We were very disappointed with this place. While they describe themselves as a zip line business we found very few actual zip lines. Most of the traverse areas were actually tight rope type crossings or elevated steps. We were actually looking for a zip line experience and did not find it here
I loved this place! For those who have children and babies this spectacular, and for nature lovers. Breathing fresh air is never too much. It has many stations to disinfect, the bathrooms super clean. I bought the annual pass because it is worth it! And I will go more often. It is very clean although not very colorful, they have few species of each animal and most were asleep, but they look very clean and well cared for. Many attractions for children to enjoy. The super accessible entrance is $ 20 adults approx and $ 13 children approx and feeding the Giraffe is more accessible only $ 5.
This is a great way to have an adventure and great exercise at the same time. The staff is amazing. They are very informative and were able to alleviate any fears anyone in our party had. 5 stars. Myself, my family, and friends will definitely be returning. I'm considering the fun pass. This way I can make the course part of my exercise regiment. This really is a full body workout. Thank you ZoomAir staff for an amazing adventure.
Very fun! We did the zip lines. The yellow course is easy, green is medium, and blue is hard. Staff was very nice and the weather was perfect. Employee Leandra guided us through the course and did a great job explaining everything from beginning to end!
Almost sad. Empty unkept enclosures. Sad and lonely animals. My favorite place as a kid. 20 years later I bring my own kids and was bummed out.
Very nice layout and a lot of displays. The kids love the splash pad.
For a small zoo it was clean and well taken care of. Although I'm still on the fence about weather its animal cruelty to keep such beautiful animals in a zoo. This 1 you can tell the people do care. It is a little pricey though 40$ for 2 adults and we only spent hour and half there. Cheetahs were pretty awesome. Go early while the animals are active.
The zip line is super fun! Definitely going to feel it tomorrow! Great for the kid in all of us! For people with longer hair....you'll want to wear it up or back. Wear work-out suited clothes and sneakers.
Nice small zoo, grandkids liked the water park too.
It has fun activities and attentive and prepared staff
I was actually pretty disappointed at this place. but since no kids fell inside any animal cages the day I was there, they get a 5 star!
Will have to revisit because we went 2 weeks after hurricane Irma and it was a mess. Brevard zoo was better and slightly cheaper.
Grew up going to this zoo on field trips. Now I m bringing my child here and it s just as nice as I remember. Small and easy to get around with a little one. Loved being able to feed the giraffe!
Very nice zoo. The zip line looks like a lot of fun.
We go here for the rhinoceros, which is our son's current favorite animal. The splash pad is also a nice extra feature for the summer time.
The zoo is older and needs a better maintenance. Not worth a visit if you're from out of town, as there are many better attractions to go to. I would say it's worth the money if your kids like animals and you can make use of the yearly pass.
Note that the train in front of the zoo just takes you around the parking lot to see cardboard animals.
Very poorly maintained and hardly any animals. Not like before.
Went with my son for a class field trip, and the tour guide seemed irritated at times. They are only kindergartners, and he quickly lost his patience when they asked questions. He didn't seem to have any experience with little kids.
This is an amazing place for kids. I have the year pass and it is worth it. Even if you don't pay the entrance just having a picnc and the train raid for $2 is an amazing plan for the kids.
Why do I have to wait so long to visit this beautiful place
Annual pass is a great deal! They are improving a lot of the exhibits currently. There's plenty of shade and the kids enjoy the spash pad.
Only seen half the animals out and active ,probably cause of how hot it was .The lama really needs to have his teeth trimmed looked like there getting bad and sure he's not as happy eating like that .A half of a bannna with chocolate and sprinkles was 10$ half a banana really 10$ .other then it being kinda small park and a 10$ Half banana ,it was pretty nice place to spend a couple hours and some money
We came here on a whim, for an impromptu visit with my 2 toddlers. I was happy to see the drive was an easy one (from oviedo) and the drive into the zoo was a nice one and prepped the kids for something "fun and exciting". We recieved the first responder discount, which was great, and my 2 year old was free! All great things. However, as much as I wish I could say it was wonderful...it was mediocre at best. We don't frequent zoos often but have been to the Pittsburgh Zoo and the Cleveland Zoo (in other states obviously) and so in comparison, this zoo left a lot to be desired. Minimal animals at best (who can blame them with the scorcherous heat Florida has....can you imagine a polar bear in it??!). Not sure if that was something to do with it. But really....the only wild life they have are your basic Florida wild life anyway....gators, crocs, different birds (nothing crazy), a decent reptile selection, a rhino, a cheetah, monkeys... and that's about it. Giraffes you can feed lettuce to for 5 dollars (they are over the lettuce pretty quickly but the toddlers were happy.) A splash pad and a play ground.... my kids were more happy to play in the park than walk and see the animals they saw. Thats toddler life though....not sure if its a testament to the zoo itself. Im sure im mising a few animals (the bears were "out of service").... butterfly plants to attract butterflies (faaar from an exhibit)... no aquarium (that we saw)...really not worth the money (even with the discount) more than once a year. Customer service is nice. It was a fun day out....but if youre looking for more than just animal's in enclosures this place probably isn't it.
Vast variety of fauna! In addition, the zoo has a zipline!
