Good bar food menu, great staff very friendly and helpful

Great place to bring colleagues for work dinners. Service is excellent!

Lovely hotel... staff are so friendly... and food is class

First time for visiting this hotel, although only for a meeting my experience was very favourable. The bar restaurant and general areas are well appointed and the food more than acceptable. I am reliably informed that the accommodation is to the same high standard so well recommend.

A very special decorative hotel. Attended post funeral meal. High quality food well presented. Nice atmosphere to suit occasion. Staff in all areas gentle and helpful. Near UCL that is also worth a visit.

We had a lovely lunch with Cryil Laffan on our way back from Cork.

Spent 6 nights there earlier this month. Lovely place, helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms. Loved the breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

The restaurant was terribly understaffed. By the time we had arrived there was about 10 tables who still hadn't been served.
I'm not very fussy waiting for food but we were waiting 30 minutes for our drink orders alone, and my fathers coke came in a cracked glass.
After waiting 40 minutes for our dinner, I thought at least the food would be fine but the vegetables were still raw...
Really underwhelmed I'm surprised it was a 4-star establishment.

Had a really gorgeous lunch last weekend. Great choice on the menu, food was superb, staff were so friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the service, would highly recommend this stylish hotel and restaurant.

Large comfy room, bathroom was slightly dated. Couldn't work out the heating controls though! Very friendly welcome and staff. Generous breakfast and evening meal portions are huge!

Went for lunch here today placed an order for fish and chips we waited for fifty minutes and when we questioned the delay we were told the salmon takes twenty minutes to cook. We had to leave to go back to the hospital which was why we ordered fish and chips. We thpught it would be quicker. I wont be going back there neither will the three people who were with me.

Worst steak in years....completely over cooked. Asked for medium, got well done. Hugely disappointing.

We had a wonderful night, the staff were very helpful and kind to us.

Was there for one night in business and had a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and quiet but the shower felt a bit dated compared to more modern hotels. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were really professional and courteous. The Irish Breakfast was one of the tastiest I have ever had at a hotel (no cheap nasty sausages!) so kudos to the chef for that.

I have stayed previously at the hotel- bedrooms absolutly spotless and beautifully decorated. Nice quiet rooms. Staff extremely helpful & friendly. Breakfast and bar food delicious- and fabulous cocktails also.
My last stay here was In their new self catering section. Very modern decor, kitchenette and sitting room. I would highly recommend these for that girly getaway that we are all missing at this time. I have already booked in eith my friends.

We stayed in one of the suites a few days ago, They were beautiful, Well layed out , but our suite was cold and we couldn't seem to work the thermostat, but we realized the next day (after heavy rain & wind ) that the window was broken (no handle on window hense why it felt like a window opening & closing all night )
But other than that, it was great . I wouldn't let it put me off staying here as the location was great for where I was going. I would just be double checking next time

This is a luxurious and comfortable hotel. Excellent service, rich and tasty breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, the dishes were huge and tastings at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we did not have time to use the pool, the gym and the other facilities the hotel offers.

Booked over the phone and arrived to be treated with total disrespect and told at the desk we couldnt stay without a credit card, this should have been stated while booking not at the desk after arriving with bags, total disrespectful staff, the worse hotel I've ever dealt with.

Lovely to relax in their conservatory for tea with friends. Also the pool and leisure cemtre is nice and the pool is a nice temperature for kids.

We stayed for a night in this hotel and I would absolutely recommend it to friends. From the moment we entered the hotel, we felt safe...temperature check etc.. All staff were extremely professional with safety gear in relation to covid. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful food.

This is a very nice 4 stars hotel.
Staff are nice, building and decor is very nice. Room could be slightly better if that the extraction in there bathroom didn't work, but, that's picky!

Fantastic hotel! Stayed there with a group of friends - staff were so friendly and helpful! Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the hotel was spotlessly clean! Would highly recommend.

Warm and cosy in an Irish Autumn. Management and staff are to be commended on their approach towards customer care, a credit to them. Great food and a well laid out hotel, minutes from the city centre in lovely Castletroy.

Nice play to stay, big car park out the back of hotel, very clean hotel, staff are pleasant and helpful, food was delicious, sadly I missed the breakfast but I can imagine it's perfect too

We had a very nice family stay at the Castletroy Park - it was a short stay but we used the pool and also ate in the restaurant- which was lovely. Food was good and our young kids enjoyed their choices too. The restaurant staff were really nice and helpful as were all the staff we met in the hotel.
There was a wedding in the hotel the night we stayed and were unfortunate with the noise levels coming from the wedding guests in the next room at 4am - the hotel dealt with it quickly enough so that was good.
A mention for Kevin at reception who helped us with our bags and buggy on checkout and also helped us with maps etc of UL. Thank you!!

We have stayed at Castletroy Park Hotel on at least seven occasions. Each time we enjoy our visit The food is very good,the staff are polite and friendly. It is very convenient to all amenities.

Just back from a a night stay away with work. The safety measures in place were superb, warm welcome on arrival and the room was spotlessly clean. Food in the bar was amazing. Can t wait to return. Top class
