BEWARE!!!

BEWARE!!!

I had a very bad experience with these guys it was not just st George but it includes the whole revere company I had an appointment there for a pain I was having it took about 5 min or less with the doc I was just making sure it was not serious. Know 6 months done the road I got a collection company calling me saying I owe them 180 dollars for Utah central clinic and I never heard of such a thing because they changed there name to Revere so I thought it was scam and kept hanging them up I finally had A sec when they called the 3rd time and found out after 20 min on the phone who I owed money to and it was soon to hit my credit! And every day intrest was stacking up so I paid it off. I call revere health and and passed around to 3 people telling each person the same story so they can transfer me I finally talk to some of who told me yes they sent me into collection I expressed my feelings and they said well we did not have your billing info so we sent it to collection I told them what the Hell you have my phone # and email and my parents phone and email and billing and they said yes and so I said then what the hell and they said nothing and acted stupid and said well I can ask my manager if you can pay us instead of the collection which she did and it happens to be within the time they could do it but I already paid it because I did not now that could be done. Then she was like is that all and I said so I get to pay the extra 35 dollars because of your mistakes and she said yea since you paid collection. And she did not offer a refund!! I have a soft heart but not for the medical field who charge out the nose for everything thing and it still is very upsetting to me to be paying them even more then they charged because of there own issue. Especially when it was a 5 min appointment and after insurance paid there part if you do the math i was charged 2,160 dollars a hour!!!

I went here for a DOT Physical to renew my medical card. First it was kind of expensive. Second they don't know the law here in Utah, because i never got my medical certificate after my visit. Here in Utah if you don't submit a medical certificate and self certification for your CDL can be suspended. I went to the DMV to find out I didn't have the most important part. I went back here and the behind the desk tells me they haven't given them out in years. I told her the DMV requires this certificate. I did finally get it but it was more difficult then it needed to be.

Extremely caring and attentive. Took the time to listen to and address all of my concerns. One of the best experiences I have ever had at a provider's office! I am definitely a patient for life and would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Chamberlain at Revere is so great! He s always very helpful and does a great job at explaining things to me. I also take my 3 year old son to him, and he always loves going to see Dr Chamberlain and his awesome nurses and receptionists!

Steer clear! Dr. Stratford has been my family's doctor for 2 generations, but a year after one of my visits I came home to a letter in the mail from a collections agency! Didn't receive a single bill, phone call or email from the practice saying I had an unpaid balance from a visit that should have been billed preventative and covered by insurance. Be careful, don't do anything that will let them bill your visit differently, and be proactive in making sure you don't owe any money, because you can count on them not doing their jobs to let you know first. Bummed that I won't be able to see the same doctor that my family has patronized for years. But I guess when your schedule is full, the people don't matter.

The billing department is a JOKE!

As I look through these reviews it seems like this is a pattern with Revere Health Family Medicine and Urgent Care in St. George.

My husband gave them a copy of his HSA card at the time of his visit, they failed to run the payment, and never notified us that we had a pending balance. We didn't receive one bill, or one phone call. We would have paid the balance immediately! Instead, they sent him to collections for a small copay that he was never notified about.

On top of the lack of communication from their office about the bill, my husband can't get get ahold of anyone in the office to speak about the issue. They clearly don't care about their patients.

I am appalled at the irresponsibility that this family practice has shown. It really doesn't matter how great the doctor is if the front office and billing staff are incompetent, as they clearly are here.

We will be cancelling any future appointments with this office, and sharing our experience with anyone that asks.

I've been a patient of Jeff Winger for 3 years. I'd give a ten star rating if it would allow me to. Jeff isn't like most Doctors, he's truly a rare gem in the community. He is empathetic and discusses treatment plans for whatever issues you're having. He listens, I mean actually listens to you and is very genuine when it comes to your health.

I've had terrible experiences with other Doctors in the past who didn't treat me as a patient but as an inconvenience. With Jeff you're not waiting an hour only to be seen for five or ten minutes. When I first started seeing him I was concerned because new Doctor visits are unpredictable and wasn't sure just how good he'd be. I'm glad and lucky to have a good Doctor like Jeff.

I'd also like to add Nikki and Linda. They are both fantastic ladies. Nikki is his receptionist. When you call to make appointments or need to have a message for Jeff she is extremely thorough and professional. She does a great job. Linda is his Medical Assistant and is also thorough and professional. They both have earned recognition and 5 stars from me.

