CCRI: Providing Affordable Student Housing in Toronto Since 1936
Welcome to Campus Co-operative Residence Inc. (CCRI), Canada's oldest student housing co-operative located in the heart of Toronto, Ontario. For over 80 years, CCRI has been providing affordable off-campus accommodation for post-secondary students pursuing their education in Toronto.
At CCRI, we understand that finding affordable and comfortable housing can be a challenge for students. That's why we offer a unique co-operative living experience that is both affordable and supportive. Our members are not just tenants; they are part of a community that works together to maintain and improve our properties.
Our houses are located in some of the most desirable neighbourhoods in Toronto, including Annex, Kensington Market, Little Italy, and Chinatown. Each house has its own unique character and charm while still offering modern amenities such as high-speed internet access.
We offer a variety of room types to suit different needs and budgets. From single rooms to shared apartments with multiple bedrooms, we have something for everyone. All our rooms come fully furnished with everything you need to feel at home.
Living at CCRI means more than just having an affordable place to stay; it means being part of a community that supports each other through the ups and downs of student life. We offer social events throughout the year where members can get together and make new friends while enjoying all that Toronto has to offer.
Our co-operative model also means that members have a say in how our organization is run. We hold regular meetings where members can voice their opinions on issues affecting our community or propose new initiatives.
In addition to providing affordable housing for students, CCRI is committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental impact. We have implemented several green initiatives such as composting programs at all our houses and energy-efficient appliances.
At CCRI, we believe that everyone deserves access to safe, comfortable housing while pursuing their education. Our commitment to affordability combined with our supportive community makes us an ideal choice for post-secondary students looking for off-campus accommodation in Toronto.
