Great place, close to everything and the beach. Enjoyed breakfast and pools when not out and about.

Great reception,great friendly staff and great food at the lotus restaurant. I stayed at the deluxe at the lagoon which has great activities available for adults and children such as the water bar and for children the 2 slides.i reccomend this hotel. sure to come back

4 star hotel but rooms are in need of refurbishment

Pool area often covered with leaves and unbrushed. Towels grubby or missing. Breakfast unpredictable. Maintaince taking place but overall tired and in need of facelift.

Great family activities Tin & Malinka & Mei provided a great service for the kids and kept them entertained

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we had (pool cabana room) was fantastic - a spa pool big enough to seat 4-6 if needed (room only sleeps 2) in a private garden courtyard out the front of the room, and a high-walled rear courtyard with a second outdoor shower.
Our room was serviced twice every day.
The room was maybe a little dated, but we would definitely stay again. The gardens throughout the resort are beautiful, the pools (3) are great. Fantastic buffet breakfast. We didn't eat other meals in the resort, because there are so many eating options right outside the door.
The location is excellent - walk to the beach in about 3 min, walk to the temple market, shops/restaraunts/massages/everything right outside the resort. We loved it.

Really beautiful place to stay wifi isn't free for unlimited access its $1000thb beautiful breakfast every morning really friendly stuff/most of them for a shuttle down to Phuket It's self/patong is $100thb cheaper then getting a taxi and they offer a ride back as well

We stayed here on our honeymoon.We had the honeymoon suite which was absolutely beautiful,with rose petals on the bed & a plate of fruit.The balcony had a Jacuzzi & the view was amazing.Plenty of restaurants & pools aswell which was great.The thai people are definitely the friendliest people we have ever meet.Recomend this hotel,thanks so much

We stayed at the resort for 5 days. Well worth the money spent.

Centara Karon was the best. Room clean swimming pool extremely clean. Staff very friendly and professional. The resort has more than 2 swimming pools. I think they can improve on breakfasts though at least to have many options to choose it but not bad. I loved staying there

Just returned from a 10 day stay at the Centara Karon, we found everything was great including location, food,service, facilities, staff, cooking class etcetera. Definitely recommend it.

Very beautiful green area, three pools, ldin for adults only. There is a tennis kurt, fitness center, spa.

Beautiful scenery but not the room aren t ready and convenient

The staff at Centara Karon Resort Phuket are so friendly, helpful and always smiling. More than enough choice for breakfast, which was lovely. Hotel Is well maintained and very clean. Short walk to the beach. I can t fault this hotel.

You can even drink water at the hotel. Photo, for example, at the Domodedovo hotel is 890 units, and in a bayoka sky, there are only 154 units

Good for family and kid, good staff and friendly. The old tower need to improve some accessory. Close the Karon walking street.

Hotel staff were excellent when we first arrived. The room is well equipped and comfortable. However the room was on the smaller side. Breakfast was included as part of our package and it was pleasant enough providing a wide variety of foods. I highly recommend Centara Karon on the basis of value for money and staffing.

Just returned from this hotel after a 2 week stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful ,everywhere was very clean and the breakfast was faultless. I would recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again, only a two minute walk to the beach well worth a visit.

Hotel is ok - beds comfy, good layout of rooms but in need of an update. Kids entertainers were amazing. Breakfast very mediocre. Cramped restaurant, few options. I understand they usually have two restaurants open for breakfast but due to lower numbers it was decided to have one only. Waiting in line for breakfast like its king's Cross in 2003 is not a great way to start the day or get return customers. 7 deep at the egg station!
Pools were nice, three in total. The waterfall they have cascading over the pool bar is pretty annoying as it's difficult to hear and you get water in your drink. Nothing like a long island with a hint of chlorine.
Would I go back ? We'll see....

Very expensive a lot of additional costs that gets added to your bill, eg. 17% gets charged additional on every bill at the hotel (this was not charged on the first two days of our stay and no one could explain this yo us), the average massage at the hotel is between 1000 - 2000 Baht(you can have a Thai massage for 300Baht just around the corner at a local spa). Our room was only cleaned at 3pm in the afternoon. The staff was not as friendly as at our previous hotel. There were many communication errors due to the staff not understanding English (this was not the case at our previous hotel).

So here all perfect we have nothing to say service to 6 star hotel staff quality we had a dream holiday our child he was delighted to be there and we too and we hope to return again it's really paradise thank you once again responsible for the hotels and especially big big thank you to all the staff of woman to housekeeper server receptionist everyone a huge thank you for your service your effort that makes you how feels like kings thank you thank you thank you

Not bad overall. Big resort. Decent sized rooms. Close to town and only 5 minutes walk to beach. To get free wifi in room, have to join their loyalty card (for free). Speed is great for wifi though. Guests seem to be made up of tour groups.

