return!

A welcome surprise; the museum is very interesting, although very heterogeneous, and takes advantage of a truly exceptional location, both from an architectural and landscape point of view. Expensive entrance fee, but worth the price. A delightful inn completes the offer.

Interesting visit on the 1968 exhibition beautiful place

Very interesting location, a bit of an archive, a bit of a home.
it presents a good amount of finds (ranging from sculpture, photography, design, tailoring), but that are not enough to define it as a "museum".
The visit can be carried out in a short time and remains very interesting, despite the price ( 10 is perhaps a bit too much).
In any case it remains interesting to see.

Truly majestic Valserena Abbey is immersed in the countryside adjacent to the chaotic world of the TAV and the Autostrada ... Absolutely to visit. Perfectly kept and well cared for, it hosts a b & b in harmony with the general context. To be informed of the opening times before the visit. Easy to reach thanks to the multiple signs that indicate it.

The visit with the teacher Isabella Mozzoni is fantastic, and the documentary accuracy of that year (1968) that even for us who had lived it, we did not see it with these eyes. Thanks again to those who organized the exhibition and in particular to the aforementioned teacher who made it known to us.

The Certosa di Paradigna houses one of the most complete modern collections in the artistic, fashion and communication themes. Alternating with periodic exhibitions, it is possible to enjoy, in a unique and characteristic museum environment, elements of the history of customs and communication, both Italian and international.
As part of a tour on the contemporary world, it is a center that cannot be missed, and which, if adequately funded, could constitute a fundamental element of cultural tourism in the city.

Located in the context of the Valserena Abbey, it is a former Cistercian Gothic and Baroque abbey, located in Paradigna, a suburb on the northern outskirts of Parma; founded in 1298 and deconsecrated in 1810, it has been home since 2007 of the Study and Archive Center for Communications at the University of Parma. Exhibitions are periodically organized here. Place to see at least once considered that you can also stop to refresh in the beautiful inn and for those who come from outside even sleep in the guesthouse turned into a B & B.

Very interesting museum, in a unique context. To see the contrast between the works of design and modern art and the fourteenth-century abbey of Valserena. I'll come back.

Splendid historical structure of the University of Parma where you can find many documents that cannot be found elsewhere. Very trained staff and everything stored impeccably. Visiting the Center is a pleasure for the sight and for culture.

The location is fantastic: the old abbey of Valserena is a little sacred place and a little farm that is more-typical-not-can-do. The visit to the CSAC, however, is a bit disappointing: rather than being a museum, it is correct to speak of an archive, with objects that come from all disciplines (architecture, design, comics, cinema, TV, political posters) and do not have a homogeneous common thread. The "twelve million" of pieces advertised, among other things, suggest a visit that could last hours, but in reality it can be done rather quickly. Most of the time the church occupies it, the other two rooms are made in a few minutes (among other things, most of the elements are not visible, locked). The feeling was of somewhat over-inflated premises: luckily we had a 50% reduction on the ticket. 10 would have been too many.
