This dealership service department has the worst c...

This dealership service department has the worst customer service ever. If you want to hand your car in for any repairs just becareful they will damage your vehicle and blame it on the customer. So is best if you do a full vehicle inspection with them before you hand the keys to them.

Handed my vehicle twice for a simple paint defect and came back with multiple issues.

First repair - vehicle came back with below
* Dust in paint
* Paint chipped
* Damage your fuel cap so it doesn t close properly
* Footprint inside vehicle boot

Second repair - vehicle came back with below
* Dust in paint
* Paint bubbles
* Door handle missing a cover part - whoever detail my vehicle has vacuumed the part off the door handle
* Scratched windscreen after washing the vehicle
* Scratched plastic wheel trim

The service manager Benjamin Cox has the worst customer service. Not apologetic at all. I handed my vehicle to them twice not only did they not have the skills to repair the defect area but dealership itself has no duty of care. This service manager has no respect for me and accused me for damaging my own vehicle. Why would anyone damage their brand new CX-5 that is less than 6 months old with less than 5000K on the car? This service manager is very dishonest and unreliable so make sure everything is in writing. He will go back on his words to Mazda Australia HQ and the customer.

I have given them opportunity to remedy this issue but instead of helping me or communicate with me they just ignore my calls and emails. If you want them to respond to you, you will need to keep calling them every hour.

This issue has now escalated to Fair Trading, ACCC, Mazda Australia and will be taking to QCAT if needed.

I sincerely hope no one else will suffer from this dealership. If you need to take your vehicle to another service department that is further I suggest you do so because is not worth spending time sorting this out.

Recently purchased a Mazda from Toowong Mazda. From the moment I stepped foot in the door, Daniel Janho took me under his wing and made the whole purchase process seamless and enjoyable. He listened to what it was that I was after, never rushed the process, genuinely paid attention to any concerns I had, made sure my eating and drinking needs were attended to and only raised the dollar-chat after I had the opportunity to make my mind up. I would recommend the dealership, particularly Daniel (Dan) Janho to any seasoned or first car buyer looking at a Mazda.

My review is for both, car purchase and service.
I bought my Mazda CX-5 preowned car from Toowong Mazda. Like others I was looking for best possible deal and also salesperson was really helpful. While looking around with many other options I finally got my best deal here. My car is just like new with much better price. That's the good part.

I requested for loan from the dealer itself and was offerred a quote much higher then industry standard. By alternate loan providers I got a better deal and then dealer matched up my interest rate which is even 2.5 times less then then original quote. I realized there was too much of buffer in it. That's the bad part.

Finally, comes the time for my first service. I got this done recently and so far happy with it. No issues at all, clean and smooth car. Also, they provides pickup-drop service which I got to know later. They also offer free coffee and breakfast items while your car would be getting serviced.

Overall, I am quite happy with Toowong Mazda except that loan rate incident.

Big thanks to Toowong Mazda and Hunter for all their help with my new car. I walked in on a very busy day and the receptionist went the extra mile to help me as much as she could until she arranged a test drive for me with Hunter, who was extremely professional and accommodating. I made a decision that day and picked up my new car a week later. Everything was very easy and customer orientated, and i love my new car.

I called Mazda after my husband said (*threatened) he would fix the door issues we were having. I called and spoke to the lovey reception, service department and parts people to address my many, many questions. They were able to get the car booked in with minimal effort for the very next day and assured me if the car needed parts I would still have it in time for daycare pick-up.
All of the staff have been super friendly and professional....great service!

And now just to wait for the car in their air-conditioned complimentary cafe! Xx

I bought a MAZDA 2 in late February 2019 during their clearance sale. Nathan was very good and gave me a great deal with the car. Toowong Mazda had a great waiting area which had food and drinks. Overall , buying my first car was truly enjoyable with them as they had great customer care from the beginning till I even collected my car.

Having many mazda 3's in my family ( 5 total ). Few year ago I was having a problem with the ignitions beeping as if the keys was still in when it wasn't. had to take it back 3 times just to fix this one problem and cost be a lot more than it should have. They also broke my reversing sensors somehow in the process, at the time i thought they had disconnected them so took it back twice and both times they had no idea how to fix it or what was wrong. fast forward to a few days ago i went in looking for a new Mazda 3. For them it was pretty much a guaranteed sale. We were greeted by a saleman's who was chewing gum, which is quite possibly one of the most unprofessional things you can do. I asked him for a brochure on the Mazda 3 and what i could get for my price range. They dont have any as they're now paper free which is fine. But i still need to know details on what im getting to compare with others and the best deal they can do. His answers to questions were short and it felt like he didn't want me there at all. He just's pulls out his phone and starts showing us stuff on the website. stuff anyone can do. Overall huge let down Mazda and you lost an easy sale tbh. I didn't want to come here after what happened years ago but i did, hoping it wouldn't be a letdown like last time. But NO. never stepping foot in the place again. Of the 7 different car dealerships i visited that day, you were by far the worst.