It was excellent because the hotel staff take care of everybody. Thank you to the best entertainment team ever. Tin Mei and Joe thank you. We had such a beautiful time.

If you are looking for a good resort family for the price, Karon is better than Patong.
Large, diverse and satisfying pool

A lovely resort, with everything you need for a great holiday.

Beautiful resort that is quite spread out. A lot of greenery makes it more private and secluded from hustle and bustle of the busy streets. Beach is only a five minute walk away. Plenty of shops and restaurants even closer. Lovely, delicious food in the hotel and a very good selection for breakfast and for the themed nights buffets. Helpful staff.

Great hotel! Very nice, kind and attentive animators! Constantly play and draw with the kids! Water aerobics with everyone! Very nice and unobtrusive! We return to this hotel from year to year!

The best family resort in Thailand, we have a family of 5 our 3 kids absolutely love it.. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay, staff are the most friendliest people you could ask for.. Tin is the main entertainment man and his crew are just as awesome.. You won't be disappointed coming here.. Can't wait to come back, we will miss them all...

Great hotel. Adult only pool was wonderful and location very convenient. The staff are great and really helpful - Tin, May and Joe especially went out of their way to help us during our stay which was greatly appreciated !!

Been there twice and would happily go back. Went there for a honeymoon and back with 2 kids. Very well priced, large well maintained resort and on a more family friendly part of the island.

our second visit here and it was better than the first. Staff are all friendly. Rooms by the Lagoon are awesome. Pay the extra for a ground floor room. Easy accept to all 3 pools. Plenty of cheap restaurants just outside the main gate. Perfect for families with kids

Typically resort, mass produced food, expensive food and drink. Good for families, as it's geared up for them, so I strayed in the adult section

Just off the main strip but you could be in the jungle. We would go back as we like to be able to wander from our base without the hassle of taxis. Also means you are not tied to eating at the hotel in the evenings which is a bonus here as the restaurant looked pretty quiet in the evening.

A stale and old-fashioned hotel, not at the price level expected

Our stay at Centara Karon Resort was absolutely amazing. My family stayed here for 8 nights and what made our trip extra special was the beautiful people we met who operate the kids club and entertainment. We formed such a special bond with Tin, Marinka and Mei and are going to miss the so much. Fantastic resort and fantastic people. Thank you.

Good 4 star hotel. Room is cleaned every day, there are pools. Everything is on the level.

Still in the resort now and its fab you have 2 adult pools and 1 kids pool. Its got hotels and bungalows the bungalow has a front garden covered by trees its just so pretty

Fantastic experience at Centara Karon resort . My husband and I enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We were very well looked after. The staff were fantastic and also have great customer service.
Our honeymoon getaway was successful at the resort.

Best place to stay in phuket. Ideally suited for someone who wants to stay in a more peaceful area. Very close to the beach, plenty of eatery.

The room is clean but may be a little old. Breakfast okay, eatable in general The sea room is close to the restaurant. The music is very loud. In the room still clearly heard If sleeping hard Recommend sleeping at home villa Better to be calm

Very bad reception system chick in at 3 and chick out at 11 am you can't even be ready to leave very poor system

The program for the children is so well recommended. I am not satisfied with Club Med.
The Kids Club, however, does not allow children to leave the resort.

Great location, probably best hotel in area near Karon beach. Food was so-so, average I guess, but plenty of choices nearby. Only complaint is pool closes at 7:00 pm. Way to early for the very hot nights.

An excellent resort for family holidays with kids. Two pool areas, one for kids the other for adults. Staff for the most part were friendly and helpful and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Immediately outside the resort are many bars and restaurants, massage and spa places along with a few mini marts and street vendors. Plenty of stuff to do, day or night.

It's a nice clean facility people are lovely and close to shops and beach

This resort was a perfect spot for our family holiday. I highly recommend staying here. Rooms were very clean and linen changed on a daily basis. Excellent activities for the kids and it is situated in a spot walking distance to the shops. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and would go above and beyond to make your stay a pleasant one. Cannot wait to come back here.

Love this hotel, away from the main road and only a 2-minute walk to the beach. The rooms are large and well priced. We didn't go for a sea-view room, which actually ended up being better. We had a cracking view over the pool onto the misty mountains every morning. The pool is massive, so it's never too full. The restaurant is great, serves massive breakfasts with a fantastic selection of food. The food is more expensive than the village, but it's a better quality. Will definitely go again.

Accommodation is not bad. Pools are pretty good. Food and services in the resort are expensive compared to what you can find just outside the gate. Most staff struggle with basic English. The entertainment crew are European and great. Talk to them if you have dramas. They go out if their way to help and are great with the kids. They were the Best thing about the resort.
We had breakfast included but found the food to be average at best at both restaurants. The larger restaurant was busy for breakfasts because it had more variety but was always a struggle to get to the food because of the small serving area and lots of people. Keep an eye on the eggs. Most often they were very raw. My son got food poisoning from the room service as well.
