Casino Aztar, Tropicana Entertainment Inc. Review

Brand new land based casino. Cant win anything here.

When I visited it Tropicana Casino was decent I would recommend people to visit the Tropicana Casino

I am always treated well at Tropicana (although I am far from a "high roller") and love to come for a getaway when I can. The service is excellent, the environment is clean, and the food (especially the Tap Room) is always great.

A larger non-smoking section would be excellent but overall a good experience.

Honestly, I enjoyed the boat more than the land based casino. It's a nice place and all just seemed more exciting on the boat.

This is still a great place to stay, but is showing some signs of aging. Friendly and courteous staff help make the stay more enjoyable.

Even though there were designated smoking/non-smoking areas, you had to walk through the smoking sections before you got to a non-smoking section. Seems to defeat the purpose of having the two separate areas. The casino itself is nice, plenty of food and drink options, but there were plenty of people who made us feel as though we had to be overly cautious of where we sat to play. We won't be back.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous showers, and fairly easy to get into and find everything. The deli was overpriced for not that great of food. The casino floor was overall nice and pretty organized. The top limit at the blackjack table is only $10 which was kind of disappointing though

Good room. They had trouble checking us in. 15 minutes at the front desk behind many people. Hard to deal with after a long drive.

This hotel feels like a slightly upgraded red roof inn. Not what one would expect for the price and the "resort fee"...

Cool environment but bring the right amount of cash or you will be broke quick lol...

The room is very basic, only three clothes hangers and the AC vent is full of dust, it looks like it has not been serviced this decade.

Oh my gosh what a hell of a time I had won lost what does it matter fun fun fun for 2 whole days and nights!?!

Me and my wife have been quite a few times,we have never left with any winnings.staff very friendly.we will go elsewhere next time

Prize give away, they need to change the time to start at 7:00 am. Place is so packed that we leave after getting the gift.

I felt safe. Staff was nice. Down side no winning this time. Lol.

Every since they moved inland they have shrunk the place that they place their slots its is very cramped and I feel like I'm being squished every where I go in the casino

Nice location & lovely view of the riverfront. Shower was pleasant & rooms were clean for the most part. Air didn t work very well & there was no Microwave or mini fridge. One of pillows had piece of hair on it, rusted sprinkler, nasty floor corners around shower & carpet burns & stains. Oh yes lines were really long the 2 times I needed help at the front desk. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Considering the asking price of $179 plus tax, plus deposit & 15% resort fee the room could have been a lot better. The tap house (I think that s what its called) restaurant was awesome.

I hate this new land casino. Miss the old casino boat.

Bar 421 needs to look at the security camera on their bartenders. We never paid the same price for the exact same drinks. Steve's magic acts were good but not at the expense. Big turn off when the same drinks vary by $4 a round.

Too bad the did not consider non smokers. Cant have non smoking in same area. Only an isle seperates. That's just stupid.

I was anxious to come play in the new casino, but it was terrible. You sent me money to play on but I lost it almost immediately. I then put $115 of my money in slots but never won enough money to continue to play on. I have never been so disappointed in my life. I may never come back. You did send us two free buffets and we ate at The Kitchen, delicious food. Our free overnight stay was really nice too, but it is not worth our time to drive there from LaGrange, KY. I am so depressed about this trip. In fact my husband may never bring me back unless you can make it worth while. To top all this, you charged me $17.25 resort charge when we checked out today. This charge is not acceptable to us. Hope you can all your ducks in a row and offer me something to make us want to come back. Let's see if you post this review.

Not a bad casino, but the restaurants inside are worth the trip alone

The hotel rooms are beautiful. When i go i ask for a riverside view and I usually get it. There Kitchen Buffet I love it the food is soo good. The Casino is my favorite part Tropicana Evansville is a nice place to go. After the first visit you will be back again and again.

Late/ early morning, could use housekeeping. Lost alot. To me a waste of time and money

Covid-bump, the two games I like had $25 mins and too few open tables. The one time I attempted to sit, pit boss said no and then placed a hold on the seat for no one. Staff will run you over trying to get to break with no apologies. Extremely disappointed!

Nice casino but they a billion dollar business and can't spend a couple of dollars to get the golf channel

Just another casino where you can go to lose money quickly

Place is horrible the Slot machines are tight soon as you put your Money inside the Slot machine Game it testes you for Games are Bonus but you won't really get it tho it will keep trying to you get it & Everytime someone loses there Money on the Game they was playing the Next person gets on it & will win all your Money you lose sometimes I hate going to that place & when you losing your money people look at you while there winning Money that's what makes me so mad!

I love the slot machines Max and Erma is a good place to eat don't care for the buffet like meeting people and you will meet people from everywhere

This is a very un fair establishment they gave another woman my bonus cause she pushed the button i asked the money in the machine was mine she didnt have any money in it at all so she left machine to go to the restroom woman was very hateful i i had 10.50 in it when sat down and accidentally pushed the max button so the bonus money was hers as they said so i will. Not very disappointed that a multi milliondollar company wont comp me nothing at all

What a tub of crap, should have drove by and tossed the money out the window and saved the time. There just taking people to the cleaners. Don't they have someone to investigate places like this i spent $200 in less then and hour never won more the $5 dollars at one time, casinos are all getting bad but this was a rip off do not go here.

The masks made it hard to enjoy and they required to much hand sanitizer to the point of everytime you looked at someone. This pandemic is becoming a joke

Wouldn't open any of the games i wanted to play. Tightest slots in Indiana. Smoke is terrible and the free rooms are not even free now.