Terrible experience both in sales and service. Ended up selling the car after having to return it 7 TIMES for various issues. The service department even managed to damage the dash whilst fixing another problem and the whole thing had to be replaced. I actually drove their loan cars more than my brand new CX3. Toowong Mazda does not care about their customers AT ALL (particularly Chris (Manager), Edan (Sales) and Ryan (Service Manager)) . We used to love Mazdas but they're quite a junky fleet now days and Toowong Mazda just adds to the overall disappointment. Was very happy to take my $ elsewhere.

I got my Mazda 3 Neo (2010) serviced couple of days ago and have to say that they did a shoddy job of it. Car was not cleaned properly. There were water marks on side-window glasses; un-dusted dust on the dashboard. Plus two additional 'works' were done without notifying me and also without my prior approval and thus when I was hit with an additional $200.0 (appx), it came as a shock to me. The guy who managed the servicing work was not particularly client-friendly. I have now been with Mazda service section for over 6 years and its quality has varied over the years.

Life Saving. I just recently lost my BEAUTIFUL Mazda SP 25 GT, not at the fault of my own as we had to avoid a guy that didn't give way. I adored that car, and despite the horrific damage to it, the inside stayed completely PERFECT, and in-turn we are safe. My partner and I owe our lives to the fantastic engineering of that car, and I'm 100% confident it was in perfect condition because of the guys down at Toowong Mazda. Each services they up date you on how your cars performance is going which ultimately reflects how you can improve your driving and a car owner. I am going to miss my Mazda 3 SO MUCH, but I am hands-down getting another one ASAP.

Please everyone avoid this particular dealership. Very poor customer service. Very difficult to get a contact on them and everyone seems to ignore you once you come in to enquire about cars. One of the salesmen who we had was very rushed and tried to sell us the car without properly telling us the features and didn't even know the kms it had done (demo car). Our contract wasn't even properly filled out by them with parts of the vehicle details missing. And be extra aware of handing your deposit becuase you probably won't see it back if you change your mind. Overall, very bad experience.

Wasn't too impressed with their customer service. Was walking around the show room for about 5 minutes and wasn't approached once (the one time when you actually want a sales person to come and help you because you have questions!) Had to ask reception to get someone to come over and help when there were at least 2 sales people available (who were too busy having a chat to each other). When I'm ready to buy I'll be going to another Mazda dealership as I didn't feel welcome there, maybe next time I'll dress nicer and see if they approach me straight away.
EDIT: I purchased my new car at OLD MAC. wonderful team there. Thanks for making my choice easy and going elsewhere.

Andreas was super helpful, friendly, and honest regarding the models, price, features, etc. The finance guys Ben and Renne were very helpful and understanding of my financial situation and offered honest, practical solutions. There's a nice cafe inside the shop with refreshments. I would totally recommend this branch to purchase a Mazda car.

The whole process from test driving the car all the way to dealing with Mario the finance guy was a very easy and quick process. I recommend buying a car from them.

James was a deadly salesperson! He knew the produc...

James was a deadly salesperson! He knew the products well and took time to understand my needs... he even convinced me to test drive a few other vehicles just to be sure I was making the right choice. Things fell apart after we agreed on the sale and I was turned over from James to the rest of the gang.

After dealing with James I was forced to sit through a sales pitch on the merits of tinting windows and protecting paint. I don't know if this works on many people, but when things are sprung on me last minute I always so no. Give me time to research, and don't be tacky.

Following the surprise extras I went over to finance where things went well. Sadly things sat in that office for several days without update, pushing the delivery date of an in stock vehicle to 8 days from the sale date. Throughout the delay I pressed for details but didn't get anything of substance. Every call was placed on hold for 20 minutes (on average) before I was given a watered down excuse for why things were taking so long.

When I finally did pick up the vehicle the interest rate, finance terms, and a $500 mysterious extra were all silently added into the purchase price. At this point I didn't really care... just wanted to get my car and be done with them.

In the end I am happy with my vehicle and with James, but the rest of the Toowong gang were pretty useless and totally hopeless at customer service. Probably worth buying elsewhere, as once you shake hands the customer service really tanks.

After many months of wanting a Mazda CX-5 I called...