Dr Carter is personable and professional. He takes time to listen to all of my concerns and addresses them in order. He is kind, empathetic and knowledgeable. Many doctors of my past have been short with me, treated me as a hypochondriac or a mental case. Dr Carter treats me as an equal, he makes sure I am heard, and taken care of. I ve really appreciated his care and in return he has gained my trust.

I met with Dr. Amy Perri for the first time recently(7/20). Note, I haven't seen a doctor in 15+ years. I do not like doctors.

I was so pleasantly surprised by Amy! She LISTEND to me, and took note of my every concern. She took very good care of me at my visit. Great job Amy!

Jeff Winger has been my primary care physician for 5 years now. I highly recommend him to any and everyone that tells me they are looking for a doctor.

He s very professional, but in a cool way.
I m not a bona fide hypochondriac, but I always come with lots of questions and he s always got solutions. He s very understanding and knowledgeable.

I am also always in and out quickly, but not from a lack of attention. He keeps his schedule without pushing you out the door.

His office accepts Select Health and I m sure many others.

I ve seen multiple physicians here and most of them are great. Dr Stratford has been my family doc for the last 7 years and has been my husband s family s doc for the last 17 years. He is amazing and I would recommend him to anyone.

I had two kids go in for yearly check ups. One they billed correctly and the other they used a different billing code. After multiple calls, being told it would just take time to fix and not to pay I would get a letter. I m now getting letters that I m being sent to collections!! So I m now paying for what should of been a free check up through my insurance. Would never go again or recommend. Doesn t matter how great a doctor is if they can t bill correctly

We love our doctor at Revere Health St. George. If we can t get an appointment with our regular doctor, we can go to their Urgent Care and know our doctor will receive the information needed to continue to keep us healthy.

Worst billing ever, sent me a bill 9 months later ...

Worst billing ever, sent me a bill 9 months later that said last notice! $122.00 With no prior notice!!!!!
I've lived at the same address for over 11 years ! I work with health ins. for seniors, and if you want to report them the best you can do is Better Business Bureau, really!, like that means S*&t ! Doctor is great , but the reverend health billing BULLS&*T!

We are visiting from out of state and my husband started having unusually strong allergies and asthma symptoms. We have a rescue inhaler at home, but not having issues in a very long time we did not have anything with us. The receptionist was very helpful
with the online check in process and it was nice to wait at our rental house and talk to the doctor virtually. We got his prescriptions fairly easily and all went smoothly even though it was a moderate to long wait. Very friendly and responsive.

This is where my Doctor is at and I do NOT recommend anymore going to them if you are new in Southern Utah do NOT Doctor Curtis Carter. I still haven t gotten better and they gave me 2 shots that I had no idea what it was and I did NOT give them consent and they did it when I told them that I did NOT want the medicine, because it was really bad.

I have so many issues with this facility and it s doctors I don t even know where to begin.

Doctor Barton is NEVER on time to his appointments. You d think after a while you d change your scheduling so you aren t an hour or more behind all the time.

He scared me into being induced with my first baby because he was going out of town. He didn t care to tell me until 2 days before my due date he was going on vacation. He lied about my blood pressure to the Labor and Delivery unit so they had a reason to induce me early.

His bedside manner is lacking. He says everything that comes into his head, which should be a good thing, but isn t.

I was pregnant with my second child, unsure how far along I was, and wanted an ultrasound. I called to schedule an appointment, and the nurse told me I couldn t get an ultrasound until I was at least 12 weeks. Her listening skills were off because I had just told her I didn t know how far along I was. I let them know if they wouldn t do the ultrasound id take my business elsewhere. They got me in that day, and couldn t find anything. I was told it was too early to see anything. I scheduled an ultrasound elsewhere and was 10 weeks pregnant. Saw my little bean no problem. I lost my confidence in Dr. Barton as my OB.

I have used the walk-in urgent care on a few occasions, and always regret it. I love Doctor Chamberlain as a person, but Doctors need to be careful how they present information. I had just had my first baby two weeks before and was struggling with a lot of things. He gave me advice, which was his personal opinion, that was presented as medical knowledge. Thankfully I sought out other help because I didn t feel right about what he was telling me. Had I listened to him I would not have been able to continue nursing my first baby.

Jay Lot did the same thing. I have no problem with Doctors sharing personal opinions, but it needs to be presented as such, and not as fact. It would be even better if they could refer patients to someone who is an expert on certain things, like infant sleep, infant nutrition, and breastfeeding.

