I did the Heart of the Park walking tour on Aug 23/16 with Merle who was fabulous. The weather had let up a bit so it was quite comfortable. It was a full 2 hours and although I had walked Central Park numerous times, it was great to learn so much about the park. We saw loads, learned lots and because it's put on by the Conservancy, there is no charge and they don't accept tips but you can feel good about yourself and contribute the $10 to $20 (or sometimes $40) that you could have paid for a tour & give it to those whose mandate is to keep this gem available to everyone. Well done folks, well done. I would love to do another Central Park Walking Tour with the conservancy next time I'm in NYC! Thanks Merle.

STOP BLASTING YOUR STUPID MUSIC IN THE PARK EVERY SUNGLE WEEKEND!!!! There is constant noise coming from the park with all those idiotic runs every Saturday and Sunday, the residents can not enjoy the park any more. The music is blasting from 7am! How is that enjoyable??? The drummers are constantly playing on every corner, it s illegal and yet you don t do anything about it. New Yorkers don t need a park like that. It was meant to be a place to get away from all the noise, not the one that creates it. Will not be donating to Central Park Conservancy any longer and advise everyone to do the same! You don t do your jobs and clearly misappropriate the money. Do your job first!

Truly one of the biggest, if not the biggest, staple of New York City. There is nothing bad to say about Central Park. It is like something out of a book. There isn't just one specific place to go in Central Park that is better than any other. There are numerous spots and hidden treasures. Rain, snow, or shine, Central Park is always the place to go.

Central Park sets the standard for city parks. It is massive and no way you can cover side to side, end to end in one day. From the bow bridge to the lakes, carousel, skating rink, zoo, sculptures, playgrounds and just plain horticultural beauty, this is hard to beat. It is always bustling without feeling crowded. People are walking, jogging, cycling all times of day and night and carriage rides are available day and night. Make sure if you are visiting to allocate at least half a day to the southern half of the park - at minimum - it is worth it. Bring a camera!

Just beautiful, I have walked most the the lower part of the park many times when I come to the city and there's always something interesting to see. The lakes are fabulous. The little zoo is so cute and the clock that has all the moving parts is also very interesting. You really just have to take some time and get away from the hustle and bustle and just go into the park and relax and walk around and really sightsee. People on the paddle boats. . Peaceful and pretty you really got to go and see it.

Such a beautiful place. This is one of the top spots in NYC for weddings by the way (specially during spring time). You will get to see interesting monuments from different Shakespeare plays, beautiful plants and flowers, and instagram ready stairs.

Pro tip: for awesome pics, get your subject above the stairs (top) and from below (right side) you can take awesome shoots of your subject surrounded by plants and the whole view of the stairs.