After many months of wanting a Mazda CX-5 I called around a number of dealerships to try and get my hands on a 2014 run-out model. After numerous phone calls to other Mazda dealers Justin Vollmost from Toowong Mazda took my call. He went to an extraordinary effort to take time off my hands and search for run-out models. When he was unable to get his hands on one because they had all gone he told me he could put me in a 2015 model within my same budget. I thought he was kidding at first but overnight he got there! He even worked closely with his finance team to assure me a great deal as well. To be honest I didn't actually meet Justin face-to-face until the delivery day, that is how much trust I had in him which most people would agree is hard to come by with a car dealer. Delivery day was very exciting, he set some solid time aside to take me through my new car, organise my free service, even set up my audio system and new car mats. Only a few days later he also checked in to ensure everything was running smoothly. So, if you are in the market for a new Mazda, make sure you contact Justin at Toowong Mazda... he will take care of you and make you feel confident in your choice and most importantly make buying a new car exciting, not stressful!

Could not describe a worse experience when wanting...

Could not describe a worse experience when wanting to purchase a new Mazda than the lack of service from Andreas and his appalling attitude.
Perhaps being in our weekend wear made Andreas feel he was superior to us, and therefore had the right to be condescending and down right rude.
We made the decision to walk off the lot, still unaware of the specific information we requested and were yelled at across the lot for our decision.
OUR RECOMMENDATION: avoid ANDREAS at all costs and buy elsewhere!!

Good presentation of the dealership, not to mention they have some great sales who knows what they are selling. Been to different dealerships around Birsbane, I would recommend dealing with Luke, he has great knowledge of Mazda cars he is selling and he would treat you with decency. You would not feel you are treated as another dollar sign walked in the shop. Great job!

Charles Antiporda (Sales Consultant at Toowong Mazda) is a great sales consultant!
The vehicle we just purchased (this time turbo engine) is our third Mazda CX5 Akera in the family (purchased in 2017, 2018 and 2020). Of cause we bought all three of them through Charles.

The service provided by Charles was fantastic and very helpful throughout the process of purchasing my CX-5. I was lucky enough to have a friendly and helpful professional like Charles, we never once felt pressured into the sale and he answered any questions or concerns we had.

We were super impressed again with the attention, respect, honesty and integrity of him, we did not hesitate and did the deal on the spot. We are very happy with CX-5 and Charles was outstanding, whole overall experience 10/10.

We look forward to purchase another vehicle from Charles in near future!

Charles helped us with our purchase of our Mazda and he was very patient and informative with descriptions of the model we were interested in. I was very impressed with his professionalism and especially being a Friday late afternoon/evening and the dealership was closing but he did not rush us and took time to explain the whole process as we had a lot of questions. Highly recommend Charles and if you are looking at buying then you definitely need to ask for him!!! I recently bought a Mazda CX-5 from Toowong Mazda Brisbane. Had a wonderful experience right from when I entered that place to look for a car till the time I drove back home with one!
Staff were very warm and friendly. The thing I appreciate the most was the affectionate nature of the staff at Toowong Mazda. Given that it was my first time buying a brand new car, I was explained all the minor details thoroughly. Overall, it was a great experience. Special thanks to Hunter and Ben for making things easy!

One of the, if not the worse experiences of customer service ever in my 42 years alive.

Bought a car over the internet and phone, more fool me to trust someone would tell the truth.

The comments below from others regarding the lack of care factor and attitude of the salesman. sale manager and finance personnel.....are completely echoed by me...unbelievable the lack of customer service and care factor.....just unbelievably disgusting

The entire experience is one i would not wish on anyone, and how this $20K+, 4.5 yr old used vehicle even got a roadworthy through their workshop amazes me, as it failed an inspection a week later interstate on numerous things inc 2 x un-roadworthy tyres.

Vehicle also has hail damage (Was told it must of happened in transport after it left the yard Na sorry I checked the weather report and the i spoke with the previous owner),

Visual evidence of previous rear end accident damage repaired

Non roadworthy mechanical issue - The day it came off the transporter - the vehicle required a $600 part + labour not covered "in there opinion" under stat warranty

Beware! These people just tried to con my elderly...

Beware! These people just tried to con my elderly Mother!
She received a call while shopping and waiting for her Mazda 2 to be serviced. "Your tyres are illegal and you need new ones", she was told. And they wanted $160, for EACH tyre! The tyres on Mum's Mazda 2 are no where near the tread wear markers on the inside of the tread, and I estimate at least another 10000 kms before they need to be changed. Tyres for this size car are about $80, NOT $160!

I don't understand how and why Mazda allows such a terrible customer service at this dealership. I never heard in any business that salesman tell the prospects who has cash in his pocket to buy a car that his offer has offended him!!!! how come a consumers offer be offensive to salesman!!! and even if it does, do you know how the prospect feel when a sales rep say that on his face in front of his wife and kid???? you have no idea Toowong Mazda... you need to fine tune your sales practices.. your sales reps needs to be polite and treat every customer with integrity. Putting suite and tie on doesn't win the customer but treating them with respect and equal value does.
Mazda has lost one sale last week and many more in the future because word of mouth is a strongest and proven sales tool.
