There are mice traps in the rooms, the care takers have not check on my mom in 4 hours and there are dirty dishes still in room over 4 hours after she has eaten. This place I would not recommend for anyone they should not even get a star
As we're still in quarantine my family and I could not celebrate my Mom's 89th birthday with her. The staff/nurses at Catholic Care went above and beyond to celebrate her and share the day with us as best they could. Special shout out to Debra in Memory Care. Thanks for all the pictures & videos & visit chats!
This place was horrible to work. They put you on heavy halls as a new CNA and do not designate anyone to help you with lifts which require 2 people. No one goes out of their way to help. Horrible team like environment. They peg the staff against each other and have 0 professionalism. Put you in fear of doing your job instead of giving positive feed back to make you want to do better. The resident care is horrible because everyone hates their job here. Stop overworking your staff or allowing overtime and care more about your nurses. Nurses deserve better and the CNA's and CMA's. "Catholic" my a**!
Great place-- my mother was here 3 times and was given the very best each time!!!!
Caring staff. They hire very nice people to care for our loved ones. Incredible level of loving care in that building. They were so good to our Mother.
Catholic CARE not. All they care about is lining their pockets for the first time in years we had a DON who cared about us-her staff no matter what our title is she listened and cared about us and our residents she came in any time day or night and worked the floor helped feed residents whatever we needed she was there got us through a good survey which I can t remember when we had a good survey and what thanks did they give took her ADON away for 170 residents there was no way 1 person can oversee that many residents and staff. They pushed her out we will quickly go back to one of the worst nursing homes in town.
My father was in Memory care. Before Covid19, my mother and I went every weekend to see my father. He was very healthy other than his mind. He roamed constantly. Because they couldn't keep up with him, they wanted him out. The rest of the patients look like Zombies. They lost alot of my father's things, and the care wasn't up to standards. If you love your parents, don't put them here! They are only after your money
The Catholic Care Center has been a great experience for me. The opportunity to work in this ministry with the staff and especially the residents has so much meaning to me. I believe that God has chosen me to be a part of Catholic Care Center for my spiritual growth and so that I can experience his love through our patients, residents, and staff.
This facility did such a poor job of caring for my mother in 2009, I can't say anything good about them. She was in there care for 30 days and developed decubitus and severe infection in that decubitus during here stay there. Then on the day before she was to leave their facilty to be moved to a "Good" facility they hit her leg on something and caused a severe abrasion on her right shin and deep bruising. I am glad I was able to move her from this facility where she could receive the tender, loving care she deserved, and her body required. Ludwina Hancock
The employees remind me of robots. Some are professional, some are nice. A few are cranky and a few you couldn't understand a word out of their mouth.
My mother has been in assisted living for years. The staff are incredibly kind, caring and knowledgeable. The facility and grounds are lovely and the food is good with many options at every meal. I visit many times a week and as a former nursing administrator, have always been impressed with the quality of care provided. The staff are truly wonderful and I am thankful my mother has such excellent care - from everyone.
We visited during their trick or treat event. There are a lot of volunteers. The staff is knowledgeable. The rooms were small but very neat. They have great community involvement.
Great staff. Good food. They actually listen to you and care about you. I feel more valued here then I did at the hospital.
I stayed here after I broke on ankle and sprained the other. In the 6 days I stayed here I got thrush, diarrhea, a rash on my back and a chest cold. I wasn't treated for any of these although I complained about them. They regularly took up to an hour to bring me a pain pill. And they never gave me all my meds everyday. I was constantly having to keep track of what meds they had given me. I think the nurses need training in pain management. And in fact it was not uncommon for them to come to my room knowing that I had requested pain meds and yet they would br empty-handed. So they would leave and not come back for another hour. This is truly sadistic or ignorant of the best way to control pain. I am leaving to go home because anything is better then this place.
I've been in health services for 7 years. I've been a CNA, HHA, CMA, and a Hospice Aide. I was completely surprised at how poor of care my grandmother received at Catholic Care Center. Common Med Errors and lack of compassion was not a rarity. I have worked at facilities that were pressed for staff and where the acuity of patients was high yet even then I would say that it was not only the lack of care provided but also the attitude of many (not all) of the staff that would have me in no way recommend the facility to anyone.
Absolutely Love Catholic Care Center.!
The Atmosphere,The Great Food, Smiling Staff Faces, Quality Care..the list goes on..
Catholic Care Center is an amazing place. They treat the residents with the utmost respect, compassion, & empathy. It's always very clean & tidy. Truly a home away from home.
Great Staff; nurses, physical therapist, food handlers, Social Workers, and cleaning staff
The building and rooms have a clean, fresh smell where she is
They ALL treat my 84 year old mother with so much kindness, patience and respect. They are gentle with her.
Food has been very good she says. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food is served hot, salads are fresh, and very tasty.
They make sure she gets her shower and help her get dressed if needed. She gets her insulin and other medication in a timely manner.
If I had a complain it would be that the rooms are very small. However, that is the least of our concerns.
Due to pure negligence, my grandmother has fallen, gotten pneumonia 3 times, had COVID, which she could only have received from the staff since obviously in person visits with family members are restricted and recently had to have surgery because her feeding tube got infected, which literally only happens due to lack of proper care. I can t tell if your staff is poorly trained or you just don t give a f***. Don t take your loved ones here.
Exceptional campus! Serves great food in healthy portions. Staff is exceptionally kind and attentive. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, beautiful furnishings and plenty of engaging activities. Groundskeeping maintains the outdoors beautifully.
Catholic Care Center truly knows, loves, and serves its residents! As a not-for-profit healthcare ministry, they have dedicated their community to providing outstanding care to seniors and their families!