You would have thought I learned my lesson, but the other day I had an issue and needed to see a Doctor. I had already decided I didn t want to see Doctor Barton again, but I hadn t yet found a new one, so I used the walk in clinic, hoping a different doctor was on call. It was Doctor Barton. The board said the wait time would be 30 minutes. I was told by staff that just one person was in front of me, but the wait would be 30-45 minutes. Sounded about right for Doctor Barton. I waited an hour and a half. I talked to him for less than 5 minutes. I had paid $120 as a self pay at the reception desk, and just got billed an additional $75.

I ve been visiting St.George Clinic since I moved here in 1999. I ve seen several MD s and PA s over the years and trust their expertise. All of the staff from the front desk, to the MA s, lab and X-Ray staff, PA s and MD s are professional, friendly and courteous, and make me feel welcome and well-cared for. I ve even visited their walk-in clinic after hours and received the same excellent care. The clinic has kept its integrity and high standard of quality care, with some operational upgrades, after joining Revere Health. I feel secure knowing that I have a comprehensive health care team to meet my needs as well as those of my family. Thank you to all who work so hard to keep us well. Of course, I must give shout outs to Dr. Curtis Carter, Tom Bean PA, and Dr. William Esplin from whom I ve received excellent care and guidance and who have followed well in the footsteps of my beloved first, and now retired, Dr. Norman Fawson. You guys rock!!!

i called first to make appointment to see my wrist ,and the people who was talking to me in the phone told me this doctor has experience about the wrist,so i made a appointment ,then when i go to there i wait for long long time and finally get in with the doctor and i described about my wrist ,and he said he doesn't know why and feel sorry he can't help me ,and then he gives me another doctors contact information ,then i left.and today i got a bill cost 126.88$ for 5min saying i dont know how to help and another doctors phone number!!!( i am not mad at the doctor ) but i am mad at revere health .

can't believe it !!!!!!! very angry .

We saw Dr. Manning when my son broke his hand. He was super friendly, really funny, and very fast when putting on his cast. He also helped us prank my son when taking his cast off on April fools day. Amazing doctor and even better personality!!

I have been going to this clinic for the last year, I just called there because I realized I was out of my antidepressant and I knew I would start having withdrawal symptoms if I didn't take it through the weekend so I called to have them call me in a refill she said hang on let me ask the dr... Oh nope sorry we can't unless you come in (which they say all the time even for blood work results they like money) because it's a controlled substance ummm excuse me it's an antidepressant it is not in anyway a controlled substance. I just called the pharmacy and he confirmed it is not a controlled substance. Just in case she may have misunderstood me I told her the name of the RX (lexapro) 3 times!!! So apparently they would rather me have withdrawals which are horrible then miss out on that $100

He is a new patient from Midway, UT, & will now make our new residence in St. George. He's always been affiliated with doctors throught the U of U healthcare system. This experience with Dr. Bennett was a pleasure.

I love St George Family Medicine. Dr. Carter is amazing and has taken care of my kids and I for years. They have everything needed to take care of us from a lab to xrays. They have quick service and it's nice to have walk in availability when things comes up.

I appreciate the professionalism tempered with kindness on each of my visits. One of those visits was when i made a nasty cut on a finger with a chain saw. Rather than head to the Hospital ER, i called your clinic at about 4pm and was told to come right away!! My wound was thoroughly examined including xrays to determine if wound was free of foreign items and if ligaments were damaged. Then my wound was stitched up and has now healed.

Dr. Carter is wonderful! He takes his time with you and asks lots of questions to ensure an accurate diagnosis. He provides testing and immediate prescriptions/ steps forward. My husband, myself and my two daughters all love him. I also find that his wait times are short and he can often get you in same day.

Doctor was rude to my daughter. He was very condescending, arrogant, and didn't even do a complete physical. They did not even do a strep test. She has been sick over a week , has a tendency to get bronchitis and pneumonia easily. He did not want to even listen to her. She had been waiting for nearly 2 hours to even see a doctor. She is at college at Dixie state and pre-med. No bedside manners.

My biggest complaint about this clinic - I have called them 5 times in the last month and every single time I had to leave a voice mail. No option to get to a live person other than leaving a message. I have never dealt with a clinic that didn't have a receptionist to actually answer the phone. And this is extremely inconvenient considering every time they called back I was not able to answer the phone as I am a working person and actually have a day job! Also To get a refill called in at times it has taken over 3 business days.

Walked in and was told our doctor likes to see his patients so they called back and asked, but I was told they will let her know...I sat for 1 1/2 hours before I walked back to the desk and was told I needed to be put on the walk in list....I was already there for an hour and a half. I think we will be finding a new doctor......my son is sick!! Terrible!! And I waited over a week to take him in....blah!!
