Large store with a large variety of items. Items are priced really reasonable. Kind of a treasure hunt experience. I saw several vintage mid century items though out the store!! Lots of cats up for adoption which warms my heart. Young man at the register today, was really friendly and welcoming. I ll be back again for sure!

They said they accepted everything. And for the first 14 pickup truck loads - no problem. I am involved with NCSU student housing international grad students. They lease unfunished and dump a lot of new stuff when they move on. I do not get paid to transport these items. One of the items was mattresses. On the 15 load - the smallest - a grocery bag of shoes and one twin mattress - I received a receipt. The items were also visually accepted by two employees. I left. 5:30 that night I get a call from the Raleigh Police. The officer did not state what he wanted other than to speak to me on my driveway. I was in Charlotte at the time. 30 days latter the police called to say a warrant was issued for littering. They said the mattress had bedbugs. Instead of dumping the mattress in one of their two dumpsters, they called the police. I was handcuffed, my picture posted on Slammer magazine, bond was required, three court appearances, and the exposure to identify theft even after dismissal.

All merchants dealing with used mattresses are required by law to heat treat all and tag to eliminate bacteria and bedbugs.

I surrendered - was arrested, handcuffed, fingerprinted, photographed, required to post bond, and still have my photo in The Slammer Magazine. After posting bond and taking time off work three times the case was dismissed. To that time I, at age 65, did not even have a speeding ticket. And I thought by diverting items from the refuse stream I was doing good.

I am not happy.

The staff take great care of the kittens and cats!...

The staff take great care of the kittens and cats! They are respectful to the animals by requiring people to be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult to handle the kittens. Their litter boxes are always clean and they have clean water and food. The animals seem so happy and that's a sign they're being treated with care! Staff is friendly and I love spending time looking for good finds. I've gotten a lamp, several fabrics for projects, several bags, shoes, clothing, baby clothing, and some furniture! I've found some pretty sweet deals for the kitchen as well.

Great thrift store with a lot of women's clothing. The prices are around 3 dollars and some change for tops and around 4 dollars for bottoms. They do have certain tag colors that will be a percentage off also. Today they happened to have a sale b3g1 free on all the clothing which was also pretty awesome! If you're lucky you may even find some hidden gems that still have tags on them. I consider this a must visit thrift store in the area. Make sure you allow yourself a lot of time because the clothing is not organized by size--just color. If you're a cat person they have cats inside the store that you can adopt and play with. Everyone working here is super nice! Cards can be used unless you want to buy some snacks/candy/soda at the register.

I m glad I don t have kids yet....all my mother and I heard was nothing but cussing and other vulgar remarks. It s a shame cause we love to support local businesses and anything animal, but some of the workers (not them all) were just very loud. Could also use some organizing!
I love the finds in all the paws for cause places! (:

When I arrived 20 minute ago noticed a dog in the car next to mine. 75 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Came out after 15 minutes. Dog in car, panting hard. Let staff in Cause for Paws know about pet in car. Response was that they can t and won t do anything about it. Hard to want to contribute to an organization that doesn t even want to ask its customers to take care of the safety of their own pets. At this temperature with no shade a car can reach over 100 degrees with the windows cracked. Reported to Animal Control

This place is terrible. They have OUTRAGEOUS pricing on broken and dirty merchandise. They had a cracked fish tank for 9.99. Thats not too bad, a new one sells for 12 at walmart but keep in mind its cracked. I go back next week and they put a new sticker over 9.99 and are now charging 19.99 for the broken tank! I bought a sun lamp for my lizards that was in its original packaging, right next to the price was a label saying please dont open the box. I bring it home and the damn thing is broken! Practically cracked in half! Also some of the tiny knick knacks they have, have price tags over the original showing that CFP is charging more than whatever store they were retailing in. I think someone should take a look at how much of this profit is going towards helping animals. These people are crooks.
