This office is terrible. Not only is it dirty, but Doctor Naomi Jones is the worst psychiatrist I have ever had. At my first appointment, she was impersonal and fairly rude. My second appointment was even worse; I waited an hour and fifteen minutes for my appointment, then when she finally called me back, another patient got up and went straight into her office and she knew I was next. Not only did this compromise my medical information, but it was incredibly rude. There is absolutely no excuse to keep a patient waiting that long, nor is it acceptable to compromise a patient's medical information.

Having been a patient of Dr. Jones for over a year, I can say that she is hands down the most professional person that I've seen in this capacity. She actively listens and genuinely cares. That's the reason I keep coming back. Her staff is caring, attentive and efficient. Will you have to wait for your appointment? Yes. But if you're going to a Psych that runs on time for every single appointment, they're obviously robots. I would rather wait a little while to know that I will be attended to by the best, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Jones for being such an outstanding professional and making a real difference in my life.
Go someplace else. Just to reach them by phone is a nightmare. Last time, I waited 4 days for the doctor to release my medication to the pharmacy. Now, to ask you for you're co-pay, they are on point.
Worst dr I have ever been to. They are after getting as much money as possible. She could care less about her patients or their well being. An absolute waste of time going there and I strongly recommend to anyone else to look elsewhere
Dr. Jones has always been amazing to me and the people I have referred to her. She will find the best path for you with whatever you are going through. If you have to wait a little bit (per other reviews) it is because she actually takes the time to understand her patients. She comes highly recommended by me!
Scheduled for a Saturday appointment.. waited 30 mnts. No one ever arrived and the office never opened. I am sorry I never looked at the reviews. They are right. The place is no good. Not worth a star rating. How about -0.000 stars.
Dr. Jones never once acted like she cared for my well-being. She just prescribes different meds that work terribly together, charged me $200 for FMLA paperwork that she never succesfully sent in, and overall is just a terrible people person. The only saving grace of this place is the amazing front office staff.

I was a patient of Dr. Jones for over 3 years, and I can say without a doubt that this is absolutely the worst, most unprofessional medical practice I have ever dealt with. I have no clue why I stayed as long as I did. Apparently I m a glutton for punishment.
There was never an instance where Dr. Jones saw me on time. Every visit I had was 1-2 hours after the scheduled appointment time. I had one visit where I was not seen until 3.5 hours after my scheduled appointment. If you have a job, this is not the provider for you. You ll need to use most of your time off just for this doctor appt every month.
You may wonder how they justify this. Dr. Jones states that patients sometimes require extra care during times of crises, which creates these consistent 1-2 hour delays. But what about the patients you are failing to see until 2 hours after their appointment? What if they are having a crises? Is it acceptable to continually de-prioritize them?
If it s a crises causing the delay, how come it occurs consistently every month for every appointment for years? How about increasing your staffing levels to more effectively care for your patients? And how come this only consistently occurs at this practice? My wife has never had this issue with her provider.
When Covid hit and appointments were conducted telephonically, the service level somehow got worse. There were many appointments where Dr. Jones never called at all, and I had to leave messages requesting a call back. The single time I received a call on the day of my appointment, it was at 5:30pm...for an 8:30am appointment.
My advice regarding this practice? Run. Quickly. Far away. Do not waste your time here with a provider who is totally unable to manage her time, and blatantly neglects her patients throughout the treatment process.
The absolute worst at customer service. Plan on waiting for well over an hr. If you schedule an appt plan on waiting for at least an hr after that and if you bring it up to the staff they get a bad attitude. Completely unprofessional. Be sure to have a full battery on your cell phone bc it will probably die while you wait.
I don't understand the reviews I read, do you have to wait of course at times yes, why bc Dr. Jones really cares about her patients I never feel rushed by her, she really listens to my issues (even though she's not the therapist) I have been with Dr Jones for 3yrs now ( ever since I developed depression after loosing a baby) she is kind, caring and has helped me in more ways then one. The office staff is always willing to help and are so friendly and kind. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Jones she really cares and is so very helpful I recently lost another baby and she was so extremely sympathetic got me in right away when I felt I was in crisis. If it wasn't for Dr. Jones and her staff I don't know where I would be. Thank you so much to this center for all of their help through everything.
The staff is rude. They changed my medication without telling me and then told me that s my dose for now on, because Dr. Jones is Rude an unethical. She does whatever she wants with peoples medication. Not caring if someone s bipolar an will go manic without their correct dose. The staff hangs up on you if you are assertive. Christine is the only one who helped me an now I can t see her anymore, because they don t care about people with mental health. Only one who does is Christine. I ve been manic for days, because I didn t get my full prescription, cause Dr. Jones said you get what you get. Don t go here. They also make you wait hours and hours for appointments. I also believe they are doing some illegal things at this practice.
