Castaway Camp, Young Life Reviews

I had a blast at Castaway I wish I could live there! I have never been to a young life camp before that and we went as a family during family camp. I will soon be participating in WYLD life and hope to return to camp many more years to come. I highly highly highly recommend going to any young life camp at least once you will meet new people get new friends and have delicious food, along with great activities and surprises through the week I will be returning soon with more friends and others! Thank you so much and I will surely treasure YL adventures!

I've attended ELCA youth retreats here several times and am always happy with the experience. The facilities are so nice for a camp. The food is great, especially the big cookie ala mode dessert! A great place to hold large group functions.

Great retreat for the teens, and the adult chaperones

Life changing for many and affirming for everyone who spends time in this wonderful place! I went there twice in the early 1970's and learned to sail and have faith in God and also my own inner voice.

The accommodations are fantastic with great views. A great safe place to retreat and experience the joy of God! The staff is awesome, taking care of each detail, want, or need by the minute!

Work Crew Session 3 was such a Holy Experience. Spending time everyday with Jesus really clears the mind and makes me look for what matters in life, being Jesus Christ. I suggest anyone should do Work Crew/Summer Staff. Just get plenty of sleep!

Great retreat. Staff very helpful and friendly. Place is huge. Lots of fun and food was great.

This is an awesome christian based experience of a lifetime. I volunteer there as often as I can. Everyone on the "work crew" are always a true example of what it means to be "Christian". I go home each time renewed in spirit.

Young Life Castaway Camp is a wonderful place that opens up your soul to the grace of God. This camp provides nice sleeping quarters and activities, and also a good meal. The program I usually attend is through our Diocese and is during the off season from normal camp activities. Young Life does provide a wonderful summer camp where more of the camp is open for activities and has a scheduled faith based program. Look up the camp online for a full schedule!

unbelievable views. beautiful facilities. friendly people. I was lucky enough to be here 2 summers and many winter/fall weekends, and I still fall more in love each time I am here.

It was so so fun, I only recommend adding a few more fruits or veggies to the meals because I got a little sick from not having enough of that

Been years since I ve been. So many great memories so many friends made. This place will always be close to my heart.
