I really recommend the visit which allows you to have another vision of wine making in a cooperative cellar. The final tasting was really very interesting. It should also be noted that the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable
Good reception very good choice of wine at all prices
great experience and excellent tour in the 'cave'. Thanks Dorine for the guiding tour en tasting.
An important choice, staff available, attentive and competent
Representative cellar of regional production. Sales area pleasant to browse.
Very wide range in terms of products and prices.
The detour is required if you want to complete your cellar.
Inescapable when you are in the area. Very large selection and tasting on site.
Very good wine, the winemakers present this morning are passionate about the price of some bottles skyrocketing.
The tasting is a real plus.
Not possible to visit with my guide dog, being visually impaired, my friends did it alone, I did not want to deprive them because of my disability.
What is however prohibited by the law according to the decree 2005 1714 of the 29/12/2005.
Cornas, St Joseph, Hermitage. No need to write more :-).
We were very happy with our visit to the cellar on Sunday June 22. A big thank you to Marie for her explanations. The 5 wines (4 parcels & 1 Hermitage) tasted during the visit allow the visit to be concluded in the best possible way.
Very welcoming. pleasant wines in the mouth. Small flat no light commercial gestures ....
Beautiful cellar, a wide choice of wine from the most luxurious to the most affordable, there is something for all tastes, the most the possibility to taste the wines, with moderation of course !!
Very satisfying experience!
A la carte tasting, a large number of wines, and a pleasure for the taste buds!
Welcome, quality wines, a must for lovers of the vineyard!
So I'm not at all of this opinion ... I drank the simple odds of the supermarket rhone which is more dreamy than croze or other st joseph that I tasted at this place .. Simple waste of time. Wine without souls to know that in time that "particular" you will have only to taste 5 wines .. going of hermitage to the crze .. After having esayer 3 which I thought to want to make the acquisition ... I asked to taste something that matched my expectations, I was made to taste a wine that was not available for sale ..: / .. to offer me a catalog for which I should have believed the person who was to taste on word ..: - / .. Go there just if you want to drink 1 a 2 glasses for free..but the affordable prices of wines is justified by their poor quality ...
At the moment, the boutique is renovated and the wine is very good. Another attraction is the cable car ride to Chapel l
Super home ... Good wines ... Tasting ... To do and see
Good tastings offered the wines are well presented, we see the cellar with the big barrels of the interior of the gallery
Blns wines to taste and buy at any price. Crozes Hermitage, St Peray, St Joseph. By cons, parking reduced ... Very very few places ... Not practical ...
Very nice cellar. Very good wine at an affordable price. Good welcome. For the price there is nothing to say
Nice place to find good wines from the region with a tasting bar and all the information you want on the wines!
Very friendly welcome, very good wines to taste, at all prices.
Well received well advised. Perfect tasting. You have to take a look.
Always good wines and good advice! I will come back again, sure!
The woman was extremely unhelpful! Not friendly! I just shook my head. Not the person you want representing your brand!!
Very informative and friendly moment, very good team, very good explanations and very good advice
Tasting and good advice for choosing the right bottle (s)
Pleasant and personal setting available
Reasonable price and good quality wines
Good wines at prices quite correct. Very good staff very friendly
Very welcome, as usual
itude
Very good cellar close to the highway exit! No excuse not to go there
Very light home
Pity
Better in previous years
Affordable prices but also bottles that will never fit into my budget lol but we can taste some wine to know if we make the right choice .... The plus is that each bottle bought a nice little bag for the transport is offered and if boys buy 2 or 3 we put them in a nice cardboard box (free) also .... Basically you could offer a nice box with 3 good bottle for not even 18 ... I recommend 100%
Terrible home, incompetent saleswoman.
Question: What is the ideal guarding temperature of the hermitage?
Answer: I do not know how to go on the INTERNET.
It looks more like a supermarket (including caddies) than a tasting cellar. Everything is centered on the purchase of wine from the cellar. You can have a tasting and the staff are attentive and professional, to the extent of their abilities because the crowd is enormous. The wines tasted were all well below average for average prices. The price-pleasure ratio is not there.
We did not go to the "VIP" lounge to taste the exceptional wines.
Very nice cellar with good wine. Possibility to taste. Welcoming staff
Welcoming, we had a great time. To do if you are visiting Tain l'hermitage.
One of the best cooperative with plot vintages of very good value for money
Pleasant place. But having no knowledge of wine, the welcome and the advice did not convince me.
I left disappointed, I made my purchases and will make a real opinion when opening the bottles.
Excellent value.
Very pleasant and completely competent tasting hostess.
I recommend!
Successful open house.
Super welcome.
a very interesting information, tasting and buying site
Tasting in white Les 3 lys 2019: an enchantment with rays wings, cream sauce, lemon, capers. Also tried with saffron scallops. Very well too.
Well done @
Cellar very nice or buy good wines without breaking the bank .....
Cave de Tain L'Hermitage: A Legacy of Sustainable Viticulture and Exceptional Wines
Since 1933, Cave de Tain L'Hermitage has been a renowned producer of exceptional wines, with a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture. The company's story is one of family spirit, exceptional vineyards, and world-renowned wines that are appreciated by wine lovers around the globe. With a rich program of oenotourism throughout the year, visitors can experience the magic of Cave de Tain firsthand.
The History of Cave de Tain L'Hermitage
Cave de Tain was founded in 1933 by Louis Gambert de Loche, who had a vision to create exceptional wines from the Hermitage hillside. Over time, his passion for winemaking was passed down through generations and today it is still run as a family business.
The company's philosophy is based on respect for nature and sustainability. They believe that great wine comes from healthy vines grown in harmony with nature. As such, they have implemented sustainable viticulture practices across their vineyards.
Exceptional Vineyards
Cave de Tain owns over 300 hectares (740 acres) of vineyards across several appellations in the Rhône Valley region. Their flagship vineyard is located on the famous Hermitage hillside which produces some of France's most prestigious wines.
The Hermitage hillside has been recognized as one of France's greatest terroirs since Roman times due to its unique microclimate and soil composition. The vines here are planted on steep slopes which provide excellent drainage and exposure to sunlight resulting in grapes with intense flavors.
In addition to their Hermitage vineyard, Cave de Tain also owns vineyards in other appellations such as Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph where they grow Syrah grapes for their red wines along with Marsanne and Roussanne grapes for their white wines.
World-Renowned Wines
Cave de Tain produces an impressive range of reds, whites, rosés along with sparkling wines under various labels including "Grand Classique", "Les Hauts du Fief", "Saint-Joseph" among others.
Their flagship wine is undoubtedly the Hermitage Rouge which has consistently received high ratings from critics worldwide due to its complexity and depth. It is made from Syrah grapes grown on steep slopes overlooking the Rhône river giving it an intense flavor profile characterized by black fruit notes along with hints of spice and leather.
Another notable wine produced by Cave de Tain is their Crozes-Hermitage Les Hauts du Fief Blanc made from Marsanne grapes which have been aged in oak barrels giving it a rich texture along with aromas of honeyed fruits like apricot or peach combined with floral notes like acacia or honeysuckle making it perfect pairing for seafood dishes or creamy cheeses like brie or camembert.
Sustainable Viticulture Practices
