Since I have never stayed at The Landings, I cannot speak to its rooms etc. I have however eaten at the restaurant several times, and have been disappointed most times. Our last meal there, I had a small size green, nothing-special salad with a small piece of grilled chicken. The chicken was cold and stringy, and the salad consisted of lettuce, tomato, carrots and cukes. And for that I was charged $21 USD.

Pretty good overall. Service in general very good, food service island slow which is fine. Food was good most seemed prepared in non large scale manner which is hard to do in that environment. Would like to have a bit more privacy decks were close and can see and hear everything.

We had a wonderful time at The Landings. Our room...

We had a wonderful time at The Landings. Our rooms were spectacular. We were given a three bedroom, used only two of the bedrooms. Both were spacious. Common area is spacious with a nice kitchen. Balconies on the front and back...again...spacious. Bathrooms are fabulous. Housekeeping was wonderful! We would leave for breakfast and by the time we got back the room was made up. Best housekeeping service we have ever had, surpasses Disney resorts. The staff everywhere is very friendly, warm, welcoming. Loved everyone at the Beach Club restaurant. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The minute we were finished with a plate it was taken off our table. They aim to please. They were very personable with the families and got to know many of them. The staff person who checked us in and welcomed us remembered our names when we would return to the lobby to see the concierge.

We loved the location. The beach was lovely. We researched several resorts and wanted an expanse to walk. We were not disappointed. Snorkeling right there was very good. I was surprised there were beautiful fish swimming so close to shore.

If you are celebrating an occasion like a birthday, be sure to tell them! I won't say more to spoil the surprise.

We appreciated the security. Someone was usually present on the beach day and night. We were impressed when we left in a taxi and the driver handed the gate attendant an envelope and told the attendant what room we were from. Upon return it was the same procedure. It was nice to know the resort would know if we did not return. But no concerns there. The taxi service from the resort was quite professional.

The only reason I did not give the Landings a five star is for the restaurant situation. First of all, pricey, but when we checked out other restaurants, they were all pricey in our area with no other options. That was disappointing. Secondly, we read the reviews where there were three restaurants, but most people were satisfied with the three. We were there just last week, the beginning of off season. Only one restaurant was open at a time. That did not work well for us. We would have liked a choice. My daughter and I were struggling with the Caribbean food. We were dying for something close to American. In hindsight I should have asked if something else off the menu was possible. The BBQ night was heaven, lots of side dishes we could eat, but pricey.

Suggestions if restaurant cost matters to you. One night we asked for the kids' menu and our daughter and I enjoyed our meals that night. Very basic. We thankfully took advantage of the Pantry service before we left and had drinks and lunch options in our room. We felt the Pantry prices were fairly reasonable considering it is a resort. One night when we went to Rodney Bay to cruise the malls, realized they were not for us, we went to the grocery store and got items to make a spaghetti dinner in our room. That was fun! The night it was only fine dining at the Palms restaurant we opted for Room Service. Their pizzas are very good!

All in all, though, The Landings is a lovely resort, friendly, clean and they go out of their way to make you feel at home.

I would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for fantastic condos, a unique, professional, peaceful place to stay with lots of indoor/outdoor space and excellent customer service. It's a chillaxing empire with it's own private Marina and a number of pools differentiating in shapes and sizes to choose from.

Location great, friendly and courteous staff, excellent and spacious accommodations. Well kept surroundings but the only downfall was the food. We took a breakfast package only but, we had wings the first day we arrived and was disappointed with the taste, although the chocolate dessert was tasty. Would highly recommend it for everything else but food.

At this resort i'm having possibly the worst breakfast experience in my entire life! My fourth day here and i continue to be underwhelmed everyday by what they serve for breakfast. I'm lost for words so here's a picture of their eggs Benedict that was served to me this morning with no shame. Yuk!

Incredible Holiday at Paradise

Incredible Holiday at Paradise
Words cannot express our time at The Landings. The staff were all so friendly, kind, efficient & couldn't do enough for us. We arrived to an upgrade from 1 bedroom to 3 ensuite & 1 extra bathroom. It was fabulous suite with a plunge pool looking out at the marina and front view of the beach. The food was delicious. Calaloo restaurant on beach was great for food all day & dinner Sunday & Monday. Eli & Ophelia were brilliant and knew when we needed drinks by pool or beach. Loved their home made chips & salsa. Beach Club Restaurant top class food. Turquoise Bar served beat cocktails. Happy hour every eve. The colour of the sea was wow... super blue. Water so warm and I never go swimming but felt very safe and cooled off in the warm sea. Played tennis with other guests. Went on day sail to The Pitins, volcano, botanic gardens, mud bath, snorkelling and of course some dancing.

This resort was first class all the way! We struggled to find solid reviews when searching for a place to call home while away, so will try to do some justice to our experience with The Landings:

1) Room was beautiful and surprisingly large (1400 sq ft). We stayed in a two bedroom on the top floor with a plunge pool. The rooms had everything from full kitchen, to appliances and laundry. The views were amazing and beds very comfortable.

2) The staff was over the top amazing! We have traveled around the globe and have never encountered so much love and warmth. I will give two examples below of this, but imagine every person you saw or talked to greeting you with a smile and a true urge to serve. First example would be Chef Curan... amazing smile, great man and incredible chef! He customized vegan dinner appetizers/dishes for my wife and I that were breathtaking! Beautiful dishes with a flavor to match! 5 STARS! Example two is the concierge. My wife broke her glasses and they went into the main port city to get her super glue at no charge! Completely unexpected and over the top!