Went to this place for a very short time right after I was released from the Behavioral Center back end of 2018. Christine was new to the practice. Loved her! She was always so sweet and caring and compassionate. Dr. Jones nothing good to say. She is very controlling and rude. I don t know how anyone can work with her. The office staff was horrible. Always called to change the appointment. Never knew anything about the insurance co-pays and you wait and wait and wait! I called several times and saw Dr. Jones in person twice just for my FMLA papers that never got gone which I was told I had to pay for in advance. I ended up getting my paperwork done by someone else. I too left crying because of the front staff. I wish Christine worked at a different practice I would still be seeing her. The person who said if there was a rating less than a star I agree this place doesn t even deserve 1 star
Had a follow up scheduled for 3 months out to get a prescription refill. Never received an appointment reminder when my meds were getting low. Called and came to find that the provider who was seeing me on behalf of Dr Jones resigned and they never called to tell me that I needed to schedule a new appointment.
This was not the only poor experience I've had with this provider's office over the 1.5 years I have been going here, but the unprofessionalism of not informing clients that their appointments were canceled was the nail in the coffin for me.
I don't mean to be rude, but you know you should find a new physiatrist when you, the patient, is saying that they really need to get it together..
The worst experience of my life. Dr Jones is uncaring, cold and appeared put out that she had to talk to me. Told me she s very busy and is only there to write prescriptions. Horrible experience the staff wasn t much better. I waited in a room that had a set of blinds on an empty desk and there was a rectangular piece of metal on the floor the room had the appearance of an empty space where junk is kept. They should close them down.
Wow, can't believe I didn't see these negative reviews before making an appointment here, glad I got out before it was completely too late. How is this place still in business?! I can't get over the fact that a woman with an oxygen tank was made to wait 3 hours after being assured over the phone before her arrival that she wouldn't have to wait that long. Then to charge her a fee on top of it?? Outrageous scam of a facility! I've even read some of the 5 star reviews. They look like fake reviews written by staff or friends. If your friends or family truly had a positive experience, let them describe their experience. Sure, some people might need help writing a review. But the ones I've seen claiming to help their friend or family get to this place are too vague to describe a real experience, which screams fake to me. This is also the only clinic I've been to where the patient is required to email someone for a billing issue, no one else to talk to otherwise. I've never seen anyone else having a sign saying some patients need more time than others & they don't know until the person gets there. FYI, doctors who run this practice don't count for that rule, since I see one who constantly strolls in minutes before opening time and then blames it on a car accident on the way. If your patients typically get there before you, the car accident isn't the problem. Time management is.
Horrible place to seek help. I was able to prove that they over billed my insurance and that I was paid in full...now I have a collection notice for an amount I DO NOT owe. Staff is horrible, wait time over an hour, & the doctor told me more about her problems than I told her mine. DO NOT GO HERE!!!
When i walked into the facility it looked very old and dark almost. There was not a single patient in the waiting room but yet i had to wait over an hour to see an ARNP by the name of doctor Jones. Doctor jones was unprofessional she looked as if she just woke up from an "hour long nap". She was also impersonalble i felt as if she did not take me seriously which is sad because i went here for HELP and got nothing but a bill from them. Some of the staff in the facility need a career change people like you shouldnt work in that type of medical field. Thank you for the waste of time center for phychiatry and behavioral health!
Lol at the person who claims some people go back at their exact appointment time. Honey, I never said I had no copay. Also, I've waited 45+ plus minutes past appt time even at opening with one other person in the waiting room. Even that person was her first patient for the day, they had to wait 45 minutes as well. I dealt with that every month, not a good sign.
Review was purged at least 5 times since publishing my review. Dates I've noticed it: 10/9, 10/12, 10/14, 10/21 & 10/23. I will not be silenced because someone doesn't want the truth out.

Avoid this place at all costs if you can. Went here once a month for 3.5 years too long, about 75% of appointments being behind schedule by at least 45 minutes, some appointments ranged up to 2.5 hours past. I was told that I was required to see the Dr every month, no exceptions for the medication I'm on. I later learned that was a lie, because I ended up going to my General Physician upon finding out he's still in network. My GP told me that I can legally go for 1 appointment every 3 months, I just call in on the 2nd & 3rd months when I'm about to run out. Although I suspected it it before switching doctors, I found out this place is double dipping on my insurance. They were asking my insurance provider for at least twice the amount that my GP asked for. On top of that, the cost I had to pay out of pocket at my GP's office aligned with what I was supposed to pay according to my insurance. If I did my math correctly, I was being charged approximately fifty percent more than what I was supposed to pay when I went to this clinic. I say if because I wonder if she thinks I'm stupid. Rather than talk to me (after giving her multiple chances to discuss my complaints), she'd rather talk to the other person I know that goes there. Asking if I've left a negative review, then if I really went to a different doctor.
