Celebrations in the Kitchen Review

As a previous employee (I quit a few months ago) I can definitely say celebrations is a great place to have your kids birthday parties but it is not a great place to work at all!! I am still in contact with the current employees and they still have no rights whatsoever. We used to get no breaks (even in eight hour workdays and only had a minute to eat, that also while standing since there are no places to sit). Only thing I can say to the parents who decide to have their parties here is to be kind to the workers (they do not make the rules!!). Also if you want to give a tip, give it directly to the worker otherwise they re never gonna see it again.

My sister in law had my nephews 7th birthday party here. There were about 25 kids and can not say enough good things about the party!! First off, it was a nice surprise for the bakery to have unlimited coffees and lattes for all the adults. Since I am a big coffee drinker, a huge plus! The man who led the party seemed to really enjoy instructing my nephew and his friends how to make and decorate the cookies and the process involved in cooking in the kitchen. They had a wide variety of different toppings for the cookie decorating. All of the kids left with lots of cookies and were entertained the entire time which we know is hard to do for 6 and 7 year olds! I would recommend this type of birthday party or event from age 4-13.

The customer service here is AMAZING. I ordered a 4th of July cake from them and they answered all my questions promptly. The cake was DELICIOUS and so easy to decorate. I just ordered a custom cake design and they worked with me so well to make sure it was exactly as I wanted. The staff is so nice and so helpful. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their customer service. And the delicious, GORGEOUS cakes are the cherry on top. I can't recommend them enough

Celebration in the Kitchen is more than just a business. It is run by a family with an abundance of love, compassion and kindness. The cookies and cupcakes are amazing. All you have to do is bake, frost and decorate. This is a business that really cares about its customers. When Virginia (owner) found out my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer, she wrote me comforting and supportive notes, made pink ribbon cookies for the staff and baked cupcakes for her last day of chemo. I can t say enough about this wonderful business!

We had the most wonderful experience working with Celebrations In the Kitchen for my sisters surprise Sprinkle. Mike and his staff were extremely helpful, professional and fun to work with. They helped to plan and execute a fantastic baking class! Can't wait to go back!

My daughter had her 9th birthday party here yesterday and it was so fun! Her party was to bake cupcakes from scratch and to decorate some. All of the kids ages 5-11 had a fun time. Most never baked before so it was extra fun to see them use the mini spatulas and trying to mix and put the batter into the muffin tins. Both Mike (party planner) and our helper for the party, Christine, were super helpful all throughout. In-house made pizza and juices were provided to all guests and you can even pick a theme for the party room. The decorations and especially the birthday cake they provided was beautifully decorated. We chose a unicorn themed event and it was awesome. Would totally recommend this place, this cupcake party and the cookie one.

This is the best place to have your birthday party in Long Island. Kids of every age will enjoy the experience. So many different themes to choose from. Mike and his staff are excellent. Every detail is taken care of for you. You never have to be stressed and the party always goes off with no issues. Thanks again

This place only wants to make money. My order I placed for my niece did not get there on time even though I did their spend over $100 and get 2 day priority shipping for free . My wife spoke to Mike over the phone and he could care less and told her that it is the customers fault for not reading the fine print that states they have no control over the shipping. They just want to take your money. Mike is very disrespectful to customs and he will not be getting our business again. I would not recommend this company.

Just had our daughter s 6th bday party and had a great time. Mike & helpers ran the party smoothly and took care of everything. It was a fun experience!

We just had a 6th birthday party for our daughter with her cousins in attendance age ranging from 6-12. I would recommend this place 100%!!! Mike and the staff were courteous and professional. Everyone really enjoyed themselves! Also, the pizza they provide is made in-house and delicious! We plan on coming back to hold other parties there!

My favorite bakery since I was little. They have the best parties and their staff and owners are the best! All their baked goods are divine, and I was so excited that they expanded their business into cake kits and what not so i could get a piece of them at home during COVID. Will definitely be buying more !

The kids had a great time making their own pizza and then their own cookie dessert to take home. I have to say being that they were four and five-year-olds I was not so sure it was a great idea to have them in the kitchen. But my three and five year old both had a blast.

my experience with your products was amazing. Not only was the directions so clear and easy to follow, the cookies and cake tasted fabulous. I even thought I was a serious baker!

the level of service was superb. Any questions I had were quickly and easily addressed. The staff are so knowledgeable and personable.

the quality of the kit was in mint condition and so easy to utilize. I would recommend this product to people of all ages. It s great for families and expands my baking abilities. Everyone who knew what I was doing wanted to participate and it was such fun!

I plan on purchasing a lot of products on a consistent basis to enjoy myself and to make and gift to everyone I can think of especially for holidays and birthdays.

Please don t ever stop doing this business. It brings so much joy to everyone besides being absolutely delicious!!!