3) Beach and property was amazing and placed at the top of the island (about two hour drive from airport). Bar and quick service food was great (loved the chips/salsa). Breakfast every morning was very satisfying and coffee was an easy upgrade from Starbucks (and we are Starbucks people in U.S.)!

Wonderful, spacious, 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the private marina. Beautiful beach with comfy sun loungers with 2 restaurants serving great food. The staff are a joy and some of the loveliest people I have met on my travels and incredibly accomodating. There were several swimming pools and we had these to ourselves most days. I loved it at The Landings. Highly recommended.

Had a great stay at the Landings. I would go back again. Maintenance was quick to fix any issues. My only complaint would be that housekeeping didn't leave enough toilet paper after 3 days of asking and leaving very specific hand written instructions handed to them when they came to the room. Other than that issue the staff is fantastic. Meals were always a joy and relaxing and the servers were extremely friendly and courteous!

Beautiful position, huge accommodation, and wonderful, friendly staff. The hotel is family orientated, and would probably not suit if you are seeking romantic moments but does have couple compatible areas and events.

The experience at the Landings is one that is unlike no other on the island. If you have a boat they offer a place for you that's safe, right on the beach and has space inside each residence that, as my friend put it, was like the wing of mall. The location is breathtakingly beautiful, the staff are friendly and the food is great. I will be back soon for sure!

We stayed for a week in Aug . The place is very nice beach is beautiful the staff is amazing and so friendly. I gave it 3 stars because it is very quite at night not much entertainment for guests. Limited choices to eat all meals . 2 of the 3 restaurants were closed most days of our trip. I was told many times July and Aug is the Landings slow season so they cut back where they can. The problem is people take vacations in July and August and do not deserve poor choices from upper management to save money by cutting services . Penny wise and dollar foolish

Loved our time here. Wonderful friendly staff! The papaya salad with grilled chicken at beach bar is amazing. Also try the sour sop fruit at breakfast- delicious. Accommodation was in great condition (clean and well equipped). We had a huge amount of space. Beach is beautiful and many free water sports available such as Sailng-Hobie cats, Kayaking, standup pedal*boarding (hadnt seen it before). Wake boarding, jet-skiing and other speedboat related sports also available for a small fee. Jet-ski hire available from erd party operators. Keep a look out for the fresh fruit man who passes by on a bizarre small flat-bottomed boat covered in leaves and timber/wood.

Very nice place. The front desk almost seemed like a sales pitch. The resort is a taxi cab ($12 each way) or a short drive from any activity off the resort. The resort food isn't bad, but it is resort priced and portioned that way. The free non-motorized water sports were alot of fun and it didn't seem like many people took advantage of it. It is a non-solicitint beach, but you will get the occasional straggler until security asks them to leave. I would come stay here again.

Please be advised that upon arrival to the hotel you will have to take ANOTHER PC3 test in addition to the one you provide when arriving into the country, which we were unaware of.

You will then be required to quarantine 24 to 36 hours with very limited instructions. When we called the nurses' station for further information, they seemed frustrated and dismissive. Schedule your time appropriately because you will be confined to your room. I would ve like to have known this information prior to arriving for better planning. We were truly shocked to hear the news upon checking in and it really sets the tone for the rest of our stay.

Once out of quarantine, you will receive a blue strip and no further instructions or site visits. The concierge is not very accommodating or friendly. Milo in water sports is not very pleasant or inviting. We asked to take the catamaran out and he seemed bothered by it. The staff at The Palms restaurant is nice. The beach club is pleasant but has a restricted menu.

I miss the hospitality and friendliness and clearer directions before arrival would have been useful.

I hate that I have to give The Landings only two stars, because there are many great things about the place- the food, most of the staff, the rooms, and the beach area. However, I feel it's my duty to let others know what happened during our stay. We went on an all day excursion on our 2nd day at the resort, and left our cash and passports locked in the in-room safe (as we were encouraged to do for security purposes). When we returned to our room, our safe was open and the cash was gone. As if that's not bad enough, management's response to our unfortunate situation was disappointing and unacceptable. The GM was apparently not on the property for 2 days after the incident occurred, so a "formal" investigation was not initiated until 2 days after the incident occurred (one day before we were leaving the resort). At no time during this mess did management offer any type of apologies, or make any effort to show they were concerned with the terrible incident. Upon check-out, we were informed that the "investigation" was ongoing, and that we needed to pay for all hotel incidentals before leaving. We were "assured" that once the investigation was closed they would notify us- Obviously, we are not holding our breath waiting on that (especially since it's been 10 days now since we checked out, and we haven't heard one thing from The Landings. So I say.. if you choose to stay here, do NOT leave anything of value anywhere in your room!!!

As a travel agent: I spent three wonderful nights in the luxury of my small one bedroom magnificent room overlooking the gardens. It was like a small house with stairs and I learned Mick Jagger was in the room above me the week before I came. So sad!
But I had a fantastic time during my stay. The hotel staff was helpful, setting up my dinner reservations (not included) but I had to try the fine dining for at least one night.
The beach is a walk and all inclusive. I did the sunsail and had my own private ride with the lifeguard as we swayed after hours on the beach. This hotel is private and on the inlet of St Lucia. Not many people were at the hotel and it was like having my own private pool where I sat during the day with my book and a glass of wine.
Quite a cozy relaxing place. Shout out to: Lyle Pauls/ General Manager -Thanks
