Never thought (from the name alone) that this is a hugely extensive store with staff who help you well expertly even with parts that they don't have to do at all. Top store !!

My story on which I base this review (conclusion below):

I wanted to build a PC myself for the first time and to be able to do that I searched for information on the internet. Some subjects that I did not understand, I could check with the staff here without much difficulty. I had bought a food that did not fit in my closet, the employee had recommended me a smaller and cheaper one that works just as well as the old food. The employee quickly checked whether all parts were in the box and took my old food. When I had built it did not work so I had it built by the staff. It was finished after 1 day, the cabling and layout in the cabinet looked very neat and taut. Because I missed a cable myself, I got it for free

conclusion: a store where you can do your business without worries, sometimes they go a step further for the customer.

Handsome store as there are not many more. Good prices. No 24h service.

CD-ROM land is in my opinion the best service provider in the field of computers in the wider area. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, and the prices are not absurdly high.

THE computer store in Breda. Wide range, especially in parts for desktops and laptops. Specialized in gaming. The sellers all know the materials, in contrast to things like Mediamarkt and BCC. The store has its own Technical Service above the store and they take the time for extensive advice. Price level is slightly higher, but they also often have great offers.

Very slow repair. Undersized treatment. Bad service. Unable or unwilling to listen to complaints. Do not do business with it.

Fantastic store. One of the largest computer stores I know with a fully-fledged display room and a large number of selling staff. The service department also takes care of everything. Reliable address and a household name for many years.

Bought a pair of headphones but when returning home the sound quality was extremely poor.
The bass was totally absent so not to hear.
So I brought this back.
Well that did not go according to them ???
They did not take back headphones.
They were still "friendly" to test the headphones.
Their conclusion the sound was fine.
After many threats I still got money back.
They did not like that some customers even walked out the door because I kept nagging.
So I will never go back there again.
Long live Alternate and all other computer stores in the Netherlands that know what customer-friendliness is.

Particularly bad experience with this store when it comes to customer service. If you buy something here that turns out to be broken, you are expected to dock 45 euros so that they can experience it themselves, for warranty and normal reactions from staff you certainly do not have to go to this case.

Staff are allergic to Apple products. I was looking for a docking station for a macbook pro to connect it to a number of monitors. The employee started to look dirty when I told him that the laptop only had USB-C Thunderbolt ports. They were then said to be a windows focused store ....

They do, however, have apple accessories, iphones and even macbooks for sale on their website ....

I always come there for my Windows PC and I always receive good help. But since I'm programming on a Mac, it means they can't / won't help me.

Next time I will try it at another store first

2 weeks before Christmas placed an order in the store. The item was in stock and would be delivered 3 days 4 days later. When it all seemed to be taking longer, I started calling. They couldn't promise anything. Now, 3 days after Christmas still nothing. Called again. Item would have been ordered 100 times but delivery time unknown. The earlier stock from which I would receive 1 was probably delivered to others. Very bad business. They will never see me again!

Very nice store with good service and employees with knowledge of products. Definitely recommended for all your IT purchases.

The last real computer shop in the area. Beautiful store with a wonderful range, you can get better ideas for your new setup here. Especially keep it up.

Various pc products and prices, and even if people mispronounce the name of what you are looking for, they try to find the right product without laughing at you.

Pleasant shop, helpful staff. Due to the closed glass cabinets it sometimes takes a long time to buy something quickly.

Soon 20 minutes inside to buy a mouse (Find a mouse in the shop window, wait in the queue, point the mouse to the staff, walk back to the cash register, pay)

Nice store, lots of computer supplies. Friendly staff who can help you select the right hardware component. Only downside is the limited parking spaces outside.

At CD-Rom-land you will always be helped neatly and well. I always buy my computer parts here and I always do this with pleasure. Staff is nice and gives good advice! Return within warranty and if it does not work or does not work is never a problem!

Very poor service when it comes to help with older equipment. You will be treated like a 19th century zombie. Very bad. Worthless actually. I don't always go there to buy something new. Equipment that also works very well sometimes needs some attention. No, according to these gentlemen. Throwing away and buying new is the advice. I no longer just go here. Lost another loyal customer.

I am happy that there is another computer specialist like this one. Honest advice can certainly be found here, nice that they also take products back within 30 days if it is not exactly what you were looking for, came in handy when I could not get used to my new monitor. I come here every week for my hardware. I recommend it! Staff with friendly service, good knowledge and certainly not the most expensive.

Would recommend making purchases physically due to unprofessional online customer service. Sent a broken graphics card and after a heated email discussion, a lady from online customer service returns it without looking for image output. However, company staff proved there was definitely no output, in a professional and friendly manner, and they have an extensive collection of everything for building your own computer and associated accessories.
