I stay here and I'd say this is the most safe as well as beautiful area of Chandigarh to say ... Full security plus a Verka booth for daily needs and snacks inside ...also is there a small hospital for the people of the locality ...

CSIO is a part of CSIR. It is one of India's best scientific research center in many fields. Many great & innovative minds work here. Many students come here to do their PhD, M.tech under scientists who work here. Timings of work is 9am to 5:30pm. Has a canteen also for food & beverages. Also keep in mind that personal devices such as laptops, chargers etc are NOT allowed inside the campus. Working environment is good.

CSIO is one of the national laboratories of CSIR in India. Campus area is quiet huge and well maintained with lush green garden. Entry restricted, only for scientists, research fellow and concerned people only allowed to visit here. This place mainly focus on R&D in material science.