I really enjoyed the Asian Lantern Festival at the Central Florida Zoo. My first time seeing this with my daughter. We will definitely be going back before it done.
tbh going to this Zoo made me depressed. maybe its covid 19 maybe it's just a sad Zoo. employees were all zombie looking and animals were almost non existent and looked either bored or pacing back in forth (small enclosures.) I wont be going back. Go once and see for yourself.
Danny provided amazing service, and the zip line was awesome too!!
It s a nice place but needs a lot of upgrades and maintenance. Some staffs were quite, even one old guy staff was trying to avoid us. No reliable food vendors, we had difficulties even to find milk for our baby.
The show for that day was only 1, lasted for around 20 mins only.
This place needs an evaluation.
It was amazing went there with a friend and had a Blast!!!
It is small and walking is nice because it has a lot of shade
Had a great time and was able to make a wax animal that I haven't been able to find any where else.
Wonderful time with the family kids had a great time definitely will be back
I really enjoyed all the animals in there own private spacious habitats. It was a shame they ran out of lettuce for the giraffes to feed and the coconut ice pops in the snack stand.
Went to Zoomair the Zipline adventure park connected to the zoo. Very physically taxing but worth the sweat! If you love to get up and move this is a good place to go.
Great little zoo right around the corner from our house but it is very small and going under a lot of renovations. Our favorite is feeding the giraffes, watching the bears play, the train, carousel and the playground. The petting zoo is fun but closed until further notice. Some animals seem to have very small habitats (like the panther, giraffes. and cheetahs).
Ropes course, splash pad, petting zoo, and playground make for a full day's adventure. Annual family passes are also reasonably priced.
It is peaceful walking around with your family. There are certain things that are closed do to the virus, yet the splash pad is open for kids to be near one another. My kids are asking to go back every wk now.
This is a nice quaint zoo. The people who work here are so kind and we love going with our little ones.
Very disappointed. Most of the enclosures were empty. Areas were closed off. Not that it's your fault but the giraffes "weren't in a good mood" So overall, most of animals were out of sight and all of the food stands were closed with the exception of one which was at the end of the loop! This was just infuriating
Good small zoo. The llama & the goats are funny. Lantern festival looks cool but its temporary & not everyday so check the schedules. Nice thing is they offer a reciprocal discount for affiliate zoo memberships.
Very enjoyable zoo. And the admission is very reasonable. 2 hours is about the right amount of time to set aside. Unless you want to zip line then 4 hours is more like it.
Not a lot of animals to see, definitely worth the price.
Small and easy to navigate. Really up close exhibits. I love this zoo. Animals were really active and feeding the giraffe was my absolute favorite. The bbq food was yummy too.
We chose to avoid the crowds at Disney and elected to try a visit. They offered a military discount and we had a nice time. They have some cool enclosures that offered a close up view of the animals which made this zoo a unique exprience.
This is a very small zoo to begin with. A lot of the enclosures were empty or the animals were hidden out of sight. The panther made me sad. His enclosure is much too small. It looks like the zip-line would be good but that is a separate $50 expense and actually I think a separate company. The little train is cute and I believe only $3 additional but it was not running when I was there. There was a small playground, and a few game areas for kids that were open and a water splash area that was not because it was too cold. Maybe it would be a better zoo in the summer.
All the animals look very plump and healthy ,they all seem happy and are satisfyingly active. All the enclosures were very clean no overwhelming smell until you get to the goats haha. Definitely much better than the Jacksonville zoo. No cool down places to rest except tree shade outside, the only place to eat the "sonny's" took about 20 minutes of standing in a line and the only seating inside was broken and had caution tape on it. Overall a fun experience and definitely worth the price of admission and food but still has much room to improve on the human side of the experience.
Its a small zoo but very clean with friendly staff. I would give them five stars if they had more variety of animals.
Not quite a 'zoo'... more of a refuge. Entertaining, but small and overpriced. Food shops close anywhere from an hour to a couple of hours before the zoo actually closes, which is something I really hate about this place. Would not go back.
Great animals to see! There is a park, animal exhibits, face painting, food, merry go round, and a train. There are more activities I just listed a few.
We love the zoo just got annual passes. We were disappointed that the petting zoo was closed tho.
Depends how you feel about zoos really. As far as I can tell animals were well cared for in decent environments. I think we should keep asking if this is the right thing to do with animals. Best way to see it is on a Segway which we hired near the entrance
The zoo had great precautions for Covid while creating a wonderful experience to see the animals. My 1.5 year old daughter had a wonderful first time at the zoo! Thank you!
Real nice zoo just wish it had more animals and a bit bigger.
Went with ELEMENTARY school kids for a field trip they all had a blast
Prices are insanely expensive!!! Jax zoo is twice the size and half the price!!
Visited for the Chinese lantern festival and had a wonderful time. The displays were beautifuly made and exceeded my expectations. I now have plans to visit the zoo during the day, such a delightful experience!
Fun day at the zoo with 4 kids ranging from 13-1. Enjoyable for everyone! There's even beer and wine for the parents. The drinks in the vending machines only take dollar bills and are $3. At the concession stand, water is only $2. Got to watch the crocodile feed on a rabbit. Very cool!
Had so much fun with my family and cheap to get in only 19.50 x person.
Nice quiet zoo for a family visit. Clean grounds and pleasant staff
I didn't like the zoo it is so small and hot and food is horrible and bad service
