As a member this might be a biased review so read on but just be aware.

This course is in great shape yet again this year and the maintenance staff is out every morning in force getting things ready for the day (I know as I am often in the first group off the tee). They have done an awesome job keeping up with the increased number of rounds this year.

The track is very challenging in places and you need to be on your game to stay out of some trouble but for the most part if you play from the correct tees you will be in good shape. Tee Boxes and fairways are in good condition and greens are in great condition (now if only some of you would fix your ball marks). Greens are faster than avg and provide a nice challenge with some undulations and ridges.

While this course is walkable there are many elevation changes and a few short steep climbs so if you are looking for an excuse to ride a cart this would be the reason.

Over the past 2 years many of the ash trees have been dying off and while they cleaned up many trees last year they just can't seem to keep up and they have become a bit of an eye soar (a shame really).

The course is a little east of Ottawa just off the 417 and is easy to access from the highway and I'm told the rates are reasonable given other courses in the area but as a mbr I don't pay green fees and really can't compare.

Pace of play is much better in the morning than the afternoon but that is true about most courses. You can expect to play in 4 1/2 hrs on avg as a 4some anytime after 10am.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will do whatever they can to make your day enjoyable. If you get a slow day just take your time and enjoy the day.

I played Casselview Golf and Country Club for the first time May 16th 2018. I had a great time. The course is a lot of fun to play. The fairways and greens were in great shape. The people on the course were friendly and helpful. I would very much recommend this course as one to play when you are travelling in eastern Ontario.

Nice course, good condition, fairly challenging layout. Driving range is a very strange set-up, no boxes and it's uphill. You will have no idea if your shot went 115 or 200. Course itself was well maintained, greens were fast. Playing time was smooth with no delays, though you may see an overactive Marshall trying to tell you to "pick up the pace" despite no one waiting on you. Will be back to play again, but likely won't hit the range next time. 19th hole was decent, but descriptions of what an "Albatross burger" actually is would be nice. Overall had a good time, service was good and friendly, and we will be back.

Courae is in great shape. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. Tee boxes need to be leveled and they were very patchy. Well layed out course and a lot of variety on holes. Greens played at an average to fast. Challenging course and would recommend. Pace of play was slow waited on every shot no one really monitoring they were more worried about making sure carts stayed on cart path which I understood cause of a heavy rain the day before but could of easily been 90 degree rule. But overall nice course and I will go back.

Nice course, several greens need work. Have been there many times but these last two tomes, the marshalls have developped attitude. Its ok to advise people of what they may doing wrong but there are proper ways which tow of them have failed....attitude....attitude.....attitude. The deal they have in place which consists of golf, cart and Moosehead beer is great however when I went on Monday I asked if the beer could be replaced by a softdrink since I don't drink. To my surprise and pleasently, I was told not problem. I was told at the Pro Shop when registering that it was only to be consumed after the day. We asked asked at the rnd and was told we could have asked for it halfway to go in a plastic glass which is fantastic. However today different day, different rules. When I asked for a soft drink instead of the beer the young man at the bar which was very nice went to check and he was told no. Iasked for whom he spoke to and I went to speak to him and told him different day different rules. I was very polite and explained they shoumd be consistent with regards to switching the beverage and also with the rule about halfway asking for it to go. He said that was wrong and as for the switching of drinks, its a Moosehead promotion and there is nothing he can do. Odly enough as soon as I said I was going to leave a revieq, he said it was ok to switch. The ownee Claude Leclair walked in and his staff would of course never mention to him my displeasure. The way I see it, it might have been an error the first time but why change your mind as soon as you say you would leave a reivew? The course needs work, the fairways have patches everywhere and the greens are brows and lots with irigationn holes. Ai was told the prices will be going up soon since the course is getting in better sharpe. We are at the end of July and it was farily quiet. If I were them, I would keep the promotion the way it is however if someone wants to change the beer for a softdrink, so what?

In the end, I use to go several times a year to this course but with these attitudes and inconsistencies, there are lots of courses fighting for our dollar..Time to look elsewhere to play and be better served and received.

I have been a fan of Casselview for a long time. When I was searching for a permanent club I use a multi course membership, and found that I had a difficult time getting on Casselview. When I did get on I was never disappointed. Joined the club in fall of 2013 and could not be happier.

I was out golfing with some friends at this course and we all found that the prices were reasonable and it was nice that one drink was included as well as the use of two golf carts. Definitely coming back to this golf course.

Greens weren't in the best condition. We weren't playing slow, but had a group behind us that apparently thought so, there's a hole with a blind fairway and the guy teed off and his ball was 10ft from hitting my husband's head. At the back nine there was a group playing in front of us, they were a little slower but we didn't mind and were waiting for them to get out of the danger zone and the marshall comes to us and says we're playing too slow. I told him we needed to wait for them to move and he says rudely "well then maybe you should let the group behind play through." How that made any sense is beyond me. The only people who worked there that day that were polite was the young man at the starter point, the bar tender and cart girl.
We came here because my hubby had been there a few years ago and had good time and that is why we went. Unfortunately, we were all extremely disappointed.

Fair prices, nice layout. Generally friendly staff. It's also nice that they have a driving range. Wish the golf pickers were out more often though. The kids love trying to hit them, even though they rarely do!

Progressively getting worse and worse with slow play another 2 and a half hour 9 hole round of golf. Juniors can't play when its busy due to slow play but routinely playing 2 and a half hour rounds for 9 holes seems OK for pace of play??

Great course to play at. It's definitely challenging. At least for me it was. I had a great time and would definitely recommend to others to try playing here. Their Covid protocols are top notch as well. I felt very safe.

Course is in great shape but they have a "deal" on now where you get green fee, cart and a beer for $49.95..well the beer was about a 8-10 oz glass of beer with about a one inch head on it. There's also a deal after 2pm (which is the time we played) where you get a free cart. That wasn't mentioned to us when paying....I guess it would end up still being more expensive? It's hard to tell because on their website they don't breakdown a lot of their pricing.
