Didn't really help at all. Nothing was explained nor was instruction clear at all. The chapel was CLOSED and they said to house a covid patient. Really? In the same room where the kitchen supplies are kept? No bathroom facility? Not very sanitary in my opinion. Bodily excretion in that type of environment is most definitely unsanitary and dangerous.

Awsome staff with a great 120 day program for everyone that is ready to start fixing there lives. There is a transition program at Smith road that you appt for at samaritan house. And if qualified are given an assigned bed and unit to store your belongings. The program here is the most successful in the country with a 50% success rate that the people who graduate stay updated about there living and job situation. Veteran can do the GPD program that allows them residency for up to one year as long as they are saving money and staying sober.

Hi Jamie when I had came here the very first day. I started to realize it was very cozy. Because at first living on the streets it was like inside of a garbage can so I just pray to god that I will find others. I came all the way from Colorado fort collins. The weather here seem alot colder. When I lefted on the 18th of Oct. It was 12 degrees so cold. Jamie Just now out looking for Jobs and more opportunities to seek!

I was hugely disappointed by my interaction with this office this week which only multiplies the reasons to distance myself from the church that I was raised in. I mentor a family that immigrated from Afghanistan 3 years ago on Special Immigrant Visas after their dedicated work in the American embassy in Kabul. We had been referred to this CC office to get some questions about citizenship for them and then try to find a path for their nephew to come here from Germany. The front desk person was less than helpful and throughout the interaction she and others assumed that this couple was Spanish....giving them spanish material and asking if the needed a spanish including the woman consulting as their attorney, Cheryl Martinez Gloria, who apparently runs the immigrant advice program. Ms. Martinez Gloria was not only condescending in her interactions with the husband and wife, she was downright disrespectful of me as someone that has been assisting this family for 3 years and incapable of understanding how there may be nuance to legal conversations with them that may be hard for this couple to understand who has a limited understanding of English. The woman who took information from the family was hostile to me and unwilling to admit that she might not have told me on the phone about a $35 cash fee....insisting that it was not her mistake but my "misunderstanding" . The entire experience represented the opposite of the servant mentality upon which the best of the catholic church is built and a slap in the face of this Muslim couple seeking help who have served our country with diligence.

Very upset after I left this Establishment. This is supposed to be a place where people come to seek aid even hope, but this is not the case. The front desk has an older lady that has such a bad attitude it rubs you the wrong way. This is sad because it's already a difficult process trying to ask for help. I hope they fix this issue, because it can effect the families who really need the help, this can be there only hope, and one bad attitude can make them run away and seek aid elsewhere. Won't be applying thru Catholic charities ever again

Catholic Charities helped me with a public service bill years ago. It got me back on my feet the next month. I appreciated it, and even though its been a long time I still appreciate it!

I'm going to donate this month, if you can donate you should too. So many reviews here are people needing money not people who got it and are saying thank you.

This is the most horrible place to live for elderly. One of the two elevators in this building has not worke for longer than a week. The manager and assustant manager are flippant and rude. They yell and are verbally abusive as well as bullying to residents. They are in our apartments constantly invading our privacy. Terrible place. I am sure all the buildings run by this archdiocese are just as bad.

Catholic Charities which is operated by the Archdiocese of Denver and their organization is nothing but a front for slum Lords. They are not doing anything to address the problems with the elevator or the bedbug infestation at their Golden Spike Apartments property. They are only all to glad to take my rent and collect the Housing Subsidy from HUD. But care very little about the health and safety of their tenants. The elevator has been broken since I moved in May 2018. There are nothing but excuses for why. I thank The Power's That Be that I am not in a wheelchair or dependent upon a walker to get around. But their ads on the Internet clearly state they have an elevator. Bait and Switch advertising at it's best. If this building was managed by anyone else the Denver Fire Department would have closed it. But when you complain, their staff threatens you with eviction, cause they'll just confirming somebody else to move in. This establishment is nothing connected to a loving religious beliefs and only out to take people's money!

They are always out of funds. Holidays, summer, spring, it doesn't matter what season or time of the year. They are very greety. Use funds for their own people, as in their own family members/ frienda and within the organization itself. What a shame

They helped me get help/shelter/safety for my deeply troubled transient friend. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the compassion, professionalism, and genuine care we experienced with the entire staff at Catholic Charities.

I call every day at 8 am. On the verge of eviction. I'll be 5 in que and the call will end. So frustrating. I need help and I make sure I'm on top of things then boom. Call disconnected or the lady in the recording says to call later. I'll just live in my car ffs

Too bad I cannot give this a HORRIBLE rating but it is, if you are looking help from an attorney NEVER go to Jason Bocaccio, I have recommended people that have been "helped" by him and were very angry and in my personal experience with him he is a very rude person; he hates answering questions and will ignore you and/or he will tell you that his time is very valuable and he will refuse to answer anything. Jason will also try to get money from you by saying you need another consultation when you do not and charge you as a new customer, also for filing documentation he will charge you twice what the other attorney does, I confronted him about why he would charge me double when his coworker (Cheryl) charges half, at that point he became very angry and stopped answering. My acquaintances all coincide with this and we hope Catholic Charities will find an honest attorney willing to help rather than rip you off.
