I learned quite a bit when visiting here and they have an absolutely gorgeous new building. I never thought this would be a place where I'd be interesting in working at, but I was pleasantly surprised. seems like they do great work and have great opportunities here.

CSIS hosted The Future of U.S. Counterterrorism event and it was excellent. The conversation on current CT topics featuring two representatives from Congress, Michael Waltz (R-FL) the first Green Beret elected to Congress / House Armed Services Committee / Former roles at the Pentagon and Senior Advisor to VP Dick Cheney for counterterrorism, Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) House Foreign Affairs Committee / Former CIA operations officer, and moderated by Seth Jones, Harold Brown Chair, Director Transnational Threats Project, Senior Advisor, International Security Program. What a great discussion. The representatives agreed, disagreed, debated and discussed the current threats and the current state of U.S. CT. and covered a lot of relevant information in an hour. Time for Q&A was limited but I was able to sneak in a question afterwards as everyone was leaving. Water, orange juice, coffee and other refreshments were offered (self-service) outside the even room, and the event was even live streamed online for those who could not attend in person. Another excellent event at CSIS headquarters!

Very Unpleasant business with CSIS. Lack of IT professionalism. CSIS employees put frozen food bag(plastic) on other's equipment that will make water from moisture, eating, playing game during the event, stream not via Landline, not enough Audio lines based on RSVP numbers, Lack of professionalism. This is a Think tank I know! but you have enough funding for IT crews. STAY OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE!!!!WHERE IS YOUR FIRST DAY ATTITUDE?

The worse and most recast institution on the face of earth. I have 2 masters one from Europe and Another from US in Security and International Affairs and I worked for US and EU leading institutions for 15 years. I have more publications in the global and world leading media than the President of CSIS. They rejected my applications for more than 50 times for the last 5 years. I applied for all levels, including intern, but always rejected. It is only because I am a muslim.