Jones: if you're reading this, yes I did leave a negative review and I did switch doctors. If you have a problem with any thing I say, I'd prefer it if you worked up the courage to talk to me about it instead of trying to complain about me behind my back. I have addressed some of my concerns to you, but you brushed it off like it was nothing. I felt like you didn't care, so here I am saying something about it publicly.
I went to my first appt and was told it was cancelled because I never confirmed. I was never told this was policy and they claimed I had been told. I said nobody left a message and they said they left two. I know cannot be not true. I'm obviously coming for mental health reasons don't lie to cover your ass and gaslight me about you not doing your job.
I was required to go here for a year, because my primary required a psychiatry appointment for adderall refills. It was then I witnessed the most egregious Hippocratic violation I've ever seen. A woman was at the front desk, and she said "I called before my appointment and specifically said I had enough oxygen for 3 hours, and you promised me you were not running behind. I have waited 3 hours, and I need to go home to get more, but now it is dangerous to drive due to the lack of oxygen, and I don't know what to do." The receptionist informed her that it wasn't her problem that she was out of oxygen, she would have to "figure out" how to get home on her own, and that she would be charged a cancellation fee for the appointment. I offered to take this poor woman home, but she said her son was leaving work early to pick her up. Just terrible.
If it were possible to give a rating for less than 1 star for this place I would! It s a complete scam of a facility. Be prepared to wait for over an hour for an appointment that s scheduled with Dr. Jones. If you re not about to wait over an hour for your appointment that lasts all of 3 minutes they ll reschedule you while failing to mention they re still going to be charged the no show fee. They re constantly rescheduling appointments and making scheduling errors. If you re desperate enough to come here just make sure to schedule with Judy or whoever their latest new hire is.
Your get the run-around for answers needed. Totally unprofessional. It seems everyone that works in the front office, in my opinion, is from a temp agency.
When you go to pay your copay, they upcharge you and tell you it's your deductable, when I call my insurance to ask, they say that's not right.
Horrible service. Time to find a new organization that won't give me the run-around. Believe all the reviews, don't be a fool like me and check the reviews after you visit. I'm reading all the reviews and believing everyone of them from my experience.
Wonderful Dr. Naomi Jones is a caring and sympathetic Psychiatrist. She is always engaged and treats me with respect. The therapist are very caring as well. I highly recommend this practice.
just expect them to be 2-4 hours behind nothing less. go ahead and cancel any plans you had for the day because you will for sure be late to it. absolutely awful time management. the nurses and drs talk for 15 mins after each appointment and they wonder why they are always behind.
People...read all the bad reviews and believe them. This many people cannot be wrong! For every person that does complain there are 20 more behind them that just do not want to waste the time writing the review. The office staff is very incompetent, disorganized, do not communicate with each other and they will lie to cover their mistakes. They messed up billing on two occasions and trying to correct it with a live person has been impossible. They refer you to an email and that person will not return phone calls and only communicate via email. And God forbid you need a pre-authorization for any medicines...they do not know what they are doing here! I have been waiting 3 weeks for them to submit a form to the insurance company. My benefits coordinator at the insurance company has never received anything from them, yet they claim they submitted it. My pharmacy even called them and never received a call back. At first, i thought it was just miscommunication but after many back and forth calls with the office staff, I realize they are complete idiots. I am dumping this horrible group of people for a better healthcare provider and I hope you do not make the same mistake I did!
I ve been coming here for a few years now and I do agree with some of these reviews but I d really like to know what other specialists offices they go to where they get back at the exact appointment time, don t have to pay co-pay/deductible/ co insurance and the doctor is never behind for taking care of another patient.... because I m sure we d all switch, but that s not realistic! I have waited well past my appointment time several times but I ve also called to ask if there s been a cancellation or called for one on the same day and got an appointment that day so I expect a wait. I also had a billing issue and thought it was different that I was given an email address for it but once I emailed them the issue was taken care of and I wasn t harassed at check in about it, it was mentioned and I was given the email and went on with our day! The only negative thing I really have to say is the front staff does change almost every month and I just hope they find a good fit soon.
My 1st appointment with Dr Jones was awful. She did not care about anything I talked to her about. Not only was she rude she also wants to take me off my med for my anxiety disorder . I thought a psychiatrist is there for you to make you feel better about yourself not worse. I left her office crying and in a panic attack. I would not recommend her to anyone. And the person that left a review saying that he or she has been seeing Dr Jones for over 20 years is a lie because she has only been in practice for 18 years!
I dunno where all these other reviewer's have been going to see a psychiatrist before (or most any specialist for that matter) but sometimes you have to.. Wait! It's part of life and is typically a sign that the Doctor actually spends the needed time with their patients rather than paying them out after the allotted time slot. This is certainly the case with Dr. Jones. Have had a wonderful experience with the staff as well as the Doc. My wait times have varied but are on average less than an hour. Absolutely recommend her.
Highly DO NOT recommend!!! Naomi Jones is unprofessional, rude and should be in a different profession all together. Been going here for a few years now but my visit the other day was the last time. I had been happily seeing the NP Christine who is caring and pleasant. But because of sudden insurance issues with Cigna patients she claims I MUST only see her. Whole thing sounds fishy to me so I questioned her more about it. Jones suddenly got defensive and raised her voice at me asking what she ever did to me for me to not want to see her. Must be a sore spot!! I felt totally attacked. Wow, I explained it shouldn t be taken personal but that I felt more comfortable with Christine. She wouldn t accept that and continued attacking me. Such a sad excuse for a doctor . She is also a NP not a Psychiatrist. She also constantly fires her front staff or they quit & obviously has no idea how to lead people. It s a shame we go to these people for care and compassion regarding depression/anxiety but instead are met with hostility. We should feel better after visiting them not worse. Please STAY FAR AWAY!
So far I'm a new patient. After talking to Doctor Jones I felt very comfortable very nice staff. I feel as though they're not just script writers but they actually speak to you they actually want to know how you're doing or is the medication working for you if not we do have an alternative very informative unexplained very well. The only complaint I would have is that the wait time that I may have other things to to do. Aside from that awesome practice !!
The counseling is good but never go here to see the psych. It's absolutely ridiculous to have to wait an hour and a half for a 10 minute appointment where someone writes their name on a piece of paper and then is done. Never coming here again for the psych. I'll just have to see two different doctors now.
The only reason why I'm giving her one star is because that's the least I can give on here. Every time I come in she's always an hour behind and doesn't apologize for the inconvenience. Besides the fact she is always running late, she doesn't take the time to listen to what I'm saying. I feel as if she just wants to write prescriptions and get on with her day.
We had a 2:15 appointment and it's now 4:12 and we.are still waiting in the lobby. Update just called in 2 hours and 17 minutes after appointment time. Update we were due for a monthly injection today they said they were not sure insurance would pay. We haven't had any insurance change. So all of this time nothing was achieved. Now they want us to come back another day. To pay another copay for what should have been done today. This is totally bad care.
I feel very comfortable coming here . I have been seen by Dr. Naomi Jones for over 20 years she s an excellent doctor, very professional very patient and cares about what the patient has to say . Staff is very nice and helpful .
Their scheduling service is the worst. I had an appointment scheduled, took off work only to find out they had made a mistake. Then I had an appointment and had an emergency, called in to reschedule and they wanted to charge me, that's obviously how they make their money. No consideration at all. They just lost my business and my fiance's as well. There are enough doctors out there who don't treat you as a transaction but as a patient.
Dr. Jones has been seeing me for years . I am so thankful for this office & there kindness . I don t care about waiting, everyone waits at Drs offices . Never seen the office dirty .I would recommend Dr.Jones any day
I have just read several of the reviews listed here and was mortified by several of them. I have been a patient there for several years now. Of course I have had to wait before - I am not sure what doctors these people have been seeing that they have NOT had to wait to see. It is pretty much the nature of the beast. I know that if I were having some major issues that I needed help with that the patients behind me might just have to wait. The reality is that she DOES care about her patients and takes the amount of time that is required to help them. I am uncertain why this office or Dr. Jones would be held to a different standard than other doctors offices. That being said, I have found Dr. Jones and her staff to be helpful, courteous, professional, and honestly have never had a bad experience there. I would certainly recommend them to anyone.
Office is very old and dirty. I only chose this location at first because it was so close to my home. Office staff is very nice but I am not a fan of Naomi Jones. She isn't even the Dr on staff, she is the ARNP physician assistant. She is very inpersonable. And has NO sense of time. I have waited up to an hour and half for a scheduled appointment at one point. I started scheduling appointments right when the office opens and somehow she is still running behind when I have the FIRST appointment of the day and still wait 20-30 minutes to be seen. She has forgotten on multiple occasions to call in prescriptions to my pharmacy. Told me I was basically S.O.L. for some of my medication that I NEED because she would be out of town when I would be due to come in to get the RX for them. She doesnt remember my history when I go in and is just very cold. Needless to say I am in the market for a new doctor.... very unstatisfied with how unprofessional this "Dr" is.
My experience with doctor Jones was horrible. I was prescribed a medication that interfered with another medication I was already on, after finding this information out on my own I spent 3 weeks calling trying to get it fixed. My calls were never returned and when they finally were I was informed of why the medication was interfering. Something I had already had to find out through my pharmacist. I had made the staff aware that I had already stopped taking this medication. 3 whole weeks with no resolution or help. I'm currently seeking help elsewhere. The counselor is absolutely fantastic but I wouldn't recommend Dr. Jones to anyone.
